The latest story in the Outlaw/Westmoreland series is wonderful. I enjoyed watching Cash and Brianna find a love for the ages. The unexpected twists and turns kept me reading to see what would happen next. Cash and his relatives continue to surprise throughout the entire story.
Brenda Jackson, the author, has done it again writing another book that gives you plenty of romance along with some mystery..
I highly recommend this book for all who enjoy romance, especially African-American romance.

This marriage of convenience novel was truly a joy to read! I found both Cash and Brianna to be layered characters that truly came together in a way that was magical and beautiful, despite everything moving so quickly. I love that the third act break up wasn't really a break up, and it was quickly resolved between the couple, and they move forward together to solve the true problem.
All in all, I continue to really enjoy the Brenda Jackson books that I pick up!

A simple deal turns into romance!

Cash wants nothing to do with the mother he feels abandoned him, so it's with great reluctance that he agrees to attend the reading of her will. There he meets Brianna, the only other person mentioned in the will, and he soon finds out that he's missing a few huge pieces of information about his family history.

I loved the way Cash knew instinctively what he wanted, and how he was willing to incorporate the advice of his brothers and cousins when deciding what to do about his inheritance. The relationship with Brianna was developed slowly in order to let us in on both of their motivations, and I really enjoyed reading about her dedication to the land and to Ellen's memory. The twist that setup the bargain they struck was nicely done, and I appreciated how that subject was handled respectfully when it could easily have gone the other way.

I was hoping for a bit more sophistication in the writing style, but the plot was engaging and I was very satisfied with their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Cash never knew his mother. From what his father has told him, she abandoned him and went to live on a Wyoming ranch. Upon her death, Cash inherits the ranch—or most of it. A hundred acres was left to Brianna, the daughter of the late caretakers. When Cash catches sight of Brianna, his determination to sell the ranch fades. He's never felt so drawn to a woman, and the feeling is mutual. They move forward together—until the truth about his mother, and his father's interference, come crashing down on them. Can their relationship survive?

As the title suggests, this is a marriage of convenience story, and Cash is a demanding man. Yet he respects and treasures Brianna, never breaking her gentle spirit. She's sweet and caring, a little starry-eyed at his attention. Overall, it's a tender and steamy read—a good choice the next time you go to the beach.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

It's always fun to check in on the Outlaw/Westmoreland clan. When the men finally meet women that challenge and excite them, they fall hard.

Cash is surprised when he learns the mother who abandoned him has died and he's summoned to a reading of her Will. He's shocked to find out he's inherited all but 100 acres of a massive dude ranch. The beautiful woman he saw the day he arrived is now the proud owner of those 100 acres, which includes the main water rights for all the land..

How they come to an agreement in regards to the water rights is the story, and it's a good one!

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

This was such a fun book! Sometimes you just need to read a Harlequin novel, because they literally give you every single romantic trope you love in JUST ONE BOOK.

So, The Marriage He Demands is about Cash and Brianna, two people who meet under very unusual circumstances. His estranged mother just died and in her will she left him part of her dude ranch, while the other half is left to Brianna. Cash is ready to make the dude ranch a sensation again but his family advises to get the other half. When he tells Brianna this, she has an offer: I'll give you my half if you give me your sperm.

OH MYGOD. YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT. Brianna really really wants a baby. So, you know, she does this. Cash is confused at first but he comes around to the idea. But he has an offer of his own. He wants to get married if he is giving a baby to Brianna. As you can notice, this is a romance books with marriage of convenience and a baby in the mix. Brianna and Cash really make this book very enjoyable.

It definitely has insta-love so if you're not into that then you shouldn't read it!

3.5/5 Stars

** I received this as an E-ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review, Thank you!**

I enjoyed this book, however, I will admit that I didn't really feel an emotional connection with the characters. The romance was cute and steamy, Their chemistry was ok, definitely felt more sexual than emotional. I enjoyed the plot well enough. Nothing really stood out to me. Overall it was cute, steamy, and easy to read.

Businessman Cash Outlaw learns he has inherited almost all of his late mother’s Wyoming ranch. Since she was never part of his life Cash has no desire to keep the ranch and plans to sell it. But his mother left part of the ranch to her former caretaker, Brianna Banks. Before he leaves after the reading of the will Brianna convinces Cash to let her give him a tour of the ranch. He may not be interested in keeping the ranch but he does have an interest in Brianna. After speaking to his brothers and Westmoreland cousins he rethinks the idea of selling the ranch.

Cash decides to keep the ranch open and presents Brianna with an offer. She accepts his offer if he will give her something that she wants. Once Cash gets over the shock of her request he makes her a counteroffer. In the end both will get what they want and more!
