This was an excellent book showing how being kind to others can start many new experiences. Lily has made a promise to her dad about trying to step out of her comfort zone. As she makes new friends in a new school, she slowly finds her voice over time. She realizes others may be fighting some kind of battle but finds she can help by being kind and being there for them. This book was so positive and so wonderful. Loved it.
