Good book that was an easy read. It was uplifting and full of feel good. It is defiantly a good one if you need a happy book.

This is a very approachable "self help" book/workbook. I think it would be really great for someone just getting into the genre and perhaps a bit lost on where to begin. Very easy pacing and achievable actions.

A really great book for anyone struggling to identify the ways in which they lose and devalue themselves in daily life. The 6 week workbook is really well laid out and thought provoking, with good journal prompts and suggested activities.

I wasn't overwhelmed or underwhelmed with this particular book. I was just... whelmed? It wasn't bad, and the author gives some interesting case studies and has some very good points, but I was also sort of bored while reading it.

AMAZING BOOK. Talks about the worthy cycle and how positive thoughts feed positive actions versus the unworthy cycle where negative thoughts lead to more negative actions. Breaks down certain situations and characteristics and how each person in each cycle would react with emphasis on what the healthy reaction would be. Great read.

Meadow Devor's THE WORTHY PROJECT is a true story of a woman who hit rock bottom with resounding, thorough terrible and roused up as a powerful teacher of self-worth and developing the ability to tell the truth about who you are and live at peace with yourself and others. This book is a brilliant blend of memoir, hard-won expertise and motivating insight, and stories from others who have worked with Devor on their own self-worth. The exercises at the end of each section are swift, illuminating jolts of what is possible when you see for yourself what is does not equate to you or what has to be. I received an advance copy of this book and these opinions are my own, unbiased thoughts.

Most people will probably tell you they know they are worthy, but honestly how many of us actually feel it? This book is great. I feel the tone is more of a tough love tone for those of us that need things drilled into our heads a few times. I'm definitely going to buy a physical copy.

I found this read to be a necessity. Not only does it show you how to truly value yourself as human being, but also looks at why aspects of your life become a mess due to undervaluing yourself. I know other reviews complained about this approach being "tough" and pretty blunt, however, I think this is necessity as a wake up call to yourself to overcome this issue. Such a great read that helped me improve my self worth and even had activities along the way to better my home and surroundings to help me see my value more. Great read for those into self-help journeys!

This ARC was given to me by NetGalley and the publishers to read and review. All the statements above are my own opinions after reading this book fully.

Wonderful! I read this in one sitting and found value in many of DeVor's insights and statements, Her closing words hit me in a powerful way: "Life wants to feel the full weight of you. It wants to hold you. It wants to protect you." I will be buying the hard-copy when this book is published to mark and re-read. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

Yikes! I found the tone of this book very off-putting and because of that, did not finish this one. Other self held out there with a kinder, gentler more empathetic approach.

This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
