A small town
Romantic shenanigans
And glue.

Maggie Jorgenson is a single, divorced mother of three who is having a difficult time trying to fix her personal and love life. For everything else inanimate she swears by the fixing power of Super Glue. She even glues her eyes shut at one point in the book (albeit accidentally) much to the amusement of Ed, a Spanish hardware store owner who helps out Maggie with her kids, is attracted to her and keeps her constant supply of Superglue flowing smoothly.

Enter Venus and Mars to solve Maggie's love problem. In the absence of Cupid and his love inducing arrows, Venus uses her dazzling smile to do the job. Her method is on target.... her understanding of the instructions received from Mr. J at the Pantheon is not. Poor cell service is to be blamed.  While Venus tries to find Maggie her perfect partner, she also uses her love inducing dazzling smile on other potential couples as well with far satisfactory results.  Mars, on the other hand is on a mission to change three crook jewel thieves into law abiding citizens.

This was a fun, fluffy, quirky cozy romance with a bit of spice. A good escapist read; I quite liked it.

My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author Kay Keppler for the e-Arc of the book.
