Bayberry is a small town. The only thing keeping it alive is the Bayberry Candle Company which has been in Kate's family since its beginning. But the company is in big trouble financially and her Aunt, the owner who she lives with, has called in a financial consultant. Wesley, who lived briefly in Bayberry years ago is sent by his company to do the analysis and recommendation on its future. Will the town's means of livelihood be saved by a Christmas Miracle or is it destined to close down? A feel good book that has interesting characters and deals with Christmas traditions and the hope for a miracle. Definitely worth reading.

The magic of a Hallmark Christmas strikes again! A corporate guy from the big city comes to a small town? Check. A family business that needs saving? Check. Romance brews between corporate guy and small town girl? Check. (Love the background story that Wes had a crush on Kate when they were 15!). Snow falling? Check. Big Christmas events (tree lighting and Candlelight Dance)? Check. These pages were filled with fun, romance and lots of holiday joy!

I love Jennifer Faye's writing and was excited to get the opportunity to read her new upcoming Holiday release, Christmas in Bayberry. I loved getting to know the town’s people. It was so sweet meeting Kate and Wesley. I have to admit the plot is somewhat predictable but it is still so very delightful to read and should not missed.
I am giving Christmas in Bayberry a very well deserved five plus stars. I would love to read more like this one by Miss Faye in the future. I recommend this one to readers who are Hallmark fans and those who like to read clean Christmas books.

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

Christmas in Bayberry by Jennifer Faye is a wonderful, festive read that will warm your heart and get you in the mood for the holiday season. I loved the cozy small-town feeling and thought the author did a great job of making the reader feel like they're right there in Bayberry, enjoying the snowy weather and the town's Christmas traditions. Wes and Kate are both likable and relatable characters. Kate is a strong, kind-hearted, and optimistic woman. She loves everything about her town and will do anything to save her family's candle business, which provides jobs for more than half the town. The company isn't doing well financially and Wes, a workaholic from New York, is hired by Kate's aunt to evaluate the company's financial situation. Wes has been working hard to get a promotion and all he wants is to finish this job and go back to New York. However, the magic of Bayberry, as well as his feelings for Kate makes him question if he's truly happy with the direction his life is going. Will they find a way to save the candle company? And what happens after he completes his job? Will he go back to his unfulfilling job in New York, or will he make some changes?

This romantic Christmas story will leave you with a smile on your face and make you want to curl up on your sofa with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa. I highly recommend it.

I adored this book. It is a sweet, clean romance set in a small town at Christmas. Some of my favorite settings! The main characters are wonderful and they are great together. Trying to save Bayberry and the Candle Company ultimately brings them together and it is really beautiful. An absolutely magical romance!
I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher and voluntarily chose to review it.

Small town everywhere are in trouble especially if they depend on one major business. In Christmas in Bayberry by Jennifer Faye it is Bayberry Candle Company that is in trouble with the town of Bayberry right along side of it. What will happen seems to be up to the two main individuals but of course, other forces always come into play.

A town in need, a financial firm analysis evaluating the company and the niece of the woman running the company made for a delightful story with just enough drama. The festive holiday season brings all kinds of warm, fuzzy, heartwarming quality to the sweet romance that has the trademark Hallmark happily-ever-after to this Christmas in July release.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A perfect Hallmark Christmas novel full of small town charm.

Wes returns to his high-school home town for a work project to find the client’s niece is girl he had a crush on in high school.

Plenty of classic Hallmark themes such as second chance love, small town romance, hidden agendas and misunderstandings and heaps of homemade festive cookies and treats.

A gloriously clean, romantic and fulfilling Christmas story sure to warm the heart x I received an ARC of this book but the views and opinions are all my own x

What a wonderful time of the year... when the Christmas romances are finally starting to be released! This is my first read from the author and I feel like I started with a good one. Closing my eyes I could imagine myself living in Bayberry and almost as part of a movie from Hallmark Channel.

Kate Taylor works for her family company The Bayberry Candle Company and they are the base and foundation of the small town of Bayberry. Wes Adams works for a consultancy company in New York and now his boss sent him to Bayberry to evaluate the financial situation of the candle company. And who would imagine? Now he is back to the town he lived for 1 year and had a big teen crush with Kate.

This book is truly magical, as Kate and Wes try to save the company and town, they both help each other growing hope and what’s important at life, while their feelings grow and grow, with a touch of the Christmas spirit.

And we have a lot of things here: suspicious Santa Claus, tree lighting, Candlelight Dance on Christmas Eve, snow ball fight, toboggan slid, a lot of amazing hot beverages and foods, Christmas tree decorations and so many more! This book really put you in a wonderful Christmas mood!

Kate and Wes they had a very different life from each other, but at the end, they really wanted the same things and I loved their finale! So sweet, romantic and all about love and compassion. If you are into Christmas books, this book is for you!

I liked the small town of Bayberry, Vermont. It was so quaint and even had the Bayberry Candle Company, which had been family owned for over 100 years. Kate's Aunt Penney owned the factory and had hired a consultant from New York City to help determine the future of the company.
I liked that Wes, was sent by his company to do the consultation. It was fun watching him catch up with people he knew from the brief time when he had lived there in a beautiful, Victorian house, when he was in junior high.
I really enjoyed the fun, Christmas traditions of the tree lighting, Santa, putting ornaments on the tree, and the Candlelight dance on Christmas Eve. I also enjoyed We finding his Christmas spirit, with the help of Kate. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

A wonderful story with that special holiday magic and great small town appeal. Wesley and Kate have a special relationship that makes everyone see what is truly most important in life as well as how with hard work anything is possible. Definitely one for the holiday must read list. I highly recommend it.

I really loved this book. It was a quick read, lot's of great detail and a surprising storyline. It was also very refreshing and not overdone. Generally I do not read Christmas themed books in the middle of the hot summer, but with this one, I am glad that I chose to read it now. It helped to cool off the heat of the summer, just putting me in the romantic and picturesque New England town. I could feel the snow on my face and the cold all around me. Take a chance on this one and I know you will not regret your decision. Enjoy!

*3.5

This is a warm and cozy small town Christmas story that I enjoyed reading. I think that if you are looking for something lighthearted and sweet you will enjoy it too!

Wesley "Wes" Adams is in competition to become the assistant vice president at Watson & Summers where he is currently a senior business advisor. The week before December Mr. Summers gives Wes an assignment and tells him that this will give him the edge he needs to get this promotion. Wes is being sent to Bayberry, Vermont to crunch some number and assess what needs to be done with this small town's candle company. Wes moved around quite a but as a kid and lived in Bayberry for a short period of time. Bayberry, where Wes met Kate Taylor...his secret junior high crush. There is no way Kate still lives there...

The Bayberry Candle Company has been in Kate's family for generations and is currently run by her Aunt Penney. Kate knows that the business isn't running like it should be but Penney just wont open up and discuss what the company needs with Kate. So when Kate bumps into a handsome newcomer and find hims moving into HER office to work, she knows the company must be in more financial trouble than she realized. Will Wes, with the help of Kate and the close knit community, be able to save the candle company or is it too late?

Wes is such a sweetheart and wanted to do everything in his power to save the candle company and help Kate pursue her dream of running it. What I didn't like about this story was I felt that it was a bit too long. The characters kept repeating thoughts over and over. AND it took about 75% of the way through the book to see some good flirting from BOTH characters. Y'all that drove me nuts! I wish we had more of a relationship sooner in the story.

I love Christmas stories any time of the year. This is my first by Jennifer Faye but it will not be my last. I It makes you want to visit Mayberry and meet all the people in the town. Kate loves Christmas and Baybeerry. She wants the candle factory her grandparents started to continue in to the future for herself but also for the fown. Without it there would be no town. Her aunt has hired a consultant Wesley Adams who lived in the town for one-year as a child. His mother and her aunt were friends during that time. Wesley now works for a company in New York city and his boss wants him to come up with a business proposal if it can continue or if it should be sold. Wesley only cares about getting the job done and getting the promotion he has worked so hard for. Kate is unbelievably the report but she tries to make him enjoy the town and show him how much the candle factory means to the town. As they spend !is this more time together they both bring out the best in each other. V Does Wesley find Christmas and what really matters ? B Does Kate open her heart ? Will West decide there is more to life than work ? What is in the report and how does it effect Bayberry, the candle factory, and Kate ? Will Kate get her Christmas MirAcle ? Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read and review this book.

I am a sucker for small-town Christmas romances. While I liked the premise of this story and the characters were fine, I was hoping for a little more oomph in the book. All characters were assumed to be white, which continues to be a problem in the Hallmark movie and book world. I needed the hero and heroine to have more internal conflict, without that the romance fell flat.

I think this book is going to have a market, but I would love to see Hallmark capitalize on their success by pushing past the assumed white, small-town romance and create characters with more depth and complications.

Y’all know I can’t resist anything Christmas and Hallmark and Netgalley always comes through. It’s Christmas in July with this quintessential holiday romance. I always love the festive holiday settings and characters who have a change of heart. Sparks fly when Wes is asked to return to Bayberry again per request of his boss, not expecting his school crush to be the owners niece of the business he is sent to evaluate. Of course you can expect Christmas lights twinkling and snow falling as they are both faced with decisions about what they want in their future. There is nothing like hallmark Christmas to get me away from reality! If you are looking for the book that checks all the boxes for Christmas, this is definitely it!
