I thought the. content was good, but the author/reader was NOT engaging and was a wee bit whiny and I could not finish listening to the audiobook.

I don’t recommend many self aware/selfhelp books, but this is one of those that should be on everyone’s nightstand.

The narration was done very well and spaced accordingly given the nature of this type of resource

I loved Amber Rae's Choose Wonder Over Worry, and was so excited to recieve an ARC of this title.

I normally am suspect of author narrated projects but this was lovely, and there are some wonderful nuggets in this book. Its one that once you finish listening you want to read it.

Some may say these are platitudes or well worn ideas but I found a lot of this to be refreshing and affirming.

I also think it would make a lovely gift for someone struggling or maybe a new grad.

*received for free from netgalley for honest review* i think this would be better as a book not an audiobook for prolonged use, listening to it was pretty cool as well

I really liked this book! I have been following Amber Rae's work for some time now, after coming across her previous book, Choose Wonder Over Worry on NetGalley. I really enjoyed her tips and the layout of the audiobook. I like how it is in short, digestible chunks that you can return to any time you need one of the strategies. She did a great job with the narration as well. I plan to purchase a copy for myself and my classroom. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title.

I really needed a read like this after all the depression reads I've been reading. Her voice is so soothing! The book was super calm, had great prompts, and overall loved the layout of the book! I will be recommending both the book and audiobook!! Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook in exchange for a review.

The book was nice but the "chapters" were super short (maybe 2-4 pages if at all); however, I did like how it tells you to talk to yourself or your own feelings, now i have to work and see if the book works for me

Great book to help you calm down and relax! Also great for those who want to make New Years resolutions and usually have trouble sticking to them!! It helps you understand why you worry so much and why you also shouldn’t worry so much. Love it!

Honestly what a marvelous read to start the new year.

This is the time of reflection, yet foresight.

The Answers Are Within You is perfect on audio with creative sound mixing other audiobooks could aspire to.

Read by the author this book contains personal, yet applicable inspiring tidbits for any reader.

Although I read it all in one go, this would serve well as a sort of daily devotional to get yourself into a space of open awareness for the day ahead.

Perfect for fans of Big Magic, this little book may provide the insight you are craving.

Thank-you @netgalley and @macmillan.audio for this ALC.
The Answers Are Within You will be out January 18th!

This book of wisdom can help you avoid overwhelm and live with more intention. The book is succinct enough that you can reread it, or a section of it, to get perspective whenever life is particularly challenging. The ebook and print versions contain cute visuals to help focus the message, but I also appreciated the audiobook. I prefer to listen so I can multitask. It's narrated by the author, and she does a good job.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Amber Rae reminds listeners of what matters in our life to help us focus on the good. Mini lessons in mindfulness and simplified cognitive behavior therapy teaches us to turn around the inner negative self-talk we experience in order to use it as a tool of growth and how to be compassionate toward ourselves. Learn how to shed the shackles of external expectations in order to find your own dreams and aim for goals that bring you satisfaction. A great resource to have available when life feels a little too overwhelming. About 3 hours of 2-3 minute meditative messages that you can turn to when needed.

I think I would have enjoyed the physical version of this book more than the audiobook. It feels like it is missing something. The pieces of advice probably go well with the artwork I imagine is in the book. I didn't really connect with this book.

This is a pep talk for the soul. Amber Rae gives you a lot of self-help type of advice in a condensed, easy-to-digest guide. While I listened to the 2.5 hr audiobook, I'm sure the content is laid out in a beautiful format. Reminds me of a cute coffee table book or something you might read in the morning with your coffee.

Thanks to Macmillan Audio for a pre-release copy of the audio via the NetGalley app. The narration and supporting music was excellent.

Insightful and inspirational yet entertaining audiobook. Not your regular self-help book, which I loved. Amber Rae’s narrations was refreshing as well. Would definitely recommend to my friends!

A huge thank you to Macmillian Audio & NetGalley for this audiobook in exachange for my honest review. 🤍

This book gives you permission to say no. Though I do not agree with the author that if you have made a commitment that is too much it is ok to not complete it. If you commit I feel you should follow through. The book made me think about how important it is to not overcommit yourself. Say no when you need to. It is ok to make time and space for yourself.

This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
