Seth Decker left the police department disillusioned and questioning the justice system. He's taken a job as a private investigator and his first job is to find a woman's half-sister: Cara Ward.

Cara Ward is the daughter of one of the member of the Wind Dragons, destined to grow up and marry a biker, to become an old lady and have kids that will grow up in the biker life. Is that what she wants? Or does she want something else?

When her world falls apart and she moves in with her bestie, Cara is feels as though she's free for the first time in her life and she's going to enjoy that freedom. And she's going to enjoy that with Decker. That is until her past interferes with her future when a rival MC tries to kidnap her.

I loved this story and can't wait for the next book in the series.

Mary – ☆☆☆☆
Decker is an ex-cop turned P.I. and his first case is to find his client’s half-sister, Cara Ward. She is the daughter of a member of an MC and is living with a member of the club. She is not hard to find but he wants to spend time with her, he is drawn to her.

Cara is a high school teacher, going to marry Rhett – a biker – and live her life as an old lady. She sees that she and Rhett are growing apart. and when things happen that she cannot forget, she ends things between them. They are better friends than they are lovers.

When things go south because of something Rhett did and Cara is caught in the middle, Decker is there to protect her. With the help of Flexis and Clover, Decker will protect Cara with his life if he has to.

This is a new series that combines the Wind Dragons MC and the Knights of Fury, and this is a great start. There were a few things in this story that I wasn't crazy about, but I still really enjoyed it and can't wait to read the next one, RHETT REDEEMED.

Decker’s Dilemma
By: Chantal Fernando

Is he worth the heartache?

Oh wow!! In book one in the Knights and Dragons crossover series we finally get Decker’s story. And…would you believe this former law man turned P.I. has his sights on a women attached to a MC? Well jump right in because this book has it all! We have a beautiful love story, MC action and old friends it’s great to see how they’re doing. I’ve been a fan of this author for a good bit now and I was not a bit surprised when her writing took me on a amazing ride to happily ever after’

Authors Blurb: The Knights of Fury and the Wind Dragons MCs come together in New York Times bestselling author Chantal Fernando’s gritty new series.

Wind Dragon princess Cara and ex-cop Decker will have to cross every line to be together—including the law.

At a Turning Point

It was a typical PI gig: track down the client’s newly discovered half sister. For ex-cop Seth Decker, finding Cara Ward was the easy part. Walking away from the sexy schoolteacher is going to be a whole different story.

At a Crossroads

Cara thought she had the road ahead all mapped out she’d be a biker’s old lady, straddling a Harley behind the man she fell for in her teens. But she’s all grown up. And while the Wind Dragons will always be family, Cara wants something more, something for herself. Decker may not be a biker, but that means his woman will always come first.

Caught in the Cross Fire

Once an MC princess, always an MC princess, though. When Cara’s connection to the Wind Dragons puts her in the line of fire from a gang out for revenge, Decker realizes the safest place for her is by his side. After all, there’s nothing he won’t do to protect the woman he loves. Even if it means crossing the line of the law he once swore to uphold.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

I just love when an author crosses over into a new series but brings beloved character from previous series with her and Ms. Fernando has given us that twice over with her new Knights & Dragons MC series! I picked up Chantal Fernando’s Wind Dragon series by chance when I first got into the whole MC craze and loved it so much that I devoured the entire series and then the spinoff series of the Knights of Fury that came after. Now we get to enjoy a whole new generation of the Wind Dragons as the kids we met in those books find themselves in some serious jams and falling in love at the same time. Cara is an MC Princess, the beloved step-daughter of one of the OG Wind Dragons and she has had it with the direction her life is taking. A long-term relationship with the crowned-prince of the MC has gone nowhere fast and she is ready for some changes in her life when the sudden appearance of a sexy PI changes everything for her. Seth Decker has finally taken his life by the horns, quitting his old job as a cop when he became disillusioned and becoming a private investigator, when his first solo client asks him to find her long-lost half-sister. The job should have been simple, but when Decker finds the sexy Cara and learns of their connections, feels the pull to the sweet and sensual woman, he has to decide just how deep into her life he wants to be drawn. When Cara let’s her old life go, moving to Decker’s hometown and deciding to give a new life a chance, Decker decides there is nothing holding him back from making this woman his, even though he has never wanted to do that with any other woman. But Cara has a new enemy that could very well end any chance of them having any future at all if Decker and Cara’s family and friends can’t keep her safe and end the threat in time. This story was fast-paced, sexy as hell, and filled with the life or death drama that leads people into bonding hard and fast. Cara was a woman at her wits' end in the relationship department for sure in the beginning of this story, having been with the same man all of her adult life, but once she realized they were never meant to be her decisiveness and stubbornness were awesome to watch. She was sweet, but sexy, stubborn and outspoken, leaving no one with any doubt what she wanted from her life once she made a decision. I loved watching her find her true path and where she belonged, not just following what others had expected of her all her life, but what she wanted for herself. She made Decker see that he could be so much more than he was giving himself credit for too, pulling the best out of him even as she grew into a better and more whole personality. Decker had a bit of growing up to do to finally find himself in this story, finally getting where he needed to be professionally and then just needing to meet the right woman to learn his direction for his personal needs. Watching him with the women in his life, be it his sister, his partner, or Cara was an eye-opener because really there just aren’t that many true gentlemen left in the world, especially ones that are also alpha badasses. His best attributes had to have been how he made sure that no matter what, even if he knew it would cause personal trouble for himself, he did whatever he thought was needed to protect Cara and defeat her enemies for her. Passion was not a problem for these two, even when the danger was at defcon levels, and obviously the heat will never die as it hasn’t for any of these sexy matches. The Dragons and Knights are all leading us on a merry chase in love and I CANNOT wait for the next story to see what trouble our crowned-prince Rhett gets himself into and the woman that finally fully captures him heart and soul. Chantal you astonish me as usual, you are a goddess!

Enjoyable!

Decker and Cara have a great first meeting and it keeps you going from there. You keep rooting for them thru all the action and drama.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

This story is second generation Wind Dragons with members of the Knights of Fury. Rhett and Cara grew up together in the MC. They were first loves, everyone thought they would always be together…until they weren’t. Decker is a PI that was hired to find Cara. Sparks fly when they meet. Due to problems with Rhett and a new gang in town, Decker steps up to protect Cara. I like how the characters of both MC’s are entwined in the story. Loved seeing more of Clover and Felix. Can be read as a stand-alone, but I would recommend reading both series to get the full effect.

An easy good introduction to her new series, Knights & Dragons MC.
You will love Decker even more than you did when we first met him in Nadia and Trade's story.
When you are hired to find a person you do it because that is your new job as a PI. But what happens when you find your subject and your subject then hires you to look into that person, shew that was a mouthful.
Cara is an MC princess and Decker is not sure he wants to get involved but he also can not help it.
Cara is taken and has been for a very long time, thinking she is with who she is supposed to spend her life with keeps her loyal but him not so much.
Betrayal and danger throw Decker and Cara together as he tries to protect her from a rival MC
Really good read and has me ready for more.

Joining two different MC clubs in two different areas without war is a huge feat but it’s been achieved in this book without fuss and done well. I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Cara and Decker but also all of the other wonderful characters too. I love the secondary characters in this story, especially Clover—her sense of humor is hilarious with one-liners that left me chuckling out loud.

Cara is a strong woman who knows her own mind and thank goodness she does too, I did want to take her aside in the beginning and have a little chat with her about Rhett though. 😄 Nothing against Rhett as a character mind you. Now, Seth Decker is one gorgeous hunk of a man with high standards and values, I love how he stood up for what he believed in his career. Together these two have an instant attraction and although they try to fight it; when you know, you know! But it’s more than burning up the sheets, it goes much deeper.

There are a few mysteries in this book that are intriguing and boy with the drama and action heating up you certainly sit up and take notice of what’s going on! I really enjoyed how unpredictable the who ‘gang’ situation was and I am positive readers will find it as exciting as I did.

Another terrific story by this author and one I have no hesitation in recommending to everyone.

I love a good alpha male story. Even better when there’s a woman who is also an alpha in her own right. That describes Cara and Decker perfectly. It’s sad how Cara becomes single and I felt a little awkward for her. But when the sparks are flying, you wish Rhett the best and get on with the story. 5 stars!!!

An interesting read, especially I think if you are a long term fan and can place all the peripheral characters (which I couldn’t)

It didn’t really quite hit the mark for me as though there isn’t really direct cheating involved, there are definite mixed feelings for more than one person which I always find hard to take.

A great premise for the story thigh and whilst well executed, most of the drama does happen towards the end of the book and it’s a relative slow burn till then

Arc exchanged for honest review

Decker's Dilemma is book one in the Knights and Dragons MC series. Cara is a teacher and the daughter of the President of the Wind Dragons MC. Her boyfriend is also in the club, though that relationship isn't quite going well and seems to have run its course. Decker used to be a police officer and is now trying his hand as a private investigator. His new job puts him directly in Cara's path, which then ultimately also has him calling on his friends with the KInghts of Fury MC for help.

There was action, drama, and a swoony romance in this story. I was invested from beginning to end in these characters and this story line. I absolutely adored Decker. He was the perfect mix of protective and sweet, and I loved Cara and Decker together. It was nice to catch up with some of the characters from the Kinghts of Fury. This book was a great opener to this series and I cannot wait for more from this author!

I have been a fan of Chantal for a while and again did enjoy this book and was happy to read about previous members of other books. I liked Cara however I have to say that she forgave Rhett entirely too easily, yes,! she had a history with him, I get that but that didn't mean that you just acted like he didn't hurt you and all was ok, it wasn't, and she should have made him work for his apology more (but that's me). I loved Decker, it's a shame that he was another man-ho but I guess all these guys are written that way, but still are all loveable and all alpha. He came thru when needed and did what he needed to do, she better had stayed with him, can't wait til the next story!

Love Chantal’s MC books! This new series comes off of the last series from this author, and I was excited that while it’s a new series, we still get the characters and stories from the other books. This book focuses on Seth, who is hired by a member of his local MC’s wife to find her half-sister who she knew nothing of her existence until the death of her father. Through his research, Seth finds Cara, who ironically is involved with a different MC in her hometown through her stepfather, and he travels down to deliver the news of her birth father’s death as well as the existence of her sister. When he meets Cara, his original plans are thrown out the window, especially when through the MC Cara’s life is in danger and he feels that he’s the best option to keep her safe. This book had me going back and forth trying to figure everything out, including the outcome, and the guessing kept me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m so excited for the next book in the series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I love this author's work and this book was another one I just absolutely fell in love with all the characters. You could practically feel the sexual tension coming off the pages between Decker and Cara. I really enjoyed this whole book and can't wait for the next one.

Decker’s Dilemma is the first in a new series by Chantal Fernando. I really enjoyed this book but really I’ve never read one of Chantal’s books that I didn’t like. All the characters and live in a MC were very well written. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series. Thanks to Netgalley for my arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

I had high expectations for this story, as MC books are a favourite genre of mine. The characters are really likeable but I wanted and expected more bloodshed. The romance was insta between Cara and Decker, but they held back for as long as they could. This is an easy, enjoyable read providing you are not expecting gore, violence and bloodshed that I associate with an MC read.

Cara is the daughter of a member of the Wind Dragons MC and the girlfriend and lifelong friend of their future president but their relationship is lacking. Decker is a PI and when he meets Cara, sparks fly. These two are in for a battle that isn’t even theirs!

This ‘battle’ at the end was the most exciting thing in the book but, for me, it was anticlimactic. I absolutely loved all the characters but felt disappointed with the lack of action.

Decker’s Dilemma has us combining the world of the Knights of Fury and the Wind Dragon’s.

This is a very sweet, slow burn romance. Decker has just life his job as a police officer to go into work as a private investigator and his first job is to track down the newly discovered sister of a client. That sister happens to be Cara, daughter of a member of the Wind Dragon's MC.

I can't wait to read more of this series!

Reading Chantal Fernancdo for the first time with a new series I wasn’t sure what to expect but this author fastly became one on my must read list. I liked the premise of the series, as the MC accepted people even if tied to police or FBI, and seemed to work for the good of others.
Cara who was tied to the Knight & Dragons MC was a school teacher and met former cop and now P., Seth, who was hired to track her down.
A good beginning to a new series and this girl will be going back and reading Chanel’s other series.

This is book one in the start of a new series which has both The Wind Dragons & Knight's Fury MC's from previously written series.
This was a great way to start the series with MC Daughter Cara and ex-cop Decker, each having affiliations with one of the MCs.
The plot is action packed but filled with emotion making a great read

This new series starts out strong and pulls me into the dangerous world of the MC. This can be read without reading the Knights of Fury or the Wind Dragons books. If this is your first book with Ms. Fernando, you are in for a treat. Cara is the exalted daughter of the Wind Dragon President. This makes her a princess waiting for her prince to wed her . . . or not.

This romance makes me happy because Cara decides that her prince is neither charming nor for her. The story starts with Cara wondering about her finance, Rhett, who is the son of one of the MC. Rhett is most likely to become the next president. Being best friends with Rhett and Chloe growing up in the MC, it is hard for Cara to decide maybe she needs to go in a different direction. She might take some inspiration from Chloe. Chloe's story is in the Wind Dragon Series, book 7 Fallen Princess (see related post).

Sometimes even with the best-laid plans, if the two people aren't in it together, it just doesn't work. This is what happens between Rhett and Cara. Honestly, I'm pissed at Rhett and how he takes Cara for granted. For God's sake, they were best friends. What he does to her is not what a best friend does. I want to shoot him. Whilst Cara decides her prince needs to leave the castle, or she can find another castle to live in, she meets a knight in tarnished armour. Except she doesn't need to be rescued, even if he wants to come to her aid. Seth Decker is a former cop who is disenfranchised with the hypocritical department and he goes into the private sector. As a PI he has more control over his cases and he feels he does more good.

I like the setup of how Seth meets Cara. Their sexual chemistry sparks at first glance. Their courtship is fraught with obstacles and Seth maneuvers around them easily. I like that this story shows how they bond through some tough situations. I also like seeing how those who are tied to the MC through blood or marriage are up for collateral damage. What I most especially like seeing is that Cara is not a victim. Her daddy taught her right. She doesn't take shit from anyone and she learned how to defend herself. She isn't a TSTL character. She is an accomplished woman who can take care of herself and does her best to support the ones she loves. I admire Cara and her strength. Seeing how Seth treats her as an equal even though he's very protective warms my heart.

This MC romance is recommended for readers who like a princess that picks up a sword (or gun) herself and takes the enemy head-on.

I find it so comforting to be back in a CF written MC world. I found this to be just as compulsively readable as the series from which this is a spin off and I love how hardly any characters are throwaway. Decker and Cara have quite the "meet cute" and their connection is instant, even if it isn't ideal for either of them. This has a gripping plot and really strong characters. I cannot wait to see what comes of this series. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
