Free spirited Grace is in a real pickle. She needs to raise some money quickly. Sawyer is in Kingston for a reset and to salvage his reputation. This is an overall sweet story. The escapades with Bert, the dog, are hilarious. The characters are emotionally vulnerable and offer opportunities for becoming better human beings. I love that Grace is able to solve her own problems and not rely on a man to do so for her.

Thank you NetGalley, Entangled and Traci Hall for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
In this opposite-attract romance readers are introduced to Grace and Sawyer. Grace is a fun and free spirited photographer who never takes things too seriously and knows how to let loose. Sawyer is a rule following, closed off ex-military man who does not have time for games. Grace has been working extra jobs to make ends meet and winds up working as a temp for Sawyer whose ex has smeared his name. Their connection wasn’t instan’t and their slow burn romance leaves you reading faster just hoping they get there!
Was this cheesy at times? Yes. Was it a little unrealistic at times? Yes. Did the ending leave me wanting? Yes. BUT! Was this a solid romance read that left me satisfied and ready for my next book? YES! And that’s a win in my book!

Had a lot of promise but not a lot of chemistry or connection.

If you’re looking for a lighthearted read, this is one to check out. The author spins a tale about two unlikely people who not only live next-door to each other but also end up working with each other.

It’s definitely a spin on the opposites attract and falling for my next-door neighbor trope that proves to be a satisfying read. The author builds on that with their unique character development and descriptive locale.

I did have a little trouble with the connection between these two. While I really liked Sawyer and the fact that he knew he really liked Grace and had a good heart, but I had difficulty enjoying her character. She was overly dramatic and refused honest work when she seriously needed cash. Plus, I just didn’t feel that combustion between the two of them which is something I need in a romance.

The story is easy to read and definitely a sweet romance that is satisfying and enduring. I was looking for more passion in the writing and between the two characters so it just didn't grab me like I wanted.

*A big thank you to Entangled Publishing, Traci Hall and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review*

Just One Kiss is a funny, light hearted read which is nice to consume after a very heavy book. While light on substance, the characters are adorable and quirky and I loved that Sawyer was a Dog trainer.

Unfortunately, some things in this book missed the mark for me. I found Grace to be a little bit unbelievable in a way that she seemed to have zero common sense. She needs 30,000 to pay back taxes on her Grandmother's house but isn't really willing to to anything but take pictures and sell her photography. She is offered a full time job which she turns down as "not her thing" but not being able to save the house leaves her "devastated". Sawyer is a full time dog trainer/TV personality and it seems like he would be the last person she would be attracted to as he is cocky and a little rude, but she is, though to the reader there seems to be very little chemistry.

The wonderful things about this book were the dogs, the vets, all of the quirky characters including Sawyer's brothers, Lottie, Bill and of course, Bert!

3.5 stars

A cute, fun read that I would say is kind of an opposite attract type of romance. Grace and Sawyer are very different. He is a dog trainer from the big city who is well known for his program and the results he has gotten. She is a small town artistic free spirit who loves to take photographs.

I liked the two of them together and that they saw past the little personality clashes and differences they had. There were some sweet moments between them as they got to know each other better.

I did think, though, that there were just a little too many secondary plots with characters coming in and out. There were also a couple things that never got resolved by the end of the story that felt a little odd to leave hanging.

Just One Kiss, by Traci Hall, is a quick light read. It follows famous dog trainer Sawyer and free-spirited freelance photographer Grace as they pick their way through their various differences and individual issues.

Grace owes back taxes on the house she inherited from her grandmother. Sawyer has moved to town to open a dog training school for service dogs for veterans. His reason for the school is not entirely altruistic at first; he's trying to scramble back to the top after a disastrous breakup resulted in bad (and unfair) press. Grace accepts a one-month temp job at Sawyer's school. Inexplicably, she refuses his offer of full-time enjoyment in spite of owing 30k to the bank. (She's a free spirit. Permanent jobs aren't for her. Not even if it means saving the previous house that she has also claimed she'd do anything to save. Aaarrrgh. I had a hard time getting past this stupid decision.)

The story is okay, but it is choppy at times. The characters are likeable if not loveable. Sawyer is a bit of a tool sometimes, though he frequently admits his toolishness to himself right after. Grace is capricious, but she's also a stalwart friend. Perhaps my problem is that--apart from their romance-novel gorgeousness--they're too realistically flawed for me?

I'm the end, I liked the book well enough to ignore the blips and to root for our protagonists. It isn't one I feel the need to read twice though.

I gratefully received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!

If you are looking for a cute office/ somewhat forbidden romance, this is a great book! It is definitely a steamy read that has a great storyline throughout it. Overall a good read!

Grace and Sawyer meet when Sawyer and his dog ruin her photo shot. Soon she finds that not only is he her next doo neighbour, but also the boss at her new temp assignment. It's a case of opposites attract, but will they give each other a proper chance?

I liked how it is told from both of their points of view, and the chracters around them such as Sawyeers brothers, and Grace's friends.

Looking forward to more in this series.

This is a funny and sweet book that fans of the genre will enjoy. Grace is photographer who works temp jobs to keep herself afloat in between paying photography jobs. She ends up working for Sawyer, a famous dog trainer that's been smeared publicly by his ex-girlfriend. They're complete opposites, but keep being drawn together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, right up until the end. Unfortunately, the ending felt abrupt and unrealistic - especially since it took them a month to decide weather or not to date.

I enjoyed the characters and loved the focus on vets and dogs. I'm a fan of the author and have her on my must read authors' list. I'm sad to give this one just four stars.

I had high hopes, but this one just didn't work for me. Grace is seriously dramatic and jumps to conclusions far too much. And I'm not a fan of "we've been dating for 2 days, marry me I love you" plot lines. Y'all don't even know each other's full names, calm down.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed this title.

I received a copy of Just One Kiss by Traci Hall from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, this novel missed the mark for me. I felt that the plot should have been interesting given the story's summary, but the plot wasn't evenly paced and I didn't see the attraction between the main characters. To be more specific, I could not understand why the female protagonist, freelance photographer Grace Sheldon, would want to be with her leading man, Sawyer Rivera. He was just kind of a tool.

If you are a fan of Traci Hall you won't be disappointed with this book if you aren't a fan of hers yet you need to read this book and you will become a fan. The story line is great and the characters are fun. I enjoyed Grace and Lottie. Sawyer seems to good to be true and his brother Bobbie and Tomas are a lot of fun.

Check out this book you won't be disappointed

This is a cute read. Just a nice story to pass a few hours. For me a bit forgettable but I read lots of romance so you tend to compare a lot. I think many will like the story and the dog!

I received an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest voluntary review.

First off I'd like to thank NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to review this books. Unfortunately, this book just didn't vibe with me. Grace is a freelance photographer who recently inherited her grandmother's house and has a hefty amount of debt to her name. When she isn't a photographer, she takes on temporary jobs. That's how she starts working for Sawyer, a celebrity dog trainer, to help with opening his dog training facility. The one thing that baffled me was how he's apparently such as big deal as a dog trainer (?!) that he thought he was being stalked by Grace at first? I didn't buy it. And I just couldn't connect with the characters. I found them both bland and hard to connect with, and it become a chore to keep reading. I wanted to like it because the summary sounded cute, but it just didn't work with me.

This is definitely a story of opposites attract. Grace Sheldon is a freelance photographer who was raised in a commune. She has inherited her grandmother's house at the beach but she owes thirty thousand dollars in back taxes. She is facing foreclosure on the house and she doesn't know how she can come up with that much money in a short time. Sawyer Rivera is a celebrity dog trainer who has moved to town to open a dog training facility and who is not only Grace's new next-door neighbor but also her boss for a thirty day temp assignment. I enjoyed their clashes as they fell in love with each other. This was a fun and entertaining read.

The last couple of books that I've read haven't quite hit the mark and I've been hoping for something that would lift both my mood and my reading slump. Fortunately, Just One Kiss hit that mark for me. It was just the kind of book that I was looking for and once I started reading, I was glad that I'd made it my next choice.
Just One Kiss is a classic opposites-attract love story. Grace is a free-spirited, freelance photographer who doesn't let rules and routines restrict her. Sawyer is an ex-military man who does everything with precision. It takes them a little while to adjust to one another, but when they do, their opposite natures bring out the best in each other.
I enjoyed this fun little romance. I did think that Grace was a little bit over the top with some of her reactions and flys of the handle when stopping to talk to Sawyer might stop things from getting out of hand. It was only once or twice though, so it didn't really matter.
Overall this was a good read and just what I was in the mood for now.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is definitely a palate cleanser it was funny it had just enough romance it was just what i needed after an almost "shudder" book slump.

Meh. This book was just ok for me. It kept me engaged just enough. I really wasn’t a big fan of the hero, the heroine was much more likeable. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.
