Netgally Review:

I cannot get over how disappointing this was. I was so bored that I honestly couldn't finish the last few chapters. I have never said that about a Melissa Brayden book before :(.

Melissa Brayden has a huge fan in me. I've read almost everything she's ever written, which makes my expectations very high for each new book. And this was not a disappointment at all. I often say that reading a book from Melissa Brayden is like huddling down in front of a fireplace, just basking in the comfort and coziness. Entangled is exactly like that. It is a truly feel-good book and I couldn't put it down!

I love how flawed and realistic her characters are, and I can't wait to read more from this small group of women.

To be highly recommended!

A wonderful story about love and friendship, Melissa Brayden delivers an incredibly enjoyable read in Entangled.

Her father’s passing at the start of the novel forces Joey to make some huge changes at her family vineyard. Sad and stressed, she calls her bestie for help. Madison not only signs on as the new winemaker, she brings reinforcements as well. Chef Gabriella is looking for a change and jumps at the chance to join the crew. This is a friendship that works beautifully for me, and Ms. Brayden writes some great scenes with this trio.

One huge change for Joey is the opening of a new resort in her small town. The gorgeous new GM catches her eye, and Joey has to open her heart to possibilities she’d never imagined for herself.

Moving to a brand new town, Becca is doing her best to establish friendships and become part of the community. Warm and sweet and sunny, Becca proves herself to be a true and loyal friend. Told in alternating points of view we do get to know Becca, but the story is really centered around Joey (which I loved).

Ms. Brayden paints a vivid picture of this small Oregon wine country town. With the colorful townsfolk and stunning vistas, we get a good idea of what life is like for the folks who live there. It sounds absolutely beautiful and I’ve got to say I’d love to visit!

I’m glad to see Gabriella’s going to get the next story. Ryan’s entrance at the end of Entangled certainly is enticing. Hopefully we'll have Madison after that, and I’d love to get Monty and Stephan’s story too someday.

This is the first book in a new romance series by Ms. Brayden. The series name is “Tangle Valley”. I love Ms. Brayden’s writings and am never disappointed. The setting is Tangle Valley Vineyards located in Whisper Wall, Oregon. This vineyard has been owned by the Wilder family for several generations and has an excellent reputation for creating outstanding wines.

Josephine Wilder has been working with her father since she was a little girl. She ran the tasting room while her father handled the growing of the grapes and the making of the wines until his passing. When Josephine inherits the vineyard, she calls on her friends, Gabriella and Madison, to help her to continue running the vineyard as well as to implement her ideas to make the busines more marketable.

The small Oregon town has all the charm that one would look for when visiting the wine country. However, Whisper Wall is about to have a huge resort. This new hotel is not looked upon favorably by the residents because they feel it will ruin the ambiance of their little town. The new resort/hotel is going to be run by Becca Crawford who has worked for many years at the Elite Corporation. She is exceptionally good at her job and knows how to run resorts. She makes guests feel as though they are special.

When Becca learns that the townspeople are not at all happy about the resort, she must use her talents to win them over. Becca and Josephine meet and their chemistry is off the charts. Initially, Josephine does not know that Becca is affiliated with the resort.

I feel that Ms. Brayden has done a brilliant job with her character development of both the main characters as well as the supporting characters. In addition, she has created a story which will prompt readers to look forward to reading the next book in the series. Ms. Brayden’s writing style is smooth and free flowing!

I rate Entangled 5 out of 5 stars. It will make an excellent addition to anyone’s library.

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

You can't go wrong with wine and love. I had a blast reading the unfolding of these two characters feelins.

I would like to thank Bold Strokes, Net galley and Melissa Brayden for the arc in return for my thoughts. This book takes place in Oregon in the wine country. It is book 1 of three I think and sets up the 3 characters that will be the mains in those books. Frankly Melissa Brayden's last book was not her best work and this one is much better. Not a ton of angst and overall just a great read that will keep you coming back to the book. I look forward to the next sequel that will be a little more on cooking and less on wine I am thinking. 4.25 stars from me. Well worth the time.

Already from the start of the book, I felt a little tug on my heart strings. I’m quite excited for the journey that Melissa Brayden will take me on with this series.

I’m not much of a wine person but I did appreciate reading about producing wine and the process of selling and marketing it.

Entangled was set at a good pace, I love the little breadcrumbs the author dropped regarding the other characters’ chance at love in the books to follow.

This was a nice beginning the series and I look forward to the next installments.

I'm always giddy when I see Melissa Brayden has a new book out, Entangled does not disappoint. A wine vineyard, a food truck, smalltown, friendship, and a dog. Joey's goal in life is to make the family vineyard a success. After a sudden tragic loss, she depends on her friends to help her make a name with Tangle Valley. The problem? The new hotel, The Jade Hotel, opening at the edge of the vineyard. Run by manager Becca Crawford.

Becca has her work cut out for her, convincing the town that the Jade Hotel is a good thing for the town. But Joey is stubborn and is not agreeable at all to the new hotel. But she can't resist falling for Becca. And vice versa.

It's another classic Melissa Brayden book. A nice read for a long weekend.

An enjoyable read and, as I always expect from Ms Brayden, it’s well written as well. The small town rumour mill was spot on. The scenery sounds breathtaking. I could even get behind the new hotel (resort!), although I was with Joey on that one at first as it does sound a bit corporate for the area. The story has a nice progression and a well tempered pace. I particularly loved the reflection of the title with the name of the vineyard; that was classy wordplay. The story doesn’t quite have the sass of the Soho Loft series or the friendship spark of the Seven Shore series, but I’m hoping this is going to be the start of another series, because I definitely want more of Gabriella (I mean the food descriptions alone are hot). Also the enigma of Madison needs unlocking.

There is something about romance books that keeps me going back to them, and I know the main reason is because a lot of people just want to know there will be a happy ending regardless of all the hardships.
To be honest, every single time I see Melissa Brayden as the author of a book, I feel like it is a sign that I am in for the ride of a lifetime

Brayden always makes her characters believable, and most importantly of all, likeable.

We start of with a very pinturesque town where everyone knows everyone and are very much in touch with everything that happens, this is the perfect setting for little drama and a whole lot of romance .

The chemistry if off the charts and the sex scenes are handled very well, this is definitely a win for Brayden and a great way to start of a series.

After we got the SoHo series, I am sure this one will also become a fan favorite.

I think Brayden does her best work when her story is based on a group of friends. Entangled the first book of a friends series has everything that you would hope for when reading a book by Melissa Brayden, always, always likable characters with fun and playful banter. The characters will face their challenges but the book never gets too dark which I appreciate knowing that I can pick up a book from Brayden and get a really good, fun and sweet romance.

I think the only thing I can note is that what I am finding is that each book does seem to have the same thing but with a different background in some regards. I am finding I'm a little less excited by her books and am less likely to re-read the way I did with her earlier books (and still do). I think this is why when I would normally rate her books at a 5 star I'm finding they are sliding to a 4 star. There is a positive in having a consistent author who I know what I can get when I read the book but does take a little bit of the excitement out of the read because it doesn't seem new almost.

In saying all that, I would highly recommend the read and hope you all enjoy the always warm and fuzzy fun read that Melissa Brayden takes us on.

Another amazing romance by Melissa Brayden and a great start of a new series! Can't wait to spend more time in this town with these characters.

DNF at 16%. I think this could be a situation of picking it up at the wrong time. I just couldn’t get into this story - 5 days in and I’m only to 15%. The descriptions of the winery sound beautiful, the characters all seem nice - it just isn’t keeping my attention right now. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance review copy.

Wow....just...Wow! Now I have to try to put into words what I mean. This was a great story. Thank goodness it's just the beginning of the Tangle Valley Romance series, because I want to spend more time with these ladies, the winery, the Resort and everything that makes up the town.
The characters are so colorful, likeable and interesting. Madison, the wine maker, and Gabriella, the chef are a wonderful addition. And hopefully the stars of the following books. The winery seems like a character also. Braden describes it like a wonderful painting and somewhere you would love to walk among the vines.
Of course, the romance was wonderful also. Becca and Joey are so cute together. And their conversations were clever, warm, humorous and loving. Really enjoyable characters. The attraction was immediate and I realized I had only finished half the book? So where do we go from here? Well....There is a lot of story left to cover. There's more lovin, friendships, tragedies and resolutions to come. And a full and complete ending. So many times I am left wanting one more chapter at the end of a story, but this one was just perfect. Yet I will be anxiously waiting for book number 2.
5 stars...It doesn't get any better than this.
I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Four stars for the book, but 5 stars for the series beginning. Meaning I liked the story a lot, but I have a feeling that Joey’s story will be my least favorite out of the three main characters. I was a big fan of Maddie and an even bigger fan of Gabriella, so I can’t wait for their stories.

In regards to this book, Melissa Brayden’s books are always a hit. Who doesn’t like her ability to infuse witty banter throughout the love story?!

This book is set in wine country up in Oregon, and the setting was beautifully described. I wanted to head to a vineyard ASAP and get me some Pinot Noir from Tangled Valley.

Both characters were extremely likable, and I appreciated that Becca didn’t have any hangups about being in a relationship. Sometimes it’s nice when you don’t have both characters struggling all the time. The girl was all in and never wavered. Good for her!

Overall, a great start to a new three part series. In my opinion, that’s where Brayden excels so I’m really excited to see what happens for the other girls.

Becca Crawford has worked hard to become the manager of the new resort ‘Jade’. It also helped a lot that she enjoyed her work. Moving to Whisper Wall, Oregon was going to be a change for sure but it was one she looked forward to. She found herself a house and now all she had to do was make a few friends. Problem was that the people of Whisper Falls were wary of the resort and what it could mean for the little community. She tries to make friends with the locals but it’s when she meets Joey Wilder that she knows she’s finally where she belonged. Now that she had a home she decided to adopt a dog, something she’s wanted to do for a while.
Joey Wilder was born and raised on ‘Tangle Valley Farm’ where she has been learning from an early age what it takes to make the kind of wine that the locals and tourists love. The farm was started by her grandparents who grew grapes for the award winning wine that they made at Tangled Valley Vineyard. When they passed the winery was left to her father, who was a master wine master. Joey had a good life but she’d lost her mother at an early age but the defining moment came when she was left at the altar. Hurt and embarrassed she decides being on her own would probably be for the best. But when her father passed away unexpectedly she became the owner of the winery she loved. Now to make her father proud.
Becca doesn't know that the people of Whisper Falls didn’t want the resort in their community with Joey leading the group. When Joey meets Becca she likes the woman right off but that all changed when she finds out Becca was the manager of that ‘evil Jade hotel’, she can’t believe her luck. Now she not only wants to know Becca a little better but what was she to do about the fact that her new friend works for the enemy resort. Great read.

I loved Joey’s character development. By the time the reader is a couple of chapters into this book they totally get her. They understand the trials that have shaped this amazing woman. They feel all the current pressures that are making her life difficult. They are rooting for her success and then the reader is introduced to Becca…Becca is also amazing and it doesn’t take the reader long to fall for Becca. I absolutely loved her positivity. They way not matter how many times she comes face to face with some small town ideas and opinions, it never got her down. She just kept on doing her thing. When these 2 meet I was like, “yes here we go!” the sparks flew and they weren’t all just sparks of attraction. This author proves time and again that she knows how to write angst! If she doesn’t write more books giving Madison and Gabriella their own true loves I will burn something to the ground, jk. Can’t wait for more!

When it comes to Melissa Brayden, it's redundant to comment on her skills in writing banter, perfect dialogues, chemistry.... It's always brilliant!
But... After a long time, I'm giving Melissa Brayden's book 3.5 stars, leaning on 4. I've noticed it lacks novelty. Reading this one was sort of giving me a deja vu vibe, and I don't like that when it happens to a writer.

Not sure whether I have said this before but if I haven't, it's worth saying again; Melissa Brayden has mastered and perfected the art of story telling! Entangled is the first book in the Tangle Valley Romance series. This series introduces us to Joey, who has recently taken over the running of her family's vineyard. In her efforts to expand vineyard, she recruits her best friend Madison and Madison's ex-girlfriend Gabriella, to help her work towards realizing the vision she has for Tangle Valley vineyards. As her expansion plan is coming together, the only thorn in her side is the new 'mega' hotel that is being built near her vineyard. Because Joey believes that the Jade hotel will spoil the rustic setting of the town, she is opposed to the Jade hotel but cannot help to be intrigued by Becca who is the manager of the hotel. After spending time together, Becca manages to change Joey's mind about the impact of the hotel but can she change Joey's mind about the connection they share?
As usual, the story telling is very good and the witty banter does not disappoint! I was also happy to see references to my top 2 Melissa Brayden books - Strawberry Summer and Back to September. I can't wait for the series featuring Madison and Gabriella!

Josephine "Joey" Wilder inherits her father's vineyard, Tangle Valley Vineyard
Rebecca "Becca" Crawford is the head of The Jade, a resort being built right up the road from Tangle Valley

Joey loves Tangle Valley and her dad, Jack. When Jack passes away, Joey inherits the vineyard, and she has big plans for it. When Becca blows into town to oversee the building and opening of The Jade, Joey and most of the little, bucolic town of Whisper Wall, Oregon are beside themselves.

Becca is attractive, and that's an understatement. Joey is attracted and THAT is an understatement, until she finds out who Becca is and why she's moved into town. Becca is determined to make peace with Joey, but Joey is a bit of a hard sell.

This author is again at her wonderful best. Her dialog is crisp and amusing, as usual. And she has done us potato lovers all a favor by including "I Only Have Fries For You" French fry restaurant in this story. And Emmaline is a trip!

The dance between Joey and Becca is intriguing to read about, but when disaster strikes on a few fronts, what will happen to Joey and Becca? Will the music stop?

Watch what happens!

I highly recommend this newest effort by Melissa Brayden. You're missing out if you pass this one by!
