I love reading the samplers that publishers put out because it's a great way to read about books you might not have heard about or you have heard about and are curious about titles. Getting to read a little sampler of a story can help when it comes to book buying. Shopping mostly online this is a huge help.

There were a few samplers I read that I was curious about and since reading them I have put them on my wishlist to pick up

I don't typically get around to reading adult romances, nor historical fiction. However, I was delighted by the entire selection in this sampler, and will likely go on to reading each one.
The first one, The Orphans of Mersea House, was a work of historical fiction. Focusing on the life of a young woman who must collect herself after the passing of her mother. She must figure out how to navigate life without her, when an opportunity from an old friend arrives, allowing her a place to live and work to make a name for herself. It's to take care of the paying customers of Mersea House. I was captivated in the first two chapters and wanted it to continue.
The next story, I thought to be the least exciting was that of the Neapolitan Sisters. An when I say that it was the least exciting, I just genuinely did not enjoy the one sister, who I perceived to be too entitled to her big wedding and her demands that her sisters be present. It's okay for family to have boundaries. I did like the second sister, but I felt a little sorry for her. I would read more about it to see the family drama and potential resolutions.
To Get to the Other Side, while borderline Hallmark, it was definitely a cozy romance. I enjoyed the humor of her acquiring a chicken in the middle of traffic in Chicago. And the Meet-Cute opportunity I think was precious. I would definitely want to see how this story ends.
The last one, was a little sci-fi with what I can only imagine to be some Time-Travel Vibes. It's the story of a woman who gets a weird message from a guy who says he knows her...and come to find out she's his wife? I have a sneaky suspicion I know where this story is headed, but I'm sure I'd still like to find out. A very delightful sampler, and I will be recommending for purchase.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to get a hint at what's to come. My TBR list has grown already - love these samplers.

I love these samplers but my TBR definitely does not! There are so many interesting looking books coming out this fall, I can't wait! I think I'm most excited for Twice in a Lifetime and To Get to the Other Side.

I absolutely love digital samplers! Such a great way to get in the know on up and coming releases. The releases I'm most excited about are Twice In A Lifetime (just look at that cover!) and To Get To The Other Side.

Love love love love like always. And like always my TBR list grew, again. I really need to stop with these. But I can’t stop, won’t stop.

This was a nice sampler collection of some upcoming books. I've added several to my to-read lists!

Orphans:
This was well-written, but this isn't the style and genre I usually go for. However, this looks to be a promising read for fans of post-war historical fiction!

Neapolitan Sisters:
This pulled me in quickly. This looks like it'll be a strong read focused on the relationship between 3 sisters. The first two chapters already did an excellent job of setting of their relationships and the family dynamics, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

To Get To The Other Side:
Cute start for what looks like a promisingly light-hearted and fun romcom. The premise seems a bit wacky, and I'm worried that this could end up leaning into instalove, but I'll likely check this out

Twice in a Lifetime
Ohh, this was an intriguing start. I have a fairly good idea of the direction this is going, but stories that play with time are always so interesting. I'll definitely be checking this out.

Wow, wow, wow so many great book samples in this Fall sampler. Curling up by the fire in the Fall is going to be a favourite hobby with some of these books!!

Definitely found a few I will be recommending to friends from just reading the smaples myself

I also have a rather large list of titles I am certainly wanting/wishing to read on how good I thought the excerpts I read of the books were.

These new creations of multiple books in one really help when requesting new books. Reading through a couple of chapters from a book can really make you decide and think about the requests you are putting in for. This only made me eager to read To Get to The Other Side and The Orphans of Mersea House even more!

I love samplers but I do I wish they had featured all of their fall releases rather than just a select few.

Alcove Press has some excellent titles coming fall 2022. This is a great sampler of those books. Highly recommended to all readers.

This was a fantastic way to get me interested in these soon to be released books. Unfortunately this time around none of them caught my interested but I do look forward to sampling some more again in the future!

This is a good sample collect and I can't wait to read the full books when they are released.
