This book hit me with the feels. I wanted a wholesome second chance romance, and that´s exactly what I got. I was fully invested into the life of these characters and I was rooting for some cute moments between them all the time. The pacing was perfect and I couldn´t ask for anything more at the end. One of the cutest books I read in 2022.

I’m usually not a big fan of second chance stories. But I liked the original storyline the author chose.
The story has a good pacing and it was an easy read.
Because of the amnesia plot there were multiple funny and awkward situations!
The characters and their feelings where very relatable and had some depth as well.
It wasn’t only funny scenes, but also scenes where the characters where sad or doubtful or confused. I liked those little layers…
The character growth was also nicely done.
I liked the small grump vs sunshine vibe with Meyer being a bit grumpy and understandably cautious and reserved and Archie being this sweet, disarming golden retriever.
There was absolutely chemistry between Archie and Meyer! I like the fact that it’s a closed door read but still has all this sizzle and sparkle ;) They were cute together!
The secondary characters absolutely added to the fun and the story.
I would have loved a dual POV though.
In the end it was a mostly light, funny and heart-warming romantic comedy and I really enjoyed reading it! I would definitely read another book from Carina Taylor.

This was one that I found quite unique as a lot of amnesia based tropes aren't often written in traditionally published books anymore so it was nice to find a book that reflected this. I'm also a sucker for second chance romances as well.

What a great book! This book was fast paces and was simple to finish. I basically enjoyed this book.
especially considering how much I adored the two main characters. It was nice to read this, especially if you desire to avoid your commitments. Despite the obvious plot, it provided me with the comfort I needed!

A second chance at love rom com. Archie and Myer got divorced a year ago. Meyer instigated the divorce. Archie has amnesia after a plane crash and thinks they are still married. Meyer agrees to care for him until he gets his memory back.

Lots of amusing moments as both characters get to know each other again and show how they have grown and developed as people over the past year.

An amusing, fun read. Would have liked a bit more detail about their back story.

I wasn't expecting a second chance romance, but the title should have given me a hint.

Anyway, this was probably one of the most uninteresting books I've ever read. Like the characters are so dry and lacking in substance.

Meet Archie. Archie has amnesia.
Meet Meyer. Meyer has divorced Archie a year ago.
Plot twist: Archie thinks he is still married to Meyer. Still deeply in love.

This. Book. Is. Phenomenal! 🥑

This was a fun, easy, low angst read. The chemistry between the MCs was depicted amazingly. The story was packed with many hilarious moments which kept me in a cheerful spirt all throughout. I was down for all the quirkiness, cuteness, heartwarming moments, bickering, mischievousness, and the back & forth banter.

I really enjoyed reading Meyer and Archie’s second chance love story and the journey they went through. A true reflection of the hardships we all face and navigate in any marriage. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. To reap the good, you need to bear through the bad. This was an amazing representation of how sometimes true love needs us to stand up for and fight for it.

The time apart did them well. They were able to grow, figure out what they want, become their own separate person, and reconcile to give their love a second chance. And that epilogue was the cherry on the top.

It’s not shocking at all that I fell in love with another book of Carina. Her writing style has something that always works well for me and keeps me coming back for more. I simply get sucked into whatever ride she comes up with.

I genuinely believe you will love this redemption story as much as I did!

This will always be special to my heart as it was my first ever approved ARC from Netgalley.

Cute book!
This was a light, but sweet read! It is a hilarious second-chance romance that'll have you falling in love with Archie and Meyer. I like how it showed the ups and downs of their relationship and made it very realistic. I recommend this book, the storyline was great!

This reminded me of 50 First Dates. It was okay, I think that the characters were well written. The second chance romance was well done. But I felt that the connection was lacking.

Imagine you’re going about your day and then receiving a phone call from the hospital that your ex husband has amnesia and believes you’re still married. For most this is something that would be the last thing that would happen or even unimaginable. For Meyer, it’s a reality!

As soon as I read this synopsis, I was hooked. Second chance romance is always a guilty pleasure of mine, with the possibility of rekindling love and watching both characters (or in this case one) longing for the intimacy and the romance back is always something I enjoy reading.

This book is a very quick read. You get so interested in the story that you don’t even realise that you’re halfway through already! It’s such an easy read that I flew through this novel in two sittings! The characters were loveable, the plot was simple yet striking and the writing is so easy to read!

I have to admit, Meyer and Archie’s relationship made my insides feel like jelly! They were adorable! Archie is such a sweetheart! His actions and his love toward Meyer shines through and you can feel the love between these two characters. This novel is just pure love and affection rolled into a book that’s under 300 pages and I loved every drop that the author was giving me!

Carina Taylor has a new fan (and that’s me)! I can’t wait to read more of her novels!

I would definitely recommend this! It’s an easy and quick read to pull you out a slump! It’s cute, it’s fluff overload and it’s just what I needed! If you love romcoms with a side of second chance and lovers overcoming their fears, this is for you! I am definitely up for a reread!

Genuinely fun and enjoyable to read. Gave me Love and Other Words vibes. With lovable main characters, character growth, and a great plot this boom is a must-read.
My issues is with the “big fight”. I feel like it could've been bigger, it didn't seem as big as made to be.
Overall it was a good read and i do recommend

Forget Me Twice was pure entertainment for me. If you are looking for a fast, outlandish, second chance romance, this could be it.
In a nutshell, Meyer agrees to look after her ex husband, Archie, after he has an accident that causes amnesia and he forgets they are divorced. It has forced proximity, fun side characters and funny situations. I just wish we had a little more backstory so I could feel more connected to Meyer and Archie’s relationship.
Overall, this was an enjoyable and comforting read.

What would you do if you got a call from the hospital to say that your (ex) husband has been in a plane crash and you find out that he has amnesia and doesn't remember your divorced. Take him home of course and try to pretend that everything is fine.
This is a cute second chance romance. It's not the most exciting of stories as it doesn't really build up but I still liked how it all played out. I think the whole reason the characters divorced is a little bit ridiculous but I think that is the whole point of the story.
A quick, easy read.

Forget Me Twice by Carina Taylor has an interesting premise and fully delivers! Our main girl Meyer is in the thick of turning her life around and recovering from the divorce she went through last year. When a phone call comes in declaring that her ex ~literally~ crashed back into town and she's his only emergency contact, the situation only intensifies when it's revealed that her ex has no memory of the past two years. Archie still believes that he's happily married, and Meyer's under direct orders to not let him know about the divorce at the risk of impeding his healing process. As Archie begins to notice that something isn't quite right, he decides he's willing to do whatever it takes to fix their marriage. Can Meyer stop herself from falling in love, or will Archie remember everything and leave all over again?

I'm a sucker for second chance romances, but this was done particularly well! I struggle with premises such as 'an entire marriage unraveled over a simple misunderstanding', but this was far from that case. We get the backstory for two characters who truly both made mistakes in their marriage and are now more mature - and it shows! Taylor also adds a beautiful level of detail to their every day lives, absorbing the reader into their world so that they feel every emotion that Meyer goes through. There was certainly some witty banter/spice, but the book is ultimately a closed door romance.

Overall, just the kind of read I needed to get out of my reading funk!

2.5⭐

This book was a nice little Hallmark movie.

The book world is huge right now and when you tell a story you should make sure that it has something special, different from the others so it could stand out. The "amnesia" storyline is worn out and I was hoping that this would have a different line of events but I was wrong. This book was easy to forget. Not a single plot line was original, it was all made of cliches, and I usually don't have a problem intertwining a cliche as a part of your story, but please make it your own. There were a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies in a matter of a few paragraphs...There was no dynamic.
The characters were bland and there was no real chemistry between them. Some of the side characters were completely unnecessary.

A lot of questions were unanswered. I need to know the process of her finding out that her ex-husband is coming home with amnesia. How did she feel, what emotions that brought up? We didn't get that. He left, they argued, but what was it all about? We don't get to see the ugly side of Archie and why did he leave ... Why do we hate Archie? We are missing that part of the story, it is badly needed so that his redemption ark is strong. We can not fall in love while love is still there and not much of a determination to not let things hurt you again. <spoiler> We do get an explanation of their big fight and it is at the end of the book, but then it is too late. It did nothing for the story </spoiler>

This was a casual quick read and if you want an easy HEA then you should pick this up. If you are looking for some plot twists or deeply developed characters then maybe you should skip this one.

From the cover to the premise of the story, Forget Me Twice was a book I really liked! I found myself picking it up as much as I could throughout the day to get back into the story! I haven’t ever read the amnesia trope (that’s a trope, right?) and really liked the change in storyline for me. Meyer and Archie had a lot of history, and reading it all unfold and come to head really kept me going back to the book every chance I could for more. It was also a quick read for me and there really wasn’t ever a dull moment. It might be a smidge on the cheesy/farfetched side, but honestly that’s something I don’t mind because I’d rather read a little cheese than overly sad/scary elements in my romances. Overall Forget Me Twice is a quick, entertaining closed door romance that will put a smile on your face!

Meyer and her ex husband end up thrown back together after he has amnesia following a plane crash. But not everything is as it seems - will they fix the problems they had in their marriage first time around and get a second chance?
A great read.

When Meyer receives a phone call that sends her life spiraling back to the past, she must decide whether it's worth it to put her heart back on the line or if the past should stay where it is, treasured but forgotten.

As much as they I love reading initial love/first chance love stories, I'm absolutely in love with the idea of two people falling in love more than once. It tends to tug at my heartstrings in the best way. And this book was the perfect example of that. It was so so beautiful in the sense that it allowed the reader to experience two people falling in love a second time.

Forget me twice was an incredibly cute fast-paced read. As well as providing a swoon-worthy love story, it touched on many serious issues. This not only made it a wonderful romance read, but a great fictional piece of writing.

The development of both Meyer and Archie was incredible. I adored how much they grew through the entirety of this book. It, ultimately, made them a better couple the second time around.

As much as I love the romance in this book, I've got to give props to the twists and humorous moments as well. They were incredibly well done and really made this book a wonderful one.
