This is my first book by this author and by the time it ended I loved it BUT I had some major issues with the beginning and middle of this story. I liked the two main characters a lot. Rhett and Cassie meet when she has a car accident with him and he saves her from her car blowing up. He then hires her to be his assistant and she ends up moving to his home to work with him.

They form a work relationship and both end up falling for each other. But this was my issue with this story, Rhett doesn't know how she feels about him and so he keeps his super model girl friend aroound and he continues to let her run his house and have sex with hiim while he claims to be in love with Cassie.. He is really using Randi for sex and she is a little crazy but he keeps having sex with her while claiming to love Cassie. It was so gross!!! It made him this jerk and I felt Cassie could do so much better. I actually was rooting for Rhett's best friend to end up with Cassie until he ends up with someone else. All this is still happening until 60 percent of the book. Then the girlfriend goes away and he wants them to be on the down low untl he can break up with her. UGH so I hated this part of the story,

They finally get together and thats when I really liked this story. When the story ends I really ended up loving it but the whole girlfriend and Randi thing really made it hard for me to recommend.

It was an ok story for me. The first few chapters were fun but then it dragged in the middle and I ended skipping ahead.

My first Alexa Aston book. It was a cute sweet slow romance. Rhett and Cassie are cute. Their story is sweet. Nothing too crazy. Just ok.

This book was just ok to me. It was a nice read low steam and not to much action like I said just ok for me! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
