WOW WOW WOW! I was not expecting so much! This is the first book I've read by this author but it will not be my last.

The main character messed up as a teen, but she's out of prison and wants to move on with her life and indulge on all of the things she missed out on. She is likable and you want her to have happiness.

But not everyone is willing to let go of her past. And with her status of ex-con she's treated less than human by those too happy to exploit her.

There were twists and turns and trouble all great characteristics of an action packed thriller.

Jess and Karla are working together at Brights Laundry Service. Jess case manager Barry gets her the job with a criminal record its not an ideal job but it brings in money and pays her rent. the book is set in Croydon after four year in HMP Bronzefield for killing Eddie Watts and now living in a bedsit a converted garage owned by her sisters boss Stuart as a graphic designer its was a palace compare to her cell. she so misses her family especially her mum and wants to contact her but her sister Helen tells her a pack of lies that surface as you read. Terry Bright rules his staff he abused his position and takes advantage of vulnerable women. Ashley her best friend from her childhood is now having a new life away in another town what happened four years ago between the two and Eddie Watts? This is a harrowing read and will make your skin crawl as you read, and it had me gripped right into the story I was sorry to see the end. excellent read right through

Oh she has done it again! Another absolute scorcher of a book! I have not been able to put this down and stayed up far too late reading it. Thank goodness I am on a course this morning to hide how tired I feel. I am also slightly worried that my review will not do this book justice at all.

>It's no secret that I am a huge fan of Gemma's. I know that these are books that I will enjoy, so obviously I was going to jump on this blog tour. I haven't been disappointed! This is definitely making the top books I've read this year.

I love main character Jess, I have found her likeable and the type of character that would fit into my friendship group easily. I have not been suspicious of the other girls in this one initially, however, this has changed as events have developed.

Dan is one of my favourites in this book, I could easily imagine his carried played by someone like Gary Lucy. He has been genuine, non-judgemental and that source of good that every book needs.

This is definitely unique to any other book i've read and as with all of Gemma's books- I have adored this one. I really have found this impossible to put down. I have now read all of Gemma's books and I am already eagerly anticipating the next one- even though this one has not actually been published yet (*Review Written in November- publication date listed earlier).

This is without a hesitation of a doubt a five star read which I highly recommend.

Public review to follow 19th Jan as part of the blog tour.
