I received a copy of "A Timeless Christmas" from Dreamscape Media and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and it was a cute little romance set around the holiday season. I quite enjoyed the book as it was a light-hearted, warm, story about enjoying Christmas and your Loved ones.

The main characters are Megan Turner and Charles Whitley. Megan is a historian who loves everything from the 19th century. She works at the mansion of Charles Whitley as a tour guide. Charles is an inventor from 1902 and when he unexpectedly time travels into modern day he realizes that his legacy has continued to live on throughout the years.

Megan and Charles quickly become acquainted with one another while he marvels at the technology of today. As Charles prepares to travel back to 1902 Megan convinces him to take in some of the joys of Christmas. Once they start to develop feelings for one another, Charles must decide whether or not he wants to return to 1902 or stay in modern day with Megan, and his new friends.

"A Timeless Christmas" is the perfect book for a cozy afternoon inside out of the cold of winter. For readers who enjoy "Hallmark" romances, it's a must read.

A great audiobook to accompany any reader during the holiday season as they shop, wrap and do their holiday things. Megan is an aspiring history professor and until that dream is realized she is working at a museum/historical home as a reenactor. The home was owned by an inventor who disappeared in 1902 and just maybe that inventor has ended up entering 2018!

This book could have taken place at any time of the year, but it had some extra value when it revolved around a Christmas party that Mr. Whitley avoided in 1902 and just may be the reason that he jumped in time. I loved imagining this beautiful home decorated for the holidays and the staff in 2018 creating a magical moment for visitors to experience a historical Christmas season - makes me remember my childhood visits to Williamsburg, VA!

The narrator did a great job of changing her voice to fit the characters and I appreciated that she personalized the voices to mimic how the characters would probably sound like. I don't listen to fiction often on audiobook, but I will make down this narrator as someone I would love to listen to again in the future.

I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Since I've seen the movie before diving into this little holiday gem, I knew I was going to fall in love with the entire story. There was just something about the Christmas magic that made these two come together.

In it, you will meet Megan and Charles. She is a historical reenactor at the Whitley-Moran museum. Charles is the man who disappeared.. only to appear in Megan's timeline wondering why people were in his house. Long story short, they all though he was the new actor and then they let him join in one the tour.

Honestly, these two were really cute. It didn't matter to me that he wasn't in his correct time zone thing because he ended up finding his true love in this one. Of course, that didn't stop him from trying to go back home.. but we all knew that wasn't going to happen one bit.

In the end, loved this book and now I want to re-watch the movie!

Megan works as a tour guide for the Whitley historical mansion. Charles Whitley was an inventor back in the early 1900’s. After he fixes a clock he time travels unexpectedly to present time where Megan is working.

This was the cutest Christmas story I’ve read in a long time. I loved it. All the characters were great! I loved the time travel aspect and it added a lot of humour to the story. Overall it was a sweet story with lots of holiday cheer. I highly recommend to everyone who enjoys romance and the holidays.

Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for providing me with this audiobook for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

This is such a cute story at Christmas time! I actually had seen this movie on the Hallmark channel before listening to this copy, and it made it come alive so much more!! I still loved it just as much as the movie. Thank you for letting me listen to it!

Unfortunately I DNFed this audiobook at 70%.

I just didn’t care! The characters had very little personality besides their jobs. And I don’t think I’m a fan of the time travel trope.

I also understand that this is a romance book and the characters are meant to fall in love, but there was no lead up to the falling in love for the main female character. She was infatuated with the idea of him from the past, and basically fell in love at first sight. That didn’t sit well with me.

I gave this audiobook 2 stars because I didn’t finish the book but I still enjoyed parts of the story.

I received this audiobook from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Very charming! The story was original and unique. I felt like it dragged a little bit at the end but probably cuz I was eager for the happily ever after 😉. I can't wait for this novel to become a movie!!!

This was a cute little historical romance. While a historical romance is typically a time piece, this was more centered on time travel.
Megan works in her local museum centered on inventor Charles Whitley, who went missing in1902.
Charles returns home one night close to Christmas in 1902 and looks at gift he bought abroad for his fiancee Eliza when he suddenly finds himself in 2018.
As Megan helps Charles acclimate to 2018, the other employees at the museum want to help Charles return to his own time, as Megan realizes she has developed feelings.
While I love a great Hallmark movie, this one left me with an ending I did NOT see coming!

A Timeless Christmas by Alexis Stanton – Narrated by Kate Rudd
A really charming audiobook about two people from two different centuries. Meg Turner works for a home that was turned into a museum, or part of it was. She meets a man, Charles Whitley, from the past who suddenly turns up, he was the owner of the house. He had it in his will that if he died, the house, at least part of it was to be turned into a museum. He liked to work on clocks, while working on one he was suddenly in his home but it was decorated for Christmas and strangers were walking through it with a tour guide. Meg and the others who work in the home, seemed to accept his getting thrown into the future fairly readily. That was kind of strange to me. Although the rest of the story was basically a pretty enchanting Christmas story, with a bit of time travel thrown in. I did like the narrator, she moved along at a good pace and I liked her voice, she did assign a different voice for the man in the story, the rest she read in her regular voice. It worked. I enjoyed being able to go about my chores in the house and still be able to read a book. This was my first audiobook and I really enjoyed it.

I received this audiobook from NetGalley.com, my thoughts on this book are my own and are freely given. #ATimelessChristmas. #NetGalley.

Description as found on NetGalley.com:
Soon to be a Hallmark Original Movie!
They’re from two different centuries, but they’re perfect for each other.
Megan Turner is in love with the past. As a tour guide at a beautiful historic mansion, she tells visitors about its original owner, Charles Whitley. An inventor and businessman in the early 1900s, he rose from poverty to wealth…only to disappear without a trace. Charles was always intrigued by the future. He just never expected to go there. But when he repairs a mysterious clock he bought on his travels, he’s transported to the twenty-first century, with his home decorated for Christmas and overrun by strangers. Charles is determined to find a way back to his own era, especially when he learns about what happened after he left. But as Megan introduces him to the wonders of smartphones, pizza, and modern holiday traditions, they both feel a once-in-a-lifetime connection. Could it be that, somewhere in time, they belong together? This magical holiday romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Stuffed Crust Italian Pizza.

Thank you to @dreamscape_media @hallmarkpublish and @netgalley for the ALC of A Timeless Christmas by Alexis Stanton and narrated by Kate Rudd. This book was everything you look for in a Hallmark Christmas special with the added bonus of time travel! It was sweet and fun and definitely all about melting even the non cheery hearts to being open to the Christmas spirit. The narration was very well done and gave each character individual voice and dimension.⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This was a cute premise and I can sometimes suspend my disbelief for time-travel novels.

In 1902 Charles Whitley is an up and coming businessman and steel magnate who "disappears" a week before Christmas. In present day (2018) Megan Turner is a historical tour guide of the old Whitley Manor. She has always had a secret crush on Mr. Whitley so when the two come face to face there are some sparks.

I must admit that this was a cheesy book but sweet. The romance lacked a bit for me..there was not much of a build-up but it is Hallmark after all. I enjoyed the historical aspects and the Christmas scenes were cute.

I listened to this book and the narrator had a sweet and delightful voice. Perfect for the story. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming movie. This might be one time where I will actually enjoy the movie more than the book.

I'd like to kindly thank NetGalley and Dreamscape Media/ Hallmark Publishing for granting me access to this Audiobook.

I received a free copy of this audiobook to review through Netgalley. This was very silly. And that's okay. I wanted something to destress on my walks and while running errands or doing housework and it fit the bill. It was very sweet, very chaste, and had a happy ending. I was prepared for a somewhat "cheesy" Christmas romance. I was not prepared for time travel, so I feel compelled to mention that there is time travel that we're just expected not to question too much. It's fine, I woudn't have chosen a "time travel romance" but I know it's a genre that a lot of people enjoy. Would I have paid money for this book if I hadn't received a review copy? I don't think so. But as it was it certainly suited the purpose for which it was intended - something light and fun and Christmassy with an "historic home setting" thrown in.

A sweet story about a man who travels from 1902 to the present day to discover his home has been decorated for Christmas and turned into a museum with strangers walking about. Charles Whitley was a man ahead of his time in 1902. A wealthy and successful businessman and inventor, he made his mark on the world in 1902, lives in a beautiful mansion he designed and has a fiancée that he keeps at arm’s length. Upon returning from a trip to Paris, he begins working on a clock and in the blink of an eye is transported to the 21st century.

He meets the staff that run the museum that used to be his home and despite the amazing changes he has seen and the attraction he feels for Megan Turner, the historian who reenacts the role of his housekeeper, Rosie, he is determined to return to his own time to live the life he was meant to have before he disappeared.

Megan loves her job at the museum and loves history. Her dream is to teach history at the university. The last person she ever expects is to meet the real Charles Whitley in his study, newly arrived from 1902 and quite annoyed at the intrusion of strangers in his home.

This story was a very quick read. Charles adapts exceedingly well to his surroundings but when he learns what has transpired since he left his time, he is determined to go back. Megan and the rest of the staff at the museum easily suspend disbelief and accept Charles assertions that he is THE Charles Whitley. In the present day, he learns to let his hair down a little bit and enjoy the festivities of the holiday. I had a little bit of an issue how Megan bought him a cell phone, food and personal care items and loaned him a bunch of her brother’s clothes without really knowing him, but since it’s Christmas and she’s moved by the spirit of giving, I can accept it. Charles is a true gentleman throughout the story and though their attraction to one another is plain to see by everyone around them, they never get past the hugging stage.

I really enjoyed this story and thought Charles and Megan were fantastic characters, well written and easy to relate to. I recommend this book to readers who love time travel and Christmas themes but also readers who are looking for something sweet to add to the flavor of the holiday.

I just loved this story. Anything with time travel and fated love gets me every single time. And let's be honest, Zoe/Eva/Alexis does, too.

A Timeless Christmas by Alexis Stanton (audio version) is a sweet, clean read. The lovely cover is perfect for all that lies within: time travel, mystery, romance and Christmas! This book is now a Hallmark Christmas Movie!

Such a fun holiday read, the main male character, Charles was orphaned early on and that deeply affected how he viewed life. Much like Scrooge, Charles lost sight of living his life instead of working throughout his life. Nothing was allowed to interfere with his work, not even his fiancee. As he is repairing a clock. Charles is swept from 1902 into 2018--still in his mansion, which is now a museum. Let the fun begin as Megan guides a tour through the den at that very moment. Both characters are in for some life lessons and home truths. A delightful, uplifting Christmas read.
I loved the audio version of this book. Katie Rudd did an excellent job with the narration for this book. bringing the heartfelt emotions of the characters to life , adding to the enjoyment factor of this read.

History buff meets man from the past...what more you could ask for??

I don't normally read books that take place in current times, but since it was written by one of my favorite authors and involved time travel (so a historical aspect), I decided to pick it up. I really enjoyed it. Plus Hallmark just made an adaptation of it for tv! I have to say, I enjoyed the book version better.

A TIMELESS CHRISTMAS was sent to me by Net Galley, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
Dreamscape Media published this fiction Christmas novel. They sent me the audiobook, but it does come in book form. The narrator is Kate Rudd. She did a great job. She even did the male parts well.
When I first started listening to this book I didn’t think I’d like it. But, as I listened, I didn’t want it to end! Each character is describe in such a way that I can almost see them.
We begin in a beautiful century old mansion, where actors are reenacting the life of Charles Whitley. He’s was the original owner, and left it to the town. He specified that he wanted it to be preserved to the original state. As the actors were reenacting and touring the mansion, they entered the study and Charles Whitley, himself, was there. Everyone believes that he is just another actor, until a little girl recognizes him. Something he says, another actor couldn’t know. We get to follow his journey to learn how to navigate this century. We get to see how he goes about getting home. It’s quite fun!
You need to read this book! It was so fun to see the differences between the centuries. It was also fun to see alI the time travel stuff. I really recommend it!

I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Megan Turner loves the past, including her job working as a tour guide at a historic mansion, telling visitors about the man who built it, Charles Whitley. She even secretly harbors a crush on him. An inventor, Whitley was a self-made man who disappeared without a trace in 1902. Charles was always intrigued by the future but never thought he would get the chance to visit it. While repairing a clock in his home one evening, he is transported into the 21st century. Megan helps Charles acclimate to the 21st century, but all he can think about is getting back to his own time, especially when he learns what happened after he left. Still, in their days together, Megan and Charles grow to care for each other. Maybe they can find that they can belong together...

The audiobook I received stated that this book was being made into a movie by the Hallmark Channel in 2020. I can definitely see why! A Timeless Christmas ticks all the boxes of sappy, sweet, holiday cheer you would expect from a Hallmark Christmas movie. The writing was occasionally a little too saccharine for me, and for me the narrator added to that feeling, but overall it was a cute story.
