Eduardo loved a woman who did not love him even though they were married and had a child. His political views were totally against those of his family and when the regime he supported was thrown out of power in Chile he was exiled to the US. He was followed by Chilean Information Services and CIA as well as by the women he had placed in his web to pursue his dreams of a socialist Chile. Beautifully written, Mr. Adler was a master with his words, The Casanova Embrace is a portrait of a time and a candid (and outrageous) usage of sex to dominate the women he needed to fullfill his dreams.
