Wonderful book. The story was well told and researched. A quick read about an unknown serial killer.

Wow this was intriguing, dark and powerful. The plot was very well written and had a lot of unexpected twists I didn’t see coming

An interesting read with lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed this book but did guess the ending quite early on.

This true-crime thriller has a really strong plot line that will keep you turning pages. However, for me, the main character was volatile, and I found some of her actions and responses over-blown while others were not quite enough. I also found her relationships odd, especially the one with her boyfriend/ father of the missing child. In the end, I just didn't like her much :( These were some things that didn't work for me, but for those that love a heart-pounding plot, this will fit the bill! Thank you NetGalley and publishers for providing a digital ARC for review.

This bark was pretty dark which I didn’t expect but it was also very well written. The pov was also very interesting as it was the daughter of a killer. Awesome dark read.

Can't believe it took me this long to pick this up and read it , while I like the twists and the flow of the story there was times it felt a little slow but I think that while it did feel like that ,it helped the pace of the story , as for the characters themselves, I just could find anything about them to like. But the one thing I did like was how the story was wrote , in such aqay that its very thoroughly in the detail of the the crimes that are committed to the point it makes you feel like your actual seen them been committed.

I wanted to love this one. But unfortunately, this one did not work out for me and I DNF’d it. The story was too slow and fizzle out and I figured something out rather quickly. This might be a great book for someone just starting out with thrillers.

Overall: I really liked the premise and idea of the book but foreseeable twists, annoying characters and extremely slow, boring pace made me cut my points. I’m rounding up 2.5 stars to 3! The book has so much potential and I wish I could enjoy it more! But it stayed at Switzerland territory- neither hate it nor like it!

I was unable to download this audiobook in time as I didn't realize it was on my shelf. It was archived too quickly from the time I requested it.

"Little Bones" by N V Peakcock is a One of A Kind book. It was amazingly unique in it's own kind of way. Just as the title states, "Little Bones" is focused on a crime committed in which the bones of the human skeleton are used in a criminal case to put a murderer behind bars. I chose to read this book because the TV series BONES is my favorite TV show and when I saw the title of this book, I just knew, somewhere in this book, bones of the human body would be a main topic of discussion. The book is very thoroughly in detail on the crimes that are committed. to where as you read the description, it's as if you are inside the book

Little Bones is a chilling read that will have you on the edge of your seat. Perfect for readers who enjoy true crime and suspense. I agree with other reviewers that the middle of the book was a little slow but it did help build the plot.

Thank you to NetGalley, Author NV Peacock, and Avon Books UK for allowing me to read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion.

Leigh Anne has changed her name to Cherrie when she hit adulthood. Her father was a serial killer who abducted boys, then used their bones to sculpt. He used Leigh Anne to help him with his abductions, so he was called Mr. Bones and she was Little Bones. She has buried this past life along with her name change, when a true crime podcast outs her. Chaos in her life ensues.

The writing in this book kept my attention and the story line was interesting. But in all honesty, I am not a fan of super dark plots and unlikeable main characters. For this reason, this really wasn't the book for me. I am going to give it 3.5 for being very readable.

I enjoyed this one though I did find it to be slightly slow at times. The story centres on Cherrie Forrester a mother who lives with her boyfriend Leo and their eight-year-old son Robin. Cherrie likes the normality and mundaneness of her life especially considering her Rocky beginnings until everything changes for her when her son Robin goes missing at a local fair.

Suddenly Cherrie is once again thrown into the spotlight her past blown wide open with Robins abduction and also the attentions of a local podcaster who has discovered her secret past and is stirring up hatred and trouble. Cherrie is actually the daughter of a notorious serial killer monikered Mister Bones. Nicknamed Little Bones by the media at the time Cherrie who was formally known as Leigh-Ann Hendy was naively complicit in her father's crimes just eight at the time she innocently assisted her father in the abductions and his grisly art.

This then had Cherrie going rogue in the search for her son there was also a few red herrings thrown in for good measure. This also had me questioning quite a few individuals during the course of this The boyfriend, the grandmother even one of Cherrie’s new friends they were all under suspicion. I did manage to call it right in the end but it wasn’t until other possibilities were eliminated that I knew for sure. Overall I found this an intriguing enough psychological thriller and it was well written. I voluntary reviewed a copy of little Bones.
