Did not finish. This book initially sounded interesting but the execution of the book wasn't for me. I'm sure other people would enjoy though!

The relationships/friendships in this book were top notch and they jump right off the page. They felt very real to me. I loved the premise of her embarking on this mission to stop Keanu Reeves from getting married. It was fantastical and fun! I would read more from this author!

Unfortunately, this book was just not for me. The banter between the main characters and the Keanu Reeves references were the only thing that kept me going. The pacing and flow was off and the main character was extremely immature for her age.

This type of romance novel just isn't my cup of tea. The story was very predictable, which made it hard to read.

I had high hopes and unfortunately I was let down. The writing seemed meh to me and the story line just missed the mark. I really wanted to love this one. Maybe next time

Thank you to netgalley for providing an e-galley for review. How to Marry Keanu Reeves in 90 Days is a fun, funny and sarcastic novel. I appreciate that the characters are thriving, doing well and not in down and out circumstances that most diverse reads and artistic characters are put in. While romcoms are not my typical reads, this was fun and light and reminds us to look at what's right in front of us, we could be missing a great catch!

Honestly, I'm surprised by the negative reviews, many of which seem to focus on the "ridiculousness" or "unbelievability" of a 40+ woman lusting after Keanu Reeves. That's not the read that I got from this book at all...
On the surface, this book comes across as a simple "buddy road-trip" story. But there's so much more to it. At it's core, this is a book about how we process grief. And how grief and trauma manifest itself differently in each of us.
On top of that, I strongly urge anybody questioning Lu's choice to pick-up-and-go to ask themselves why they have such a problem with a 40-year-old woman letting loose... I think people are being a little too judgmental in their reviews, especially when it comes to Lu's "priorities". And I can't help but wonder if it all comes back to her age and the societal expectations we have for "women of a certain age"?
40 looks differently for everybody. I happened to enjoy Lu's zany, adventure-soaked version of 40.

This was a perfect rom-com and I felt like I could really see the whole thing play out in my head.
I think that this could have had just a little bit better writing....I didn't love the style and felt like the writing style was getting in the way of the story. This was the perfect refresh book I needed. It's nothin spectacular, but it's a good and cute read.

this was fine. not as much road trip as I wanted, friends to lovers that wasn't as believable as others, and while the Keanu Reeves title totally drew me in - I wanted more fun than was in it.

The audio of this book was excellent. What a fun friends to lovers romance. Loved the premise and the story.

Unfortunately this is a huge miss for me. Again, I should probably read synopsis' before requesting a book instead of just requesting because of a cover/book title. I listened to 10% of this book and after multiple eye rolls and cringe moments, I read the synopsis and knew I wouldn't be continuing. This was a DNF for me, but I'm sure it's a fun concept others will enjoy.

This book is definitely for cheesy rom-com fans! I love rom-coms, but unfortunately I did not like this book. I truly felt the main character did not develop enough within the book and the main story just felt long and drawn out.
However, the book definitely ticks all of the boxes of a classic romantic comedy. Lu lives and breathes anything Keanu Reeves and when she finds out he’s getting married in 90 days, she makes it her goal to have him call off his marriage and end up with her. However, she realizes in the end that her best friend who has been there for her all along may be more than a friend.
It just really felt drawn out and like there was no climax for me. However, I’ve heard such great reviews and I know whoever loves a good, funny, cheesy romantic comedy will like this book!

I read about 25% of this and I just don’t really like it. I rarely DNF books and I cannot connect with the characters. If Lu was a teenager, maybe this would have worked better, but nearing 40s is just embarrassing.

I really wanted to love this but I could not get into it. It was hard to read the friend group conversations because they bickered a lot. I felt no investment in the characters and did not find this book to be fun as the premise seemed unfortunately.

The description of the book sounded funny, light, and romantic. Sadly, I wasn't very far into the book when I knew this wouldn't be a book I could finish reading. The graphic sexual content was just too much for my personal taste.

This book is great! Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

This was cute! Funny but not my favorite. Still worth a read! I feel some people will LOVE this book!

This book unfortunately did not do it for me. It felt rushed and also pretty immature. I couldn't connect with the characters because of this.

Thank you so much for this amazing read, really enjoyable heart warming story of hope, love and healing, highly recommend.

DNF at 31%. I was hoping for a celebration of intense fandom, but the main character’s obsession with Keanu felt delusional and weird, and everyone in this book acted like it was okay for her to have a GIGANTIC meltdown and reorganize her life because a celebrity crush was engaged.
Now, I love me some Keanu Reeves, but sis, no.
I found the main character very unlikable. She’s from a wealthy family, “works” as an artist, and was a bit of a diva. The love interest felt like a doormat with savior tendencies. I typically love demanding heroines, but she just felt like a spoiled brat. Partly, this is an age problem. I just couldn’t believe any of these people were in their forties.
There’s a scene where the heroine goes to a sushi restaurant with an Asian guy, and I hated the way she expressed discomfort with Japanese food, while exoticizing the guy.
I thought this would be lighthearted and fun, but it just took too long to get to the best part of the book, the road trip, and I didn’t like the characters enough to stick around and watch them stalk an actor. I think someone more comfortable with real people fiction would’ve struggled less.
