Tavi and Dylan! Opposites attract and sort of a slow burn!
So Tavi is a social influencer who ends up is Tickled Pink at the request (or mandate) of her Grandmom. Once she is there she is matched up with Dylan, a Plummer, and the attraction starts.

As always a funny, delightful read from Pippa Grant!

This was such a fun story with very little drama which I appreciated. Octavia "Tavi" Lightly is part of the Lightly family and is sugar free & lifestyle type of influencer. She has a secret, she found she loves being on a cacao farm and makes really good truffles. But when her Grandma makes a shocking statement Tavi is forced to leave her happy place to return home to Tickled Pink. Dylan has had a troubled past but has worked so hard to turn his life around and works as a plumber in Tickled Pink. He is just having trouble as his best friend Hannah married someone else and he was sure she was the one for him. I loved the interactions between Tavi and Dylan.

“If I had to be born rich, I wish I’d been born rich in character instead. Rich in integrity. Rich in love.”

What draws me to this small town romance series is the spotlight on community. The message in Pippa Grant’s beautiful romcom, “Rich In Your Love”, is simple: the place where you belong is among people who believe in you, love you for who you are, and know 100% that you can rise above all the crap that crappy people give you.

The story continues from book 1 in the same summer in Tinkled Pink, where the socialite family - the Lightlys - have invaded the quietude and simplicity of the town. Grandma Lightly has each member’s trust fund on hold, including her granddaughter, Octavia/Tavi, in hopes that they’ll change their lives for the better so that they can go to heaven (influenced by a popular film that was made in that town).

Tavi appears to be an entitled, spoiled, and superficial vegan, though secretly she is a selfless, generous, kind-hearted, and hardworking sugar “n” meat lover. Why the secrecy? Well, it’s like what Julia Roberts says in Pretty Woman: “People put you down enough, you start to believe it…The bad stuff is easier to believe.”

Meanwhile, Dylan, the town’s plumber, sees Tavi’s true self. “There’s way more going on inside that skull than the world gives her credit for. And if I know anything about how hard a person can be hard on themselves, I’d be willing to bet she doesn’t give herself enough credit either.”

While it’s a romantic slow burn at its best, the story is entertaining. (Slide for synopsis) But what I enjoyed the most about it is seeing how Dylan and Tavi make each other believe in themselves…how to love their own self…how to accept a community of people who love and support and believe in you.

“Rich In Your Love” is book 2 in the “Ticked Pink” series but it can easily be read as a standalone.

Rich in Your Love is book two in Pippa Grant’s Tickled Pink series, and I adored this seemingly opposites-attract romance between two misunderstood souls looking for their place in the world. Tavi Lightly is a social media influencer who acts the part but her real love is the cacao farm she saved in Costa Rica. If only her grandmother hadn’t taken away her trust fund and forced her to live in Tickled Pink away from it. Dylan Wright was a troubled kid who grew up into the much-respected and liked town plumber, but he’s in love with a woman he cannot have for his own. Tavi’s newest project from Gigi is to help the town tourism - and she sets her eyes on handsom Dylan becoming a TikTok star. Little do they know, they have more in common than anyone could guess.

This book is funny, spicy, a little silly, and so heartwarming at the same time. I love Tickled Pink and hope we have more books to enjoy in this little Wisconsin town in the future!

Gigi and her weird plan o redeem her family's souls continues. Now it's poot Tavi's turn to feel the heat of THAT glare!

Tavi is living a way more complicated life than her family is aware of. Her whole influencer world is a sham and one she felt shoehorned into by her mother. Her real love - Chocolate! Now she's trying to save a Cocoa Farm in Costa Rica, save her soul and not kill her Grandmother in Tickled Pink - all at the same time! Then there is her crush on local plumber Dylan. Her charmed life is about to unravel at a rate of knots!

Dylan's reformed his bad boy ways and now he's the one everyone relies on. His FWB relationship with his best friend has ended and she's moved on and got married and is now pregnant. So he feels the need to move on too. He's drawn to Tavi - he can tell she's spinning more plates than she should be and hiding something from her family and he's determined to find out what.

Tavi had the epitome of an awkweird moment with Dylan and now she doesn't quite know to do with herself around him. I loved all the skullduggery she gets up too - it's very crafty! Dylan is the perfect pairing for her. My favourite scene in the book is quite near the end when he has a face-off with Gigi - it just gave me all the feels! As Tavi's double life unravels, she and Dylan just get bound closer together. I loved that Dylan just got her - didn't try to change her or make her feel less than.
He shores up her fragile self worth and she smoothes his edges and lets him see he's not that bad a guy.

They have chemistry of epic proportions and I loved meeting the inhabitants of Tickled Pink again. I must admit Lola and Carter have actually grown on me - I really do hope they get to have a HEA too!

Tavi is known for her sugar-free vegan influencer profile but what she really wants is to save her cacao farm in Costa Rica. In order to do that she needs her trust fund, but when her grandmother decides to cut the family off and move them to a small town Tavi is left to agree or lose the farm.

Tavi is tasked with giving back to the community by teaching Dylan how to be his own influencer. The hot local plumber is reluctant to the idea but he also wants to solve the puzzle that is Tavi. If it helps him get over his married best friend the. All the better.

Dylan is realizing Tavi is more than she appears but can they make it work when she doesn’t plan on staying?

I liked seeing the other sides to Tavi than the superficial. Dylan was endearing even though he felt he deserved less because of his troubled youth. A quick read with hidden bunkers, truffles, and steamy moments.

Thoroughly enjoyed Pippa Grant’s latest installment in the world of Tickled Pink WI. Octavia “Tavi” Lightly is the younger sister of Phoebe, the fMC in the first book, The One Who Loves You”. A social influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers, she’s known for her flightiness,, strict diet and vegan lifestyle. No one knows that secretly she is nothing like that, The girl loves cheeseburgers, shakes and most of all, chocolate. She secretly purchased a cacao farm in Costa Rica and is perfecting her own line of designer truffles along with secretly
Taking care of assorted employees, their families, schools and assorted charities. Her grandmother then has an epiphany after almost dying and forces the entire family to move to Tickled Pink, cuts off their family money and demands that they get their lives together or be penniless. She doesn’t know that Tavi is using her money for good works.
This is when the sun ensues.
In spite of a slow beginning this book became one of my favorites No spoilers here, just a recommendation to read Rich In Your Love!

Ahhhh I loved Octavia and Dylan's story in Rich in Your Love! These two both had huge hearts. It also made me incredibly happy to read about characters that had done so much personal growth. Pippa has created another wonderful fictional world of characters.

There is much more to Tavi than meets the eye. She isn't just the spoiled heiress influencer everyone assumes she is. Dylan, however, sees the real her and it was sweet seeing how they fell for one another. They each have their own difficulties and struggles that added some drama to the story but nothing that felt unnecessarily angsty.

The story moves at a nice pace and I thought there was a lot to love about this book. Rich in Your Love is a great read, and classic Pippa Grant with laugh out loud humor, loveable characters, and sweet and spicy romance. I think this is my favorite book in the series so far.

Tickled Pink - the name of the town that comes to mind when one thinks of redeemed souls and getting into heaven… right? Apparently a movie was filmed here many years ago on this subject and folks flock here in search of redemption - or so the town history goes.

I read (yeah - listened to, of course!) the first book in this Tickled Pink series, The One Who Loves You, immediately before picking up the ARC for Rich in Your Love. I’m extremely happy I did because there was so much backstory and family background given that wasn’t fully fleshed out in this second addition that I would have been pretty lost. It’s not a standalone but picks up very quickly after book one with a quick flashback to where Tavi (Octavia) was when Gigi’s phone call demand and threat came in to get her to drop everything and fly immediately to Tickled Pink, after her near-death choking experience and revelation.

We met Tavi and thought we got to know her in sister Phoebe’s book - but boy, did we not meet the real her at all! We met the Instagram influencer persona, the mask she hides behind with her vegan, gym-rat, no sugar, no fun, trust-fund, spoiled rich, mean-girl vibe. The real Tavi is kind-hearted and trying to do great charitable works behind-the-scenes with her money. She’s loving and truly great and good. She comes to Tickled Pink with the blackmail that Gigi will sell her Costa Rican cacao farm she’s working so hard to build and help the community with, hiding her truffles, and doing a lot of influencing to help out with bringing tourists and tourism to a dying town. She’s befriended the townsfolk and even trying to help the local plumber Dylan get past his unrequited relationship and become more appealing to other women by having him appear with her on Instagram videos… so why is she feeling jealous all of a sudden (especially towards “Tiny House” Lola), when she’s got to skip town again for that chocolate, last second?

I adore Pippa Grant’s writing, and especially how drastically different every single book and series is from each other. This new series (even the two books compared to each other) is such a departure from her other ones but I loved it just as much - especially because it does have her fantastic humour, brilliant writing style I adore, and she’s always been a pro with writing fantastic chemistry and steam. I absolutely recommend this for everyone!

I received an advance review copy from NetGalley and Montlake, and this is my honest feedback.

Trying to right the wrong

The Lightly family are a group of over privileged rich people whose matriarch grandmother suddenly decides to gather them all in a small town, to save their souls after being influenced by a movie with the same premise.  Little does grandma know that one of her granddaughters, Tavi was doing just fine starting a life of her own far away. With the threat of losing her inheritance she has no choice to give in to the spiritual cleansing. Sticking out among this small town community she attempts to connect with them but finds resistance for them all. Dylan is the hot unavailable one that she decides needs her help as much as she needs his to get her out of there and back to her start up business down south with her best friend. Of course she didn't count on taking more of an interest in him that definitely isn't helping her goal or her heart.
A quirky plot and some odd characters that when combined create quite the interesting read.
Thanks Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest opinion.

“I hate that they hurt you, but I’m so fucking proud of everything you’ve done to turn yourself into that delicious truffle that you are today. You’re fucking amazing, Tavi. So fucking amazing.”
🍫
Review: Rich In Your Love by Pippa Grant. Tickled Pink Book 2.
🤳
I’ll start with the obvious statement, this is one of my favorite book of the year! I adored so much in Tavi’s and Dylan’s story, themselves, the funny and steamy moments, the side characters who at times totally shined, the small town of Tickled Pink and much more. But it was the emotional side that got me a 100%.

I’m obviously not a trust fund girl or an influencer, but I related with Tavi so, so much. I really wanted to fight for her, for her place in the world, for her to be able to show her real self, for her to find an epic love, find real friends and for her to just be, without expectations. I also wanted to be her… with a golden heart, caring and loving. A woman who found what she loves to do.

And you know what? In her path to greatness, she found her perfect match in Dylan, the town plumber. He also has a troubled past and worked hard to be a better man. I fell hard over him, I’m totally in love with him. I liked that both of them were so opposites, yet they saw in each other their own issues and will to heal one another soul.

I laughed a lot with town’s shenanigans and the extreme also happened, I wanted to erase Tavi’s family from the world. I totally devoured this book and I didn’t want to end, so I hoped for a longer and in the future epilogue. That said, I wish for more books in the series so I can catch up with the couple. If not, Naomi deserves her own book, what a top notch friend.

Tavi is a social media influencer with a lot of secrets. She would rather be out of the limelight focusing on saving her secret cocoa farm, but she is stuck in a small town called Tickled Pink. This is due to her grandmother cutting of her trust fund access, which she needs for her cocoa farm, because her grandmother insists her soul needs to be saved and the only way to do so is by doing charity work in the town. Her first charity project is the town plumber, Dylan Wright, who has his own secrets. I adored Tavi and Dylan together. I loved how they were able to peel back each other's layers to see the real person inside. They helped each other learn how to forgive themselves for who they used to be and that it was okay to love themselves. They helped each other see that despite who they used to be and the bad things they did in the past, they still deserved to be loved by others. I was very entertained by the townsfolk and their interactions with Tavi and Dylan. I highly recommend this book! It has a perfect mix of humor, romance, sexy moments, wonderful messages and amazing character growth!

After reading the first Tickled Pink book, The One Who Loves You, I was excited to revisit the Wisconsin town where the wealthy, spoiled Lightly family were forced to live by their battle-axe grandmother Estelle "Gigi" Lightly in a misguided attempt to save them from an eternity in hell.

This story did not disappoint! Tavi and Dylan are two people hiding their real selves from the outside world, but they still somehow manage to see the real version of each other underneath all the baggage they carry from their past. I loved watching them help each other grow as people and fall in love in the process.

I adore this world that Pippa has built and this one just pulled be further in! Tavi and Dylan are perfect for each other and I found myself cheering for them the entire way. I love when I can find characters like this that it makes it this easy to fall for. It's a low angst, fun read for those that adore small town romance!

Welcome back to Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, where the Lightly family has taken up residence among the locals to try and save their souls, or something like that. Tavi is a pretty famous influencer who is not quite what she seems at first glance. She plays the ditzy gal to perfection. So much so that even though she wants more out of her life, breaking out if that mold is proving more difficult than she planned. Enter Dylan, TP's resident hottie. He is nursing his unrequited love to within an inch of its life and when whirlwind Tavi crosses his path, he isn't even remotely ready. This story was just so much fun, super sexy and enough emotional substance that I couldn't put it down

Ahhh it was so fun to return to Tickled Pink, WI in this second book in this series. In this book Tavi Lightly finds herself struggling to maintain her life outside of of Tickled Pink, where her grandmother has demanded she and her family live for the next year to become better people. Tavi is a social media influencer with a secret- trying to be a good person, she has been secretly been working to save a chocolate farm in Costa Rica and develop her own gourmet chocolate line, something she has to find a way to finance after her trust fund is locked away by her grandmother while she is in Tickled Pink,
Resident plumber Dylan Wright is haunted by the past and how he thinks things could have been. He has been doing everything to right his past actions as a teen but keeps letting his mistakes define how he thinks others see him. He meets Tavi and thinks she is a breath of fresh air once he gets to know the real Tavi and not the one she has pretended to be to protect her image.
I loved Rich in Your Love because both Tavi and Dylan were such complex characters, it was wonderful to read how they brought out the best in one another and made each other realize that they were both good people and brought out the best in one another. Bravo to Pippa Grant for such complex and flawed characters that were loveable and relatable.
All thoughts are my own, thank you to NetGalley for the eARC for my review.

The Lightly Family is still in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin as matriarch Estelle "Gigi" Lightly is forcing her entire clan to save their souls by helping the town.

Social media influencer Tavi is counting down the days until she finally meets Gigi's requirements for soul redemption. This way she can promptly jump on a plane to Costa Rica and get back to the cacao farm that she is trying to restore.

But Gigi is a hard rock to move, so when Tavi is charged to help the town's tourism, she crosses paths with Dylan Wright, reformed delinquent turned town plumber. Dylan is nursing his heart, which is unknowingly broken by his best friend Hannah. She is married to someone else, is now having her husband's baby, and has zero idea that Dylan has been in love with her all this time.

Dylan has decided that working with Tavi might be the key to distracting him from his Hannah problem, but as he starts to peel the layers that is Octavia Lightly, can he keep his feelings at bay?

If you have read the first book in the Tickled Pink series, you know to expect a wild ride with Pippa Grant's quirky small-town characters. And this book delivered.

You will feel a whole lot of things with this read: compassion, heartache, angst, joy, romance. I love the arc of Tavi and Dylan's slow-burn connection. They start as two people who understand each other when no one else in their life really did. They become friends and secret-keepers until they finally acknowledge that simmering tension every time they are in close proximity.

I love how despite their different paths in life, their circumstances have some common ground, the biggest one is living up to other people's expectations and perceptions. Dylan had done some crazy things as a kid, but the town folks in Tickled Pink have -- for the most part -- forgiven him for them. Meanwhile, Tavi successfully lives up to nearly impossible expectations but she rarely gets a break from the constant hustle.

This is the second book in the Tickled Pink series, but it can be read as a standalone. Grant does a great job of providing context for those who are new to the series.

** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Pippa Grant, Montlake, and Netgalley for providing an ARC. **

In this second installment of the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant, readers get to know Tavi Lightly - the flesh and blood human, not the plastic social media influencer.

Those who read book one in this series, 'The One Who Loves You,' likely recall that Tavi's grandmother had a near-death experience and decided to forcefully move her son and grandchildren to the small town of Tickled Pink. There, the family is tasked with rehabilitating an old school building while they work on their souls as they strive to become better people. (All while their evil grandmother does nothing to improve upon herself. Instead she just lives to torture.)

There is a lot going on behind the veil that Tavi has shrouded herself with, and underneath it all, she really doesn't even need to change. She just needs to get out from her grandmother's thumb. And she's trying. Man, is she trying. Meanwhile, she's also falling for town hottie and local plumber Dylan Wright. After spending his youth making trouble, Dylan is avoiding trouble now. And Tavi? She's trouble.

This book is a slower burn than I typically gravitate toward, and the pacing is a bit slow at times. Dylan fancies himself in love with another woman for a large percentage of the story. Author Pippa Grant writes an excellent villain in Tavi's grandmother - almost too good. She gets under a reader's skin and will drive them insane.

Ultimately though, this is a story about being yourself - not the person the world thinks you are, not the person you used to be, not the person your deranged grandma thinks you should be - but who you are. Everyone is worthy of love. Those are messages I can get behind.

Tavi is a successful social media influencer who wants to be running a cocoa farm in Costa Rica her family doesn’t know about. Unfortunately when her grandmother pulls her trust find unless she lives in tickled pink, WI and does charity work her plans are derailed. She meet Dyan there, a local plumber who is still trying to make up for his younger self and believe ‘the one’ has gotten away from him and has moved one. As these two work more closely together they start to feel more for each other. I enjoyed their journey and it was an enjoyable read.
