This was a thrill of a book. So much going on and very tense but I enjoyed. It covers a lot of topics that many consider difficult or taboo. The trigger warnings are definitely accurate.

Trigger Warnings:
Gun violence, racially-motivated violence, sexual violence, homophobia…. the entire time i was reading it (i WHIPPED through it in roughly 4 hours) my heart was pounding and i had so many theories and question…..

This confronting novel brings tough realities right into the reader’s face. The author does not shy away from difficult topics and some descriptions are so vivid as to be terrifying. Really well written and fast paced.

Firstly its good to read a female hero, Erin, who wants to save these girls as she gets caught up in a sex trafficking situation... quick thinking and clever hindsight, she knows that survival is the utmost importance.... There are some gory details and i winced a couple of times but reality is never cute.... This is a five star read
