"Buzz Books 2020: Fall/Winter" by Publishers Lunch is a concise guide offers a sneak peek into the most anticipated literary releases of the season, making it an essential tool for staying up to date with the latest trends in the world of publishing for book enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. I enjoy receiving this, as it allows me to choose which books I can add to my "to-read" list, and which ones I should pass on.

Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

These guides are tons of fun because they provide insight into the books that are generating the most buzz for the upcoming season. Titles and authors are presented in an easy to read format, with the ability to jump to another title or author, and read some of the book.
It then offers a way to request the galley, or provide info on the publication of the book. A great guide for book enthusiasts!

I always love these editions of the offering of books for the season. They not only provide info about the book but a wealth of knowledge on how to contact people regarding the books! Which is such an amazing tool!

I love these seasonal into compilations. As a bookseller, it's always nice to get a sense of what you can recommend to some of your regular customers or someone buying a gift.

I love these because they give a good idea of what to read next. Awesome! It is very helpful to get a food sample of what is to come to be able to plan & seek future reads.

Always a helpful resource to plan TBR list. The blurbs on the various books are thorough and accurate allowing the reader to get a good sense about the plot line.

I love when a new issue of Buzz Books comes out as it gives you a great guide of the up and coming books and a quick summary! I use this to select the books and make my quick list as to my next reads. Great guide for those who would like some guidance with their reading choices.

A good preview of books. Gave me some good ideas for books I want to read.. I just wish that the pre Jews were longer than they were.

Interesting set of books, each has a chapter of the book previewed which gives the reader an idea of how the author writes and whether they would want to buy the book and continue.

I love these books as they show and preview some really good reads for the season. The Buzz Books have different books from different publishers and authors but they’re all amazing, to me at least.

These catalogs are always helpful in looking for future titles of interest! I like how there are snippets of key upcoming releases included to get a tone for some of the stories.

I enjoy reading these previews of upcoming releases. I usually add a ton of new books to my already toppling TBR list.
