It was,so lovely to read the Harper girl's again, it's 1914 at Harper's in Oxford Street London, Ben and Sally Harper happily married and expecting their first child, both working so hard building up the store that has now been open two year's. Once again the book takes you on a journey through all the characters old and new to be enjoyed by the author's readers. I found this a delight to read right till the end that leaves you feeling like your in the book with them all.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is the third in the series and was thoroughly enjoyable. It follows the lives of the 'Harper girl's' who work at a department store of the same name. Characters introduced in the second book were expanded on and their stories told. You don't have to have read the first 2 books but it does help if you had, they are also very interesting and show life as it was 100 years ago. I liked the attention to detail and the way the story moves along at a good pace. The book finishes at the start of WW1, I can't help drawing my own conclusions about what will happen next so I am hoping there will be a 4th book to see if I'm right. Very good read.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book to read and review.
Returning to a setting is always a treat when you have loved the first book in the series and with Rosie's warm traditional writing style is is a pleasure. The characters become friends and you cannot help but be drawn into all the emotions the plot expects. Rainy Days for the Harper Girls has a great plot with romances and twists and turns along the way.
I perfect way to escape. Loved it.

When does the next book come out?! Thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment; just what was needed during lockdown! Some unexpected twists and turns left me picking up this edition at every opportunity to see what was going to happen next. With war now declared, a period of history I am particularly interested in, I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

The third book in the Harpers Girls series is just as difficult to put down as its predecessor!

We follow Beth, Maggie, Sally and Rachel as well as some other new and familiar faces, as they try to navigate life at Harpers with the looming threat of war over their heads in 1914.

The book is wonderfully written, with engaging characters, a gripping plot and whirlwind romances. The attention to detail of the Harpers Girls world really draws you in and leaves you wanting more.

This is a great continuation of the series and a perfect easy read, I look forward to finding out what happens next!

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to review a copy of this book early in exchange for a review. Any opinions expressed are my own.
