Cover: How nice!

I have a soft spot for abandoned places and urbex; there’s nothing more fascinating—or decadent—than snapping away at a derelict asylum or at a factory that has been foreclosed years ago. Some people debate about the legality of it, and I guess while urbex skirts the line there, it’s frowned upon here and so on. That’s not the point. The point is that it’s beautiful and I’m always happy to see the interpretations of skilled photographers.

Abandoned Train Stations enters stage right.

In time, I’ve come to expect the utmost quality from Amber Books, and once more I’m 100% satisfied with one of their books. The care about details, both regarding actual pictures or the accompanying blurbs, shines through the pages. I also appreciate the variety of the stations. They’re often an architectural delight to watch!

Not sure the ‘coffee table’ books’ is a fair definition. Somehow, it implies that these books are less important than regular books, just a pretty thing to look at. Well, it’s not so. Abandoned Train Stations is a great addition to your home bookshelf, where it belongs. 🙂
