This was a nice story but unfortunately the title was a lie.
Magic and science certainly did not collide.
There was far more magic and fantasy with the science really just thrown in as a side show.
Disappointing in that respect.

I was given a copy of this book for review.

The premise caught my attention. a lord of the rings styled world that meets space opera. The issue of always using the titles for all characters was an annoyance. example, Red knight of the realm Thomas over and over, was too much. This is just an example, the real name of the character and title are different.

Otherwise, the book was enjoyable and fast-paced. I had never come across a book written with these two themes used togther.
