Hilarious book for a great cause! I read this in one setting and laughed so hard. This is a much needed book in such a stressful time. I’ll definitely be purchasing multiple copies when this comes out!

Some of these were so funny and some just felt like people who think they are funny tweet. Give it 3/5 stars overall.

The premise of this book is great, especially considering the introduction goes into the history of haikus and how they were originally often comedic. All of these haikus were clever, however only a few made me laugh out loud. There is something for every sense of humor in here I believe, but it was a quick read and in total took about 15-20 minutes of my time. Could do with a bit more length and maybe a more clear theme but it was a satisfying quick read, no doubt.

This was a fun, light read, full of amusement and diversion. It brings haikus up to date, with comments on all matters of life and defecation (you thought I was going to say death, eh?). Book was relaxing and, yes, I would happily give this book to my friends who could use a lift. The introductions were very insightful, by the way. Who knew that haikus could be naughty and, perhaps, were designed to blow off steam (Know, her? I hardly met her!). So, if you are into an evening of robust humor, if you are not easily offended, if you, like the authors, delight in writing to specific format of 5/7/5, you'll enjoy this book. Or, to satirize one of the haikus found in the book:
Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes

See what a quick learner I am?
