This is good book for kindergartens to know about seasons by knowing the kind of changes in front of them. I really like the illustrations but don't know why same line repeated as imperative and answering as well for introducing every season in line.

Another fun book in this series! I appreciate the Spanish words and pronunciations, as is with each book in the series. The flaps with surprise birds are also so fun!

Bilingual board book. This book introduces vocabulary related to seasons-- not just the words for the actual seasons, but some of the weather and clothing vocabulary associated with each season. This makes this book better for reading aloud than a simple vocabulary book would be. The flaps are fun, but some do seem to interrupt the flow of the story. Back matter includes a pronunciation guide for the Spanish words featured.

I thought that this was a really lovely idea

The book tells the same story, that of the different seasons in both English and Spanish.

It is a great way to pick up a few Spanish words and would be great for any younger children learning a new language at school. My daughter is 5 and is just starting to learn French in year one so will be on the lookout for a similar book to help her.

It has some lovely illustrations and is well laid out - 4 stars

The chicks are back and taking readers on a bilingual journey through the seasons. This book is like the rest of the series. It’s cute, it gets it point across and babies will love them.

My second in this collection and it’s just as good, if not better. Love the detail and that it’s not just translations of the four seasons. It makes it more interesting and subsequently encourages learning. The illustrations, especially of Nicky, Ricky and Kiki are cute and drawn attention. The use of bold colours will be especially useful for younger children. The glossary at the end is especially useful!

My kids love the Cánticos books, so we read the latest books in the series. In Seasons, we look at what the chickies are wearing, and guess which season applies. This book also contains flaps and pronunciation guides as well! My kids really enjoyed these and would like to learn more Spanish!

A Lift-The-Flap Book!!! One of my favorite kind of book. This book will help toddlers and small children to learn both English and Spanish at the same time. With pretty and colorful images, kids will love flipping the pages and the flaps.

This is another great board book with lift-the-flap pages and interactive seasons. These are great books for kids to learn not only about the English language, but about the Spanish language too.

Look this way to learn Spanish!

With lift-the-flap, and beautiful illustrations, this is a fun way to learn a new language. At the end, there is a collection of words and how to pronounce them, which I missed in the story. But I found the book good nonetheless.

As a language lover, this is a great start book to learn Spanish. Learning new words is a must for every language lover. As a 24 year-old I find learning new words to be easier when it’s down on a kids level (no shame). I recommend this book for people who want an easy start up to Spanish.

Happy reading!♥️

This is a very cute children's board book, which has easy to read words, and beautiful, vibrant images. There are sweet animals in the book, who go through each season of the year, and as they do so, they show the words for each season, as well as the environment and relatable items, such as in winter, they are wearing winter clothing. There are flaps in the book which can be lifted up, and also, each sentence is written in english and spanish. I found this book very interesting, and enjoyable.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love the translation for Boo! into Spanish, that was my favorite word to learn in this book. This was a fun book about the seasons. I love the phonetic spelling of the highlighted Spanish words (located at the back of the book), it helps with the pronunciation. I also love that there is a Canticos YouTube channel where you can further improve your Spanish. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFJJziTVsiIVSyRKvXHX37g

An entry in what seems like a wonderful series, of simple vocab builders and early lessons in Spanish – or of course, in English if you're clued into Spanish already. We watch three ebullient, cute-as-all-that baby chicks, that stay baby chicks all through the seasons of the year, which we see through the door of their house as each time they get ready to go out. That door is a lift-the-flap bit, but there are also more reveals to be made each time, when we also see them have larks outdoors. By the end, we see that "oops" is so similar in both languages as makes no difference, but the correct tense in the verb "to need" uses five syllables, unfortunately. Still, this is all about the seasons, and the lesson in their names is just as visually engaging as you could wish.
