This is just like. Such a trip. I really went on a journey here, and I'd like to thank Katee Robert for being the captain. Magical babies, superpowers, demons, angels, vampires, polyamory?? You know what, I was worried that the men would only want to be with Mina but no, Katee Robert said everyone has two hands let's go, and I appreciate that. Even though I don't see how there could be a second one, I hope there's a second one. Why not. 2022.

Given I really enjoyed Katee Robert's Dark Olympus series, with its steamy, engaging, modern retellings of the Greek gods, I was keen to dive into Court of the Vampire. Queen. Unfortunately, while the steamy sex is definitely on full and glorious display in her newest work, the plot is sadly MIA. There's simply next-to-no story to hang all that sex off of. As a result, even the hottest cavorting and consumating gets boring and I gave up at the 1/2 way marker.

Katee's books always deliver on the story and spice levels. This bind-up was a great idea to keep the readers moving from one story onto the next. Despite it's size I was undaunted and kept going and before I knew it, I was finished. Maybe the spiciness isn't for everyone, but it's a fun story and has paranormal elements.

Holy Vampire HOTNESS! This book was a wild ride and there was never a dull moment. Katee Robert knows how to write spicy supernatural goodness. I had a good time reading this. It was action-packed, the writing was great, and was chalk full of spicy scenes. The introduction was very dramatic, with loads of tension. Mina is a strong female lead and I liked her perspective especially with the circumstance that she was born into. The men were all great in their own way and there was a great distinction between all three of them and it was a very unique dynamic between all of them. The only thing I would have liked to see was more plot, in between the spicy parts and there were a lot of them. Please be mindful and check trigger warnings. Overall, it was fast-paced, entertaining, and had a strong female lead. I would definitely recommend it.
Trigger warnings: Assault, blood, gore.
I received this advanced ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

Court of the Vampire Queen delivers the spice even bordering on smut. To be fair, I'm not sure the exact technical boundaries between the two, but this one has some serious amount of spice. Not even in terms of the actual actions, but also in the quantity. Hey, I'm not complaining! But it also has some murky consent not only because of the position her father has put her in - which I think was managed and discussed by the characters - but also because of the nature of the vampire bites (this I feel like wasn't discussed as in depth).

Another incredible collection from Katee Robert! I had previously read the first book in this series but I love that it has been re released in a compilation. I knocked them all out on a plane ride and it was everything I wanted. Vampires mixed with some Katee Robert spice…, perfection!

Katee Robert never disappoints, and this book may honestly be one of my favorite's by her. I thought that she was creating a brand new world with this series, but it turns out that this series in fact takes place in the same universe as another one of her series (which just made me more excited). Court of the Vampire Queen is a spicy reverse-harem paranormal romance, where our lead character gets to discover herself and her own powers while falling in love with three gorgeous vampires who have their own complicated history. I enjoyed the plot, the world building, and the spice in this book. It is a quick read and I enjoyed learning about the hierarchy of the vampires in her world. Definitely recommend if you enjoy vampires, spicy RH, paranormal romance, and Katee Robert's Demon Bargainer series.

Having read Robert's The Dragon's Bride and being delightfully surprised at just how much I loved that book, I jumped at the chance to read this one. A spicy reverse-harem vampire romance written by Katee Robert? Sign me the heck up! However...this is not my favorite work from her.

I appreciated that things were spicy from the jump, but so much happened so fast that it felt like there was nowhere else to go. Making things a bit more...well not slow burn, but maybe some more build up in the interactions, that would make the story better. For example, I really enjoyed Mina's solo encounter with Rylan precisely because the tension had been built up and it was a new experience.

Generally speaking, I feel like the pacing was off. The last third of the book dragged. I'm not exactly sure how to explain why or how, but compared to other work I've read from Robert, the flow of the story didn't feel as natural.

All that being said...bonus points for the Azazel cameo! Love that demon <3

A reverse harem paranormal romance. All Mina want is to escape her father house and his violence environment she however has one small problem with no where to go she is stuck trying to make the best of it.. Mina is half vampire and half human not fitting in either world. She has been given to Malachi Zion in a political move. Their meeting will not only change their lives but the world, Can they learn to trust each other to change the world they live in to make it a better place. This book was very bloody but the story was good. Ms Robert has the ability to create a world and make it seem like it does really exist. Can wait for the next book in the series.

This book is definitely deceiving. After reading the Neon Gods series… this one doesn’t even compare. It reminded me of “Underworld” movie franchise with a lot more sex.

A sizingly hot romance book for vampire lovers ! This book truly exceeded al my expectations for it, which was not surprising wih how good Katee Roberts other books are. This book was an absolute delight and perfect for fall and especially the spookier days around Halloween.

Court of the Vampire Queen was entertaining and had some fun characters, but the main character fell a little short for me. While this is not as good with the story as Neon Gods, fans of vampire fiction will enjoy this title.

Katee Robert killed it as always. I always know when I pick up a Katee Robert book that I'm going to have a good time. I can't wait for more from her, she's definitely one of romance's best.

I loved this novella bind up! All four main characters were distinct and compelling to read about. I loved the dynamics between all of them and how this wasn’t just a reverse harem but a polyamorous relationship between four loving people. Loved it!

I throughly enjoyed this novel. In fact, it’s one of the few lately that has held my attention throughout the entire story. While I could see a few things coming, I never felt like rushing though it. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Who doesn’t love a reverse harem steamy 🌶🔥 romance? Throw in vampires and I am immediately intrigued.

I would say that this book is 90% about the *spice* and not so much on deep character development, world building, or substantial plot. If that’s your jam, you’ll love this one! Don’t get me wrong, there is a conflict driving the action in the story, but it takes a back seat to the romance so it kind of fell short for me.

I was left wanting when it came to character depth (or lack thereof), insta-love magic, and a quickly tidied up climax to the story. So for that, I gave this book 2/5 stars. Still enjoyable, but not one I’d reach for again.

That being said, the introduction to a demon realm and possibility for more books surrounding that crew….I’m here for it. 🔥😈

Thanks to NetGalley for providing an eArc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had really really really high hopes for this one but in the end it fell flat. Just kind of sizzled out. Could have been shorter.

Read if you like: dark romance
-
Mina is sent to the home of a vampire for one purpose: to feed and breed for this vampire. But what she doesn't expect is to learn more about herself and her past.
-
This was an intriguing book. I loved the way Mina slowly became more aware of herself and her powers, and overcame a lot of the trauma she experienced as a child at the hands of her cruel father. My only thing is that the number of spicy scenes felt like a lot of plot filler, and while I love a spicy romance book and don't shy away from reading anything, I wanted a bit more plot. It made the book feel a bit too long but overall I really enjoyed reading the story!

I thought this book was great for exactly what it was. The plot took some time to develop but the slowness in plot development was compensated with quality romance and sex scenes. If you’re looking for a reverse harem fantasy romance that makes your toes curl then this is an excellent option. It was blessedly devoid of cringey one liners. I read it over the span of two days and thoroughly enjoyed it.
