Thank you for allowing me to read this Ark and I apologise for a late review.
This was a super short book that I read very very quickly and all in one sitting I thought it was short and snappy to the point easy although some of the writing style was a bit of a disconnect with me as it didn’t seem to grasp you into the scene. The plot line was very generic so I’m a little bit in the middle of the field with this I didn’t join it because I had some aspects I did like but it wasn’t very unique

Shorty erotic little story.

A princes running away from an arranged marriage, is caught and put in a cell with a ghost. Not all is as it seems. This ghost may or may not be the lover meant for the princess. Escape, erotic romance, and mystery. A short fun read.

Princess Sabina was captured and thrown into a haunted castle tower after escaping an arranged marriage to a cruel Prince. Can she survive the ghost or will he drive her mad as he has the others before her? Will Sabina save the phantom by helping him remember his past?

This is an easy quick read. It could be developed and get the reader invested by developing the characters.

The synopsis of this book is what drew me in, I thought a Princess breaking a curse on a man trapped in a tower would be a fun quick read (especially since it was only 115 pages). However, I did not enjoy it in the slightest and thought it was far to short to gain ever a smidge of love for the characters. The language used was not for me (I am typically not a historical romance reader, which this leaned far more heavily to than I originally thought). While I can see how some people would definitely enjoy this, it just wasn't for me.

Princess Sabina has always obeyed her father, King Norwen. But when he plans to marry her to a ruthless prince, she runs away. Soon captured, she’s thrown into a tower cell to await her punishment.

The prison is already occupied -- by a terrifying ghost. Hiding her fears, she befriends him, hoping they might help each other. As they grow close, she realizes he’s not a phantom but an enchanted mortal who remembers nothing of his past. Physical contact with Sabina is the key to bringing back the memory of the man she learns is named Killian. The more intimate they become, the more he remembers.

Their shared adversity forges a bond between them, but will they be free to acknowledge their love for each other, or will her ruthless father capture her and drag her away from the man she’s coming to love?

It's a steamy romance because of the physical aspect that the two characters need to touch. But they also have a wonderful emotional connection as well. I love how the two characters are together. It was a fast and fun book. I enjoyed it.

Thanks to the publisher for providing an arc.

This book was honestly ok, I wasn't sure what to expect going into it and all I knew about it was that it was about a girl who gets locked in a tower and befriends the ghost in there, but it turned out to be a smutty romance and not at all what I expected from the synopsis

I was given this E-ARC from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review
