Fool's Run by Sidney Williams is a superb read! It is an engrossing page turner of a read well worth the time spent

I like this book because it's well written in a tough language, the pace is very good, there are twists and thrills, and it's fast and easy to read. The characters are easy to believe, and the plot is basic, but good.
I've read an ARC with some errors, like the main macho crook having a female name, and I hope these will be corrected.

The first book of what I assume will be a series, this is a solid, entertaining thriller. The hero is likable, with a nice assortment of strengths and flaws, and his crew is engaging. Good action sequences, a New Orleans setting, a plot with a number of twists, and a mastermind villain who will almost surely show up in future stories. There is a tease that slavic pagan magic might be involved to some degree; I suspect this will be brought forward in later books.

I will read more of these as they come out.

Great book. I enjoyed seeing what would happen next while rooting for his group of friends and for them to find the girls. My first book by this author but definitely not my last.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
