The mystery elements used in this book suited the entire mood and tone of this book. All the characters are casual and entertaining. 'Stranded Coil' is so real and authentic. The protagonist is interesting. I have not read Altered Helix but I could still connect and enjoy the book. My favorite thing about this book is its originality.
