Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for an digital ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. I could NOT put this book down. It hits so close to home in this age of entitled, helicopter parents who will stop at nothing to ensure that their child gets what they want. I live in Orange County CA, and these scenarios are more common than you would think. It's disheartening, but rang so true for me. This was so very well done.

I really enjoyed this book. The first third or so had so much detail about the college application/admission process that it took me back to going through all of that with my kids--not necessarily something I want to relive! But the story really picked up, with complex characters (including some you love to hate!) and a gossipy storyline. It reminded me of "Big Little Lies," only with high school and college issues instead of kindergarten. The ending was satisfying, with just about everyone getting what they deserved/earned!
