Thanks to Netgalley & Harper Collins for this ARC. I genuinely squealed when I got the notification!
Where to even start?
Pulled from another murder case, Maeve & Josh have to go undercover as a loved up couple on dog sitting duties, surveiling the residents of Jellicoe Close during a hot relentless summer.
Did I need more of #Kerrwent in their domestic bliss? I absolutely did and I 100% would have been happy if that's all the book was. But, once again, Jane Casey has written an amazing police procedural thriller. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you absolutely realise you don't. Nothing like some boring old suburbia to make you question everyone and everything.
I very rarely make it to number 10 in a book series as I feel writers run out of steam with the same characters but this isn't the case with Josh, Maeve & everyone in the Met murder squad and I honestly can't wait for number 11.
