Christmas in Bayberry by Jennifer Faye

This was a heartwarming book that made you want to cuddle up with a blanket and a hot chocolate! One expected that there would be a happily ever after, but I never thought that there would be as many HEA’s! Don’t want to give up the spoilers!! Get the book to see what transpires because you might be surprised!!!
Wesley Adams is your typical work alcoholic loner and is striving towards the big promotion! His mother is in Florida in a retirement community and seems to like it, but does she really? Read the book!!!
During his childhood, Wesley dad was always moving the family because the grass was greener on the other side of the rainbow!! So, Wes is not wanting to leave his little apartment and staying in the same safe job.
However, his boss wants him to go to the last place that it just so happens that it was the one place that made him & his mom the most secure & happy! He also had a slight crush on a girl, Kate Taylor whose Aunt owned the Bayberry Candle Company that he was coming to do a review on to possibly recommend to sell which Kate was totally against!! Holy Toledo get ready for Fireworks and you have to read the book because the author, Jennifer Faye takes you down memory lane, but with a twist of course!!!
I enjoy Hallmark movies and so I like books that sometimes you just want to experience hometown effervescent comforting!
I received a advanced copy from netgally and these are my words and opinions!

4 star review of Christmas In Bayberry by Jennifer Faye

Jennifer Faye is a new author to me and Christmas in Bayberry was a festive read. I liked Ms.Faye’s style of writing and felt as though I was a part of the magic of Bayberry. This book was full of quirky characters that were entertaining to read about. It was a heart warming and enjoyable read.
I really liked Kate Taylor and Wes Adams, they were easy to relate to and Kat’s friends and their families were great secondary characters. Will the magic of the holiday season bring happiness and a re connection for Kate and Wes?

Bayberry sounds like a beautiful place to live or visit and I found this story to be full of hope, love and family, of second chances and fate. A festive and sweet story that will get you in the mood for the holiday season.

I received a copy of this book through the publisher via Netgalley.

My first christmas book of the year and definitely not a disappointment. It has all the elements I love in a christmas book: a great town where community is important, seemingly oppositional hero and heroine who discover they have more in common than they think and a chance to rediscover the importance of christmas values and tradition. It may only be July but Im definitely feeling the Christmas spirit. Just perfect.

Business Consultant Wes only cares about his career. That is, until he is sent back to his childhood town of Bayberry to evaluate the candle company. Unexpectedly, he crosses paths with Kate, a woman he once had a crush on. As the pair are thrown together in business, they begin to like one another. However, things are not straightforward with the future of the candle company hanging in the balance and their life heading in different directions.
A cosy small-town romance packed full of charm and Christmas spirit. I found it a great escapist read and it certainly got me in the mood for the Christmas season. The small town was full of heart-warming characters and celebrations. The romance between Wes and Kate was sweet and kept pace with the conflict in the story. I thought the ending was as satisfying and what I hoped for. Everything I expect to find in a Hallmark Christmas romance. It would work well as a movie. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks to NetGalley and Hallmark publishing for this ARC, which I received in exchange for an honest review.

In today's difficult times I couldn't have been happier to escape to Bayberry, Vermont and spend time with Kate and Wes. The entire town shares an optimistic and uplifting attitude which is so appealing. Even though going in I was assured of a happy ending, I loved the unfolding of the story and how I got to that ending. I hope this isn't Jennifer Faye's only visit to Bayberry. I would love to have more.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I love all Christmas stories and especially any story with Vermont as the setting so was very excited to read this one. The story is well written and ends in happily-ever-after but I felt it was predictable. Could I have closed the book half way through and still known how it would end? Yes I could have. The author is talented but I personally felt I have seen this plot many times before and only the names were changed. However, If this were to be made into a Hallmark movie then I will be all in with a bowl of popcorn and ready to watch.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Christmas in Bayberry by Jennifer Faye is a heartwarming Christmas romance that will entice you into the small town of Bayberry Vermont.

New York consultant Wesley Adams is moving toward a promotion when he is instructed to do an analysis of the Bayberry Candle Company. When he arrives in Bayberry, he bumps into his old teen crush, Kate Taylor.

Kate is all about Christmas and Bayberry. She loves the people and the town. She is all fired up about saving the family candle factory, but doesn't know what Wes is doing sitting in her office. As she and Wes work closely together, the chemistry between them grows. To the point that Wes is left with some heavy decisions.

Faye has written a classic Hallmark story. I loved all the characters and the feel of the town, as they pull together when most needed.

This is a great holiday story. Clean romance. Thank you to Netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for an ecopy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book was the perfect cozy Christmas read, a Hallmark movie come to life in the pages. Faye's writing envelops you in the Christmas spirit of Bayberry, setting the perfect scene for this story amidst the festive traditions, twinkling lights, and evergreen wreaths.

Wes Adams is on track for a major promotion at his NYC consulting firm - all in line with his life plan. But he's surprised when his boss sends him to the little town of Bayberry, Vermont to complete a project for the local candle company just before the holidays. Wes has fond memories of the short time he and his family lived in Bayberry during his teenage years and the special girl at school he'd had a massive crush on, but will this project really help him get the promotion he's been chasing?

Kate Taylor loves everything about Bayberry, from the friendly neighbors she says hello to each morning to the holiday spirit that pervades every corner of the town to the Bayberry Candle Company, which her family has run for generations. But with the company struggling, putting the entire town's future at risk, Kate wants nothing more than to save her beloved company and create a perfect Christmas season for all.

When Wes bumps into Kate on his first day in town, he wasn't expecting to run into his teenage crush. But as they spend more and more time together and Kate makes Wes a part of the town's Christmas traditions, it's clear there's something more than Christmas spirit in the air between these two. But will Wes' analysis of the candle company's future save Kate's dreams? Or will the magic of this Christmas in Bayberry be gone by the New Year.

Faye created an adorable, believable relationship between Kate and Wes, leaving the reader to eagerly root for their slowly budding romance. And the town's love for all things Christmas left me with a smile on my face, ready to deck the halls and spread some Christmas cheer. This book is the perfect read curled up by a roaring fire with a warm Christmas drink in hand, carols playing softly in the background. Thank you to Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Now THIS is what I call a heartwarming Christmas story AND I want to move to Bayberry:) I can't say enough how much I loved this story and as you're reading it, you can't help but get that tingly, happy, sparkling feeling in your tummy! I adore Christmas and all that comes with it (yes, even the crowds in the malls) and this story has it all, all the traditions, the caring people, the coming together of a community and the true spirit of Christmas.

I love Kate and Wes' characters, both have so much heart. Kate is trying everything to save the Bayberry Candle Company that has been in her family for generations and Wes has been hired by her aunt to do an analysis on the company. It doesn't look good. Wes has been working on getting a promotion and all he wants is to finish this job and then continue with his life in New York. Hard to resist a town like Bayberry, though, as well as his feelings for Kate. The whole story is so beautifully written!!

I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This book is everything I want in a Christmas novel. I love the cozy small town feeling with all the traditions and everyone knowing everyone. It doesn’t matter that it’s June, I wanted to listen to Christmas music and pack up my Christmas tree. It really made me feel the spirit of Christmas. It’s just a really cozy read where you follow the relationship between the main characters with a smile on your face.

Kate and Wesley fall in love with each other while he is in town to help her aunt's company, and both have to decide what they want for the future.

The classic Hallmark movie formula in book format.

Handsome boy comes to town. (small town Vermont)
Boy meets girl with a problem. (family-owned candle company on the verge of failing)
Together they solve it and end up falling in love in the process.

Just the perfect binge read title to help lift your spirits.

A sincere thank you to the publisher, author and Netgalley for providing me with an ebook copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is not my usual genre, I’m more into crime/thriller books and even psychological thrillers too so I am extremely pleased and grateful to them for opening up my mind to something totally different.
