Raw passion and delectable characters! With the second book in her Follow Me series Helen Hardt once again takes us into the world of Skye and Braden and the journey is delightful! The intensity of their relationship is high and the passion is on fire. I missed some of the depth to the plot that the first book had outside of the bedroom, but overall I enjoyed the continuation of their story. I'm looking forward to book three!

Skye keeps her down to earth attitude even though fame is knocking on her door. She tries to juggle all of the aspects of her life now that she's part of Braden's world, but she keeps dropping balls and trying to figure out what place she really holds in every situation.

Braden is intense and sultry. He might have opened a door that even he's not ready for when the hunted becomes the prey.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a dominant man showing his new love the way into the world he enjoys.

This was an other great read as we learn more about Brandon and skye, she slowly is peeling away the layers of them separately and together. It's hot, sexy, funny and has you turning page after page begging for more! Yet an other amazing book and series. A must read!

This is the second book in the Follow Me Darkly series and it is best to read this after reading Follow Me Darkly in order to enjoy this couple's overall journey.

Their relationship is established and being Braden's girlfriend is bringing many opportunities for Skye. She's also experiencing a little bit of imposter syndrome. Like the only reason, companies want to work with her is because of her relationship. Run-ins with her former boss feed into her insecurities and the things Braden won't share regarding that relationship. While Braden is struggling with the feelings Skye has stirred in him. He also awakened something dark in Skye. 

The STEAM is still there and I can't wait to see what comes next for this couple in book three. So if you enjoy erotic romance you should grab this series.

This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order.  Skye is enjoying the new world available to her now that she is dating Boston billionaire Braden Black.  Neither were expecting such an intense relationship or any relationship at all.  Braden loves to dominate her but Skye but can she trust him with the secrets he is keeping from his past relationships?  Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense, steam and emotion.  Great characters with lots of depth and a story that really draws you in.  I liked it.

*sigh* the story of Skye and Braden has lost a bit of its spark with this installment for me. The reason, I honestly don’t think they moved forward in their journey and quite possibly, maybe took a few steps back. I don’t quite know how to explain this without giving you plot points that would spoil the story for you, so this might be vague, *shrug* but here goes …

A relationship and/or person cannot be trusted if there’s no transparency. Allowing someone to believe you are being transparent while you are not, is a really bad thing to do. Someone in this journey is not being transparent and I’m losing faith in the story because of it. Both Braden and Skye behaved in a way that doesn’t really mesh with what I know to be true of the kind of relationship they are portraying. I paused a lot during my reading because I was frustrated with a lot of the story. I’m invested, of course, and I will see their journey thru till the end, but this installment took a drastic nosedive from the first one for me and I’m a little bit sad about that.

I’ve read quite a few books by Helen so I’m not too worried about the story leaving me with questions in the end, so there’s that to look forward to. I do appreciate the level of sexual intensity in the story was kept exceedingly high, which is a pattern set in the first book. So, yeah, this wasn’t my favorite book, but I haven’t lost complete faith in this journey!

The second book in Braden and Skye's story kept me engaged beginning to end. Even though they are in different territory with there relationship some ways are still the same, Braden still wants total control of her without giving up his secrets in return and even though Skye is trying to find her voice she’s also at a standstill realizing that what she does control is just a smokescreen. The doors that have opened for her she only gives the credit to Braden not herself and it’s weighing on her. Can’t wait for the next one

Before you dive into this one you definitely need to read book one. Book two picks up right where the first left off, diving right into the plot. I am a bit torn on this one with the character development even though I enjoyed the steam and the plot progress. Skye was on the naïve side in the first novel and she seemed to grow into herself a bit by the end. I was hoping it would lead more into her growth and owning her sexual identity and prowess.  However, she lost more of herself in this book than I expected. She pushed aside friends and harbored anger, insecurities and drama like a hoarder. Maybe it was the purpose of this novel to break her down to this level. Maybe the author wanted to paint this lopsided agreement of trust and giving one’s self to someone. Just maybe what we all think the ending will be won’t be that at all. Just maybe… and you know what? I really like maybes in my books. 

I was truly hoping she would embrace trust and move deeper with Braden into his dark world of pleasure. One out of two isn’t bad though and we can’t have trilogies if everything ran smoothly. My one true frustration lies with the secrecy. Though Braden is no angel in this odd relationship of give and don’t receive unless I allow it, Skye still continues to harp on and drag out the issue of his past relationship with her ex-boss. I’m not even in this relationship and she is driving me a bit nuts with it. Plus, some of the not so brilliant ideas she acted on. However, let’s not forget to mention the secrecy of Braden. He’s closed tighter than a Chick-Fil-A on Sunday. How do two people in the BDSM world hold a relationship together if they can’t trust each other? Well readers, I think that is the million-dollar question and the reason why I am super ready for book three! 

I have thoroughly enjoyed this break away from my other reads with book two and I love Hardt’s way with all things hot and bothered. In book 2 of the Follow Me series, Skye’s life is changing and she feels like a fraud. Her billionaire boyfriend, Braden Black, has opened the door for her as a social media influencer and a new businesswoman, but at what cost to her own identity and self-confidence? Braden controls her in the bedroom, but who has control over her life? She doesn’t know who she is anymore.

I am a big fan of dark romances with alpha males, but Braden has rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning in Follow Me Darkly. His selfishness and demands of trust in and out of the bedroom are not okay and I feel for Skye when she feels lost. I can understand her feelings of inadequacy when everyone around her only sees her as the billionaire’s girlfriend and then her best friend Tessa wants to take a break from her because of who she is perceived to be now. How can anyone not get lost in the penthouses, the private jets, and the social media influencing frenzy?

Braden has dark secrets that he won’t tell her and though Skye opens up to him, shouldn’t he do the same if he wants her to trust him? I have to admit it is good to meet Braden’s brother and father, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. There are some things not being said about his mother that seem ominous. In addition, Braden won’t say what happened with Skye’s former boss, Addison Adams.

Though Skye wants to be worthy of the man she loves with all her heart, I think Braden should take a long look and consider if he is worthy of her. But first Skye has to deal with something dark that is taking her over.

I recommend this sensual erotic romance that challenges what one sees as normal and what opens the dark side of the psyche that ends in loss and a stunning cliffhanger.  I’m desperate to read book 3 which doesn’t come out until May. Sob!

However, Skye is struggling with Braden's history with her ex-boss Addison. She has a whole lot of self doubt that she needs to work through. As the story unfolds, even more questions about Braden's past surface and the more mysterious he gets. Will these two be able to make it work? Will Skye move past her self doubt? Or will it ruin her chance at being with the love of her life? What are these secrets that Braden has hidden? 


Gah, I need to know more! I need to book 3 now! I NEED ANSWERS!
This story has grabbed hold of me. It has my emotions on overdrive, has me swooning like crazy and has me needing to know more about Braden! The author has created a love story that I can't get enough of. It's full of mystery, suspense, passion and heat.. oh so much heat!

As Skye is building her name and business Braden is taking her down a dark tunnel of erotic sexual play. Just as Skye is beginning to understand and embrace Braden and like the way he likes being "entertained" he surprises her with a hard limit. With her relationship hanging in the balance how will she ever get back to normal life or is she forever changed?
I love the way Helen Hardt writes about this amazing women who really is strong and independent. Even though Braden has a way of making her drop to her knees and do anything he wants she is still a stronger women than she believes. It will be up to her to learn she has the ability to make it on her own and she may not even have that choice anymore?

I have been dying to get my hands on this book after finishing the first and oh my stars, Hardt did not disappoint. I think what I am loving about it is the whole what will happen or secret will come out next. Braden is a deep character that is so twisty turvy that he keeps you on your toes the whole time. With Skye, I adored seeing her character grow as a whole. But these two together, holy spicy batman!
Overall, this was a great second installment. If you have not touched the first book, turn around, go read it before you touch this one. They start up back to back to each other and honestly, you NEED it in your life. I can say that this one has left me wanting more so I cannot wait to get my hands on the third book and get all those answers I am wanting!

Braden never expected to fall in love with Skye but now that he has he wants to know all of her secrets and while he is sharing a few of his own he is still holding a few back.   He thrives on being in charge and all he wants to do is protect her but she is a wild card that stymies him as she doesn’t always react as expected.

Skye is floundering as she doesn’t feel she is meeting anyone’s expectations, either personally or professionally, and that includes her own.    She loves Braden and the lifestyle he has shown her but somewhere along the way her assertiveness has changed to uncertainty.

The chemistry between Braden and Skye was never the problem and now we just need to wait until the next book in the series to see if they can overcome the other obstacles standing in their way.

After the cliffhanger in book 1 Follow Me Darkly, I couldn’t wait for this installment and indeed I was not disappointed!
Even hotter, darker and more twisted this read surpassed my expectations!
First off this book cannot be read as a standalone. In this installment, Skye and Braden’s story developed even more revealing some secrets and creating some more.
Well paced, intense and simply seductive, this read was a real page turner!
What I loved the most about this book was that there were elements of  Braden’s character that were too mysterious and underdeveloped. In this installment, the author took great care in giving more insight about him and we get a sense of why he’s so mysterious. His lack of transparency and his demands for Skye made this story even more intriguing.
Then the author makes a big reveal at the end book that had me anxiously anticipating what book 3 will bring!
4.5 stars!

Follow me Under is book 2 in a series, and Follow me Darkly must be read first, as this story picks up right where it left of. 

Braden and Skye continue to bring sizzling chemistry that jumps off the pages. Their sexual relationship is of BDSM nature, but I would qualify it on the lighter side (no hard core stuff). As their relationship progresses and they continue to explore and play, so does the push/pull, give/take dynamic, which comes with figuring out if you truly trust the other person, not only with your body but with your mind as well. 

In book one, I thought Skye held her ground really well and pushed back on Braden, since giving up control outside the bedroom was a non-starter for her. In Follow me Under I found her to be easing up quite a bit. She lost some of that fire as she tries to navigate her relationship with Braden. On the other hand, I also understood that. She is only 24 years old, and honestly I would freak out too and feel insecure at times. I’m glad we get to see what goes on in her head as she is processing and learning. 

Now moving on to Braden. He is still controlling, hot and mysterious man just as he was in the first book. We did get to peel some of has layers, but there is more to discover. One bone I really need to pick with him is around the premise of trust. I struggled with his need to keep some things to himself, but also asking Skye to trust him. I get like he was always holiding back. 

Overall awesome read, and fun to follow as they further explore bdsm physical aspect of their relationship. Of course, as this is a trilogy you are left with questions and wanting more. So if you hate cliffhangers, wait for the full series to come out. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Book Two in the Follow Me series. Well that was a spicy sexy page turner! Skye is still trying to fumble her way around being the next best social media influencer. While trying to figure out what really happened between her new boyfriend Braden and old boss Addison. Let’s not forget trying to balance friendships and family with the demands of Braden mixed into the layers of drama. I enjoyed reading the second book as much as the first book. Baden is very mysterious but trying to open up to Skye the best way he can. You can truly tell he loves her but doesn’t know how to let her in all the way. The next book can not come fast enough for me. I need To see where these two go next!

Holy Hotness Batman! This story takes Skye deeper into the world of BDSM which Braden enjoys and Skye finally realizes what she has been missing all this time. The sensuality and deep connection that it evokes from her is something that she craves, but how far is she willing to go to please Braden.

Skye's career as an social media influencer is taking off but at what cost? She's feeling as if she is only wanted because she is the girlfriend of Billionaire Braden Black. Is that a bad thing? Is she selling herself short? Only time will tell.

Braden and Skye's relationship is getting deeper, but while they are in love Braden is still holding himself back. He's like an onion you have to peel the layers back to get to the center and with Braden you just don't know how many layers there are or what you will find once you get there. But what I do know is that he has a habit of pushing Skye away whenever things get to close to his past so I am really wondering what skeleton is in his closet. There was one point where I thought I had it figured out but we haven't been clued in yet so I will have to wait until more layers are peeled away in Follow Me Always which is due out in May.

If you enjoy Dark Romance, BDSM Romances, or are looking for a Hot Steamy Read this is the trilogy for you. but you need to read the books in the order of release because FOLLOW ME UNDER picks up right where Follow Me Darkly ended, so be sure to read that book first.

An addictive & captivating read

FOLLOW ME UNDER, book #2 in Helen Hardt's Follow Me Series, was so much darker, sexier and delved to a depth that Follow Me Darkly only scraped. Ms. Hardt pushed many limits with her book, her characters, her words, the emotions which she was able to elicit were staggering. This was an addictive, captivating read, mesmerising to the point I was unable to put it down.

Braden Black and Skye Manning's story continues from where book #1 concluded. This time Ms. Hardt gives a darker more sensual instalment that completely blew my mind. It is an exploration of their relationship, the soft and hard limits they both have. honesty and trust are imperative for Braden, he demands both from Skye, yet he is reluctant to answer questions Skye has for him. Their relationship is an intriguing one, both seeking control, yet there is a large amount of giving in by both.

Throughout this book, both Braden and Skye find themselves on a journey. Skye begins to question who she really is, whether her own self is disappearing because she is Braden Black's girlfriend. She makes some interesting decisions, some good - some not so good. Braden on the other hand is evolving, he finds that the walls he has built are slowly starting to crumble, and his emotions are beginning to become involved. The revelation Braden makes toward the end of the book didn't really surprise me, however Skye's reaction definitely did ... especially her actions afterward.

FOLLOW ME UNDER was definitely a mindblowing and thought provoking read. I cannot wait for the next instalment, Follow Me Under, comes out.

This is the second book in the series.  You need to read the first book to understand what is going on here.
Skye, with gaining success, is feeling less sure of herself.  It seems that success stems more from who she is dating and less from who she is and what she can do.  The more Skye tries to grab ahold of her identity, the more her world spins out of control.
Braden is still in love with Skye.  However, his mysterious side is playing havoc on her insecurities. He has his business to run and doesn’t truly have time (or desire) to indulge her with her many questions and few requests.
Opinion
Holy mother of all cliffhangers!  Surely Ms. Hardt is trying to help keep the medical staff of the world busy by inducing heart attacks with her writing.  This book is an absolute must for those of you who like books more on the darker side.  I’m not quite sure how she manages it but she is the ring master of the book world with the way she can spin a tale.

Decadent, delicious, and dangerously addictive. Once you read the first page you won’t be able to put this down. You’ll be left sleep deprived but oh so satisfied. With pages of Braden and Skye under his every control and command. This was full of steamy, sex and hot, passion as they indulge in all of his secret desires. And Skye goes deeper than even Braden can imagine.

But Skye seems to becoming lost in her relationship with Braden as everything in her life is changing. Worried that what has happened in his past could leave her lost without him, as she starts to lose herself in his world of absolute trust and control. In her need to know the truth - in her need to control - Skye exhibited an utter lack of control. As Braden starts to open up even more to her will his love be able to save her from herself. 

Titillation so masterfully woven no reader can resist its pull. Waiting anxiously for the next in this series. A must buy series.

I loved book 1. I was so exited to see where their story went but this book was flat for me. There wasn’t much character growth and I felt like it was the same argument over and over. I was disappointed in these characters and tried to love it. I just couldn’t. Thank you Entangled publishing for a chance to read.
