I really wanted to like this book. It was just such a slog to get through. Mina repeated the same story about her upbringing and mistreatment at her father’s compound, In seemingly every chapter. I feel we didn’t get really good stories on her men other than, honestly, surface material. And for the love, Mina just was utterly helpless for 90% of this book, and even kept saying it again and again. There were some good parts scattered throughout that would compel me to keep reading, but then, we were right back to Mina whining. Even the sexy times were a bit much after awhile. So, as much as I like this author, I probably won’t return to this world if there’s a sequel. And three stars is all I can give.
**Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book early. Opinions are my own.**

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

I knocked off half a star because I felt that the first half of act one kind of dragged, but once all of the characters were introduced and the story got going I really enjoyed it. Out of all of Katee Robert's books, this one is really just about the smut. It's in almost every chapter, it's a major part of the plot, and it's integral to the poly relationship between Mina and her vampire boyfriends Malachi, Wolf, and Rylan. The plot itself was pretty basic, but honestly I don't really read Katee's books for the plots so I didn't mind. If you're looking for an quick, fall, vampire book with lots of well-written smut, this is the book for you.

This book was pretty different from what I normally read but I was willing to try something new. I thought the plot line was interesting and entertaining. There was smut scenes constantly through out this book. In the end I was completely rooting for the main characters.

I knew there was going to be a love square but holy crap… didn’t realize this was M-M-M-F where they all just go to town on each other.

I enjoyed this, although I felt the story line was lacking and mostly erotic every chapter until the last quarter of the book.

I read and enjoyed Katee Roberts’ Dark Olympus series so I was happy to get this ARC from Netgalley. Sadly, this book was just a series of sex acts with an incredibly bad plot loosely tying them together. I enjoy a spicy read if the sex adds to the story- but in this case the sex seemed to be most of the story. Boring.

Soo... I tried reading this book and expected the plot in it... but this one consists mostly of sexy and well... smut times - so I needed to verify my expectations, and with that, we got decent three stars for Vampire Queen and her harem - be ready for possibly some triggers and take this book for what it is, smut read that is here to deliver us hotness and spiciness.
Mina (our main character) is the daughter of a powerful vampire lord, but she has no powers as a dhampir, so she has only one use for her father - being a stud mare and blood sacrifice to another vampire. Now she's sent to him to do whatever he wants.. and she has every right to be scared, and then it's changed with lust that will be driving her crazy for Malachi. And after some time two more men join them in the relationship. It will be getting hotter and hotter. This goes on there is a lot of sex, and it will be going for quite some time with no bigger thoughts, to then suddenly come up with an interesting plot, but unfortunately, there were some disjointed parts and a lack of logic in quite a few places.
This book does not bring us many plot points and twists, it got replaced by the place of smutty moments which is also okay, but you have to be in the mood for this type of reading - I was expecting something else at the beginning so this is a reason for three stars.

I had a craving for a book featuring vampires and Court of the Vampire Queen satiated my needs. This is the first Katee Robert book I have read and I enjoyed it. It was an easy read and the story and characters have now been swirling around in my head for several days.

Mina, the half human, half vampire FMC is sent to live, feed, and breed with Malachi. I was surprised that he was a solid, positive male example for the beaten down, Mina. Malachi's care and consideration for the young FMC went a long way. Two other males, Wolf and Rylan are brought into the story early on to create a powerful foursome - and what a spicy foursome it is. Each man held a different gift and we learn about each as the story progresses.

I would have loved to hear more about Mina's upbringing and what the daily life was like on her fathers compound.

I feel like at this point, most of us can agree Katee Robert delivers exactly what she promises.
Did I want to read a MMMF, why choose, fast paced, vampire erotica? Sure
And was it a MMMF, why choose, fast paced, vampire erotica? 100%
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. It was the perfect palette cleanser.
There were a couple times in the book where the story repeated itself almost like the reader needed a reminder (we really didn't) but hopefully this was an early revision pre final edits.
Recommend for the burnt out cuties who want to read 496 pages of smut and magic to get through life.
Technically there is a plot in here, but make no mistake this is 80% sex AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! We're sex positive here. Period. (Yes this is in reference to some of the reviews I've seen)
I will say trigger warning for breeding and pregnancy kinks. It's a personal ick from me (absolutely no shade to anyone who enjoy them) but it's probably influenced my final rating.

Katee Robert’s can do no wrong. This is a three part story that follows a human girl and her three lovers through a series of trials and tribulations. All the best tropes are present and I couldn’t read it fast enough.

3.5 stars- COURT OF THE VAMPIRE QUEEN by Katee Robert is a contemporary, adult, reverse harem, LGBTQ, paranormal, erotic romance story line focusing on twenty-five year old dhampir Mina Lancaster, and vampires Malachi Zion, Wolf and Rylan.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

SOME BACKGROUND: All vampires can be traced back to one of the original seven vampires whether turned or bloodline. The bloodline vampires are slowly dying out, and in this, Mina Lancaster is a vessel for her family’s lineage.

Told from first person perspective (Mina) COURT OF THE VAMPIRE follows the building relationship between dhampir Mina Lancaster, and vampires Malachi, Wolf and Rylan. Mina Lancaster is believed to be half human/ half vampire with no discernable powers. Mina’s father, Cornelius Lancaster is a powerful vampire who is the ultimate evil Master, and has entrapped Malachi Zion behind a blood ward, a ward that will not allow Malachi his freedom to feed. Hoping for a vampire heir, Cornelius forces his daughter onto the starving Malachi never thinking that the two could eventually fall in love but Malachi’s past is about to come into the present when his former vampire lovers Wolf and Rylan, also make a claim for our story line heroine. Something about Mina’s blood is calling to the men with whom she will bond, something that proves our heroine is much more than the half human/ half vampire she has been led to believe. To free herself and Malachi from her father’s control, Mina must take down Cornelius Lancaster by first bonding with her vampires, a bond that triggers the powers hidden deep without our story line heroine. What ensues is the building and highly sexual relationship between dhampir Mina and her vampires, and the potential fall-out as Malachi, Wolf and Rylan are caught in a trap from which they may never get free.

We are introduced to Wolf’s sister Lizzie; monster hunter Grace, demon Azazel; and Mina’s father Cornelius Lancaster.

COURT OF THE VAMPIRE QUEEN is an erotic tale of lust and need, blood and $ex, more lust, more need, more blood and more $ex. Traversing a fine line between romance, erotic and erotica, the story line and world building is hyper focused on the sexual relationship between Mina and her powerful vampires. The actual story is constrained and overwhelmed by the numerous $ex scenes-I was hoping for more world building, back story, and story line conflict. Nothing is off limits; blood play and feeding is a part of the act; often times, the foursome cross the line of barely controlled need and feeding frenzy, a need that often over powers their sense of self preservation. The $ex scenes are intense, erotic, passionate and aggressive but they are vampires, pleasure and $ex are a part of their feeding.

The conflict resolution is hurried, although the build up is fast and furious. The epilogue fast forwards COURT OF THE VAMPIRE QUEEN approximately four years. There is a slight cliff hanger-I am not sure if the author has plans for some of the secondary characters but their issues and story lines need to be told.

Loved reading the mesmerizing and enthralling paranormal romance story. When Mina’s treacherous and cruel vampire father gives her to a blood-born vampire. Mina is surprised by how kind Malachi is to her. Then, Mina meets Malachi’s two friends, Wolf and Rylan. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story.

Thank you Sourcebooks for a copy of Court of the Vampire Queen for review. Like all things Katee Robert, this one was heavy on the steamy scenes and I really liked it! I never really got as into vampires as some of my peers but the story was really well developed in this one. Lots of lore and past issues for these characters to work through but it never felt slow. Very fast paced especially as you get to the second and third books within this collection. Definitely a must read for fantasy dark romance fans.

I wanted to love this so much because I love Katee. But I was just so bored and had to force myself to continue reading. The spice is HOT, and the writing is good, but plot wise it just wasn’t doing it for me.

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC.

*Make sure to check content warnings on this book*

If you like Katee Robert's other books, I definitely recommend trying this one out. She always gives top notch spice and the best love interests and the same can be said for this one. I even found that the plot was more prominent than expected (but to be fair, a bunch of the plot happens during the spicy parts haha).

I think it is also important to keep in mind that this book brings together 3 novellas, so things move fast, especially in the beginning.

I really enjoyed this book, I couldn't put it down, and it had me blushing almost the entire time. If you are looking for a quick, very spicy read, definitely pick this one up.

Thanks to Sourcebook Casablanca and NetGalley for the ARC.

A steamy, reverse harem, vampire novel. There is a plot, but it somehow ends in smut and I am here for it!

There are several content warnings like dubious consent, blood play, and abuse so please read the warnings in the front of the book before divining in.

The epilogue leaves room for a continuation so I’m hoping we see more of Mine and her men in the future!

This book was just okay for me, I would recommend it if you like her other work! I will be picking up her work again!!

"Court of the vampire queen" is a book you don't need a reading mark for, because you just can't put it down. It's sexy, it's dirty, it's sucking you into the vampire's world with all its charms, dangers and all the lust. The story itself is obviously not prioritized here, but still holds some thrilling moments and has you breathlessly turning pages. I would love a spin-off to this story, just to read more from this hot quartet.
Sometimes I thought, some lines were repeated once or twice to often and some of the mid-story exposition was not necessary. Another upside of a spin-off would be to get to know the characters better - their personalities and interactions with each other outside of bed got a little bit drowned in the sex scenes.
For everybody who is looking for a steaming-hot vampire novel: This is it.

Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert is a book I didn’t know I needed but I did! Katee is the queen of sensuality and this book doesn’t disappoint. It is beyond steamy and just a good time. Fun, exciting and does the found family trope very well.

I received a review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Oh man! Steamy and sexy and everything I have come to expect of Katee Robert. Mina is a pawn to her father - only good for doing his bidding and falling into line. So when he sends her to Malachi, a vampire whom she has never met, to be a willing brood mare, she does as she's told. But things are not what they seem with Malachi and there is a connection between the two of them. As two other vampires from Malachi's past come onto the scene, everything unfolds in a very tantalizing fashion. Will the four of them make it out from Mina's father alive? And will they be stronger together?

Again, Robert has created an epically sexy fantasy and did not disappoint!

I enjoyed this compilation but it's not my favorite of the authors. Mina bugged me a bit in her lack of growth. I loved the guys though. Especially Wolf I love a good reverse harem and this one has every aspect of a poly relationship you could possibly imagine. I wish Mina had been a strong enough character to be the focus of the relationship instead of Malachi. The plot is alright but it's the steamy sex that readers are going to pick this one up for. You'll be fanning your face in the best way.
