Miles and Miles of You by Jennifer Bonds was fun and sexy!

I loved Bonds’ writing style! This is a fast-paced read. The chemistry between the main characters, Lucy and Miles was off the charts. I loved their playful dynamic spurred on by their witty banter. The couple would constantly challenge one another as they travelled along Route 66, making for some hilarious and sexy moments. This book is so good, I dare you not to finish it in one sitting.

As a new fan of Jennifer Bonds I can not wait to read more from her. Learning that this is the first book in The Heart Series has filled me with such joy. I cannot wait to read more about the Hart brothers as they find their own love interests. I will also be looking into her previous works as I enjoyed her writing so much!

I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of RomComs! While I did receive this book as an eARC, I will be purchasing a physical copy to add to my library.

Miles and Miles of You by Jennifer Bonds was a great read! You can get through it in a day and keeps your attention the entire time. I highly recommend it if you need a quick fun read.

I enjoyed the relationship between the two of these characters. Lucy worked for Miles as his assistant for a few years and up and quit when she realized he didn't care or really pay attention to what she was saying. She had enough and planned a two week long road trip across the united states to travel on Route 66.

Miles life fell into shambles and joined Lucy on her trip to try and win her back so she'll come and work for him again. The witty comments and fun banter really kept this book going.

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Lucy Gonzalez has spent the last several years of her life tirelessly scheduling the life of Triada executive, Miles Hart. As his personal assistant, she knows intimate details of Miles' life, but she seems to be background noise is his life. So, Lucy quits for her own venture, traveling cross country on route 66 in her grandmother's Airstream as the #SoSavvyTraveler influencer. However, just as Lucy is leaving, Miles realizes that he can't manage his life without Lucy. In an attempt to win her back to work, Miles invites himself on her road trip hoping that Lucy won't be able to turn down the bet he offers. Lucy is determined to make this work in her favor, but traveling in close quarters with the guy she's always had a crush on may not work out in Lucy's favor.

Miles and Miles of You is a super fun romance that goes from sweet to heat throughout the story. From the beginning, I knew Lucy would be a force to reckon with; although her job is to assist powerhouse billionaire Miles, Lucy is fierce, organized and knows what she wants out of life. The time on the road with Lucy and Miles was super fun, although it was a weird scenario for either character to agree to. I loved exploring Route 66 with Lucy and Miles, I just wish Miles had better intentions from the beginning. His backstory is intriguing, but it made his actions undesirable and unfair for Lucy. The steamy parts of the story were amazing and I enjoyed sinking into this romance from both Lucy and Miles' points of view.

This book was received for free in return for an honest review.

Miles and Miles of You 4/5 Stars
Summary from Goodreads:
Get on board with @SoSavvyTraveler!
Lucy Gonzalez might have once been a stressed personal assistant, but now she’s hitched up her grandma’s bitchin’ vintage Airstream and is hitting the road with all the best places to find cheap eats and see the sights on a shoestring budget.
And she has company along for the ride. If those thirst-worthy abs seem familiar it’s because they belong to billionaire Miles Hart. True story, he used to be Lucy’s boss until she quit on him. Something about not being appreciated? Anyway, you will appreciate Miles—and his groveling—plenty on this trip.
Now, you have front row seats to the hottest trip of the year. Sparks! Fireworks! Unexpected smooching! And you won’t want to miss the jaw-dropping surprise that will make this destination totally worth the hilarious journey…
Overall, Miles and Miles of You was a super cute, super fun read. There were definitely parts that left me scratching my head (like the beginning, I felt as though I was thrown into this world with little to no background and I had to piece together what was going on as the book went on), but overall, it didn't really impact how much I enjoyed the book. I really liked Miles as a character and love interest. I was a little iffy about Lucy at first, but as the book went on, I started enjoying her more and more. I think the whole travel influencer idea felt really out of left field and it didn't make sense to me, but it did make for a great plot story and a great way for Lucy and Miles to be together in a small amount of space for a long period of time. Plot wise, I think there were a lot of fun plot choices made and I did feel like it was so cool to learn more about the midwest- I know very little about Route 66, so that was fun! Pacing wise, everything also made a lot of sense. In general, I had a fun time reading this cute book and I can't wait to read the other two Hart brother books! Definitely grab Miles and Miles of You today!

This book was so much fun, I highly recommend it for a quick, feel good reading escape! It's the kind of story that leaves you with a silly smile on your face and in a good mood after you finish reading.

Our heroine is one sassy, smart, witty and independent girl, while the hero is the perfect sexy, swoony workaholic that is not very connected to the real life as he focuses on his startup company and has an assistant who manages everything else (even his personal life calendar).

So we have:

✔️one over-worked assistant who has had enough of her boss not taking her seriously or not realizing how much she has to deal with on the daily because of him (beside her crush on him obs). So when she's finally had enough and quits, she decides to go on a road trip and be a travel influencer.

✔️A charming, workaholic grumpy (with a side of sunshine) clueless boss, who finally realizes his life is a mess without her coordinating everything and decides to follow her to win her back (to work for him - what were you thinking?🤫). She reluctantly allows him to tag along but she doesn't make it easy for him along the way. 🤭

So we have forced proximity, How To Lose a Guy in 10 days (or a boss, in this case) theatrics, slow burn, groveling, roadtrip via sketchy places shenanigans, walls coming down, yummy "what are you wearing?" tension and spice.

I breezed through this book in a couple of sittings, the dialogue, setting, adventures and emotions were so well done!

I really loved the trip and what it represented too. It brought a lot of awareness and character development that were heart warming and inspiring.

While other readers may enjoy this book, it was unfortunately a dnf at 65% for me. The premise was intriguing, but the characters and plot weren't engaging. And while this was a short book, it took me far longer than expected to get through it.

Miles and Miles of You is a cute romantic love story that speaks to being brave enough to take a risk, be vulnerable, and have the courage to live out your dreams.

Lucy Gonzalez felt undervalued at her job at Triada as an administrative assistant. She was tired of working to make other people's dreams come true. She also struggled with having a big crush on her billionaire boss, Miles. Miles owns the fintech company with his two other brothers. So, she quits her job, which shocks her boss. Lucy tells him she will be a social media travel influencer, which sets off a series of challenges. He doesn't believe she can pull it off, which fuels her to set out and prove him wrong. Once she leaves, he realizes how skilled she is at running his life, and in an effort to have her return to her job, he manipulates his way to go on the road with her by making a deal. If Lucy flourishes as a social media influencer after two weeks, he'll give her the bonus she would have received if she stayed, and she can be on her merry way to continue her new career. On the other hand, if she fails, she will return to Triada with her salary doubled, and he'd hire an additional assistant. However, as they set out on the trip, their discoveries are far more than the sites they see.

Bonds tells the story from the perspective of Lucy and Miles. The story involves lots of inner and outer dialogue, and Bonds did an excellent job pulling it off with such ease. I enjoyed learning how Lucy was growing her business.

I selected this book to review on NetGalley because I am obsessed with travel. I also loved how Lucy was willing to shake things up. She had the courage to leave her secure job to pursue a less stable one that offered exciting adventures, new challenges, and pure joy. I'm trying to be that brave.

Lucy's sense of self-worth irked me a bit in this story. Yes, we can all be insecure. A few years out of high school, Lucy is learning about herself and the world. However, her confidence in her looks grew when the guy she adored and thought was out of her league told her she was beautiful. Lucy thought at one point, based on Miles' billionaire status and his looks, that of all the people, he chose her as opposed to Lucy knowing that she was enough and that Miles was lucky to find an independent, savvy and honest woman. I also thought Miles was very accommodating, and I don't know how many guys would have tolerated some of Lucy's antics.

While it took me a week to read, it's a fun read if you have a lazy weekend or go to the beach. Just be careful while reading it in public; some scenes will make you blush.

Favorite Quote: Life's too short to waste time on things that don't spark joy.

From "The things I do for lo— Lucy."

To "“I love you, Lucy Gonzalez, and I will always get the details right when it comes to us.”"

This book was a great read. The author did a fantastic job at the witty banter between the MCs. Lucy is strong, badass and independent. One of the most relatable female MCs I have ever encountered. And Miles was the best boyfriend material I've read about in a while. He has a golden retriever personality yet was still sharp when it counts. Although the blurb provides lots of grovelling and accidental smooches, the plot had the best twists and turns, despite not fulfilling the blurb. But in the best kind of ways.

Looking forward to the next books in the series!

3.5 upped to 4*
There are some very funny moments and some that requires a lot of suspension of belief.
I enjoyed it even if it took ages for Mike to note his feeling.
Entertaining.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine

Lucy has been in love with her boss forever. She is his assistant and does everything for him, but he never noticed her, until she quit.

It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, but it was the best one she made in a long time. She will take her grandma's airstream on a road trip and become an influence along the way.

While her life seems to get better, Miles's is falling apart. He is a mess without Lucy and is determined to get her back, in any way possible. So he goes along for a ride.

On the trip, in very close proximity he sees a whole other side of her and can't help but fall in love with her.

It's a hilarious story, full of funny and swoony moments. Their banter made me LOL many times and I loved reading the book from start to finish.

Highly recommend it!

Miles and Miles of You is told from two different points of view. First, we have Lucy who is the one wanting to go on the adventure and travel in her grandma's old airstream and become a travel influencer. She has everything planned and is determined to make it work.
Then we have Miles who is Lucy's old boss who has come to beg for her to come back and work for him, because without her he is lost. When Lucy refuses to come back to work for him, Miles instead insists that he travel with Lucy now and try and win her back. The two make a bet of sorts that whoever wins gets what they want.

They both don't make it easy for the other one along this trip, but that makes it soo so much more fun for us.

Overall I enjoyed most of this book. I did feel like at times things seemed a bit much at times. I loved the banter between Lucy and Miles and how they were able to travel together in such close quarters and really learn so much about each other one that they never knew before. As for the bet, I didn't see any clear winner happening because of how they had grown to become friends with each other throughout this road trip.

I could have done without so many sex scenes, especially because of how short this book was. They just made everything complicated and for me didn't add a lot to the story. I know other people will feel differently about them and probably enjoy them.

If you're wanting a quick and short road trip read then this is the book for you.

Miles and Miles of You | Jennifer Bonds
Forced proximity with an “I need you back/over my dead body” wager.

Lucy Gonzalez has had enough of her boss Miles Hart’s dismissive lack of attention! She keeps his life working like clockwork and he offers very little in return, least of all: the appreciation she deserves. Lucy quits and the temp replacing her falls incredibly short. In a desperate attempt to get his life back on its seamlessly organized track, Miles invites himself on Lucy’s career-changing adventure across the country. Sparks fly and the two arrive at the end of the road without clear resolution. They’ve both added much more to the story making a mess of grey out of a black and white competition. They’re left with a pile of real feelings and even more tough decisions.

I loved the local references as a Route 66 girl, myself, but this one missed the mark slightly. There were a couple of plot elements that were a stretch for me: Lucy’s departure from Triada seemed abrupt, Miles’ heartbreaker status was only vaguely represented, and I like to see chemistry simmer with a bit more depth. I also had a really hard time believing that Lucy would move on from Miles so quickly (though, maybe grape-stomp guy was just THAT incredible?!). I can’t pinpoint why exactly but I just didn’t connect with Miles and Lucy as deeply as I would like to.

Miles and Miles of You was like a perfectly enjoyable, but slightly awkward, road trip with friends you barely know at the beginning and only know slightly better at the end. Quick and spicy but I would have liked to love them more 

I'm guessing this was supposed to be a "don't know what you have until it's gone" situation but having worked together for a while it seemed weird that she never made it on his radar. It's like she was totally invisible to him as she silently crushed on him. Funny how it felt like it took him forever to really see her but at the same time his feelings for her came about too quickly without much storyline.
I did like a few quick banterings between them during the trip but just needed some more.
Thanks Netgalley for the chance to read this book and give my honest opinion.

After two years of being unappreciated and invisible as a personal assistant to Miles Hart, Lucy Gonzales has had enough. She quits her job to become a travel influencer, traveling Route 66 and trying to get over her long time crush on her boss. When he shows up being her to come back, she refuses, but then he makes a bet she can't refuse. Now she's such in tight quarters with him in her camper as they travel across the country and the attraction is impossible to deny.
This cute story has plenty of laughs as they battle the course quarters, visit crazy landmarks, meet the locals, and if course take plenty of Instagram pictures. I was laughing at the scene with Gizmo's great escape. I liked that Lucy continued to follow her dream and find her sassy personality on the road. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The heroine was the executive assistant to the hero for two years and has an unrequited crush on him. Feeling unappreciated, the heroine quit and left the hero to fend for himself at work. Desperate for the heroine to get back and continue as his assistant, the hero decided to come along with the heroine on her road trip. How will the two fares during the trip and will feelings change along the way?

This is the first book in The Harts series featuring a Texas billionaire hero and a feisty heroine. I enjoyed reading the banter between the main couple and how each discovered a lot about the other one during the road trip. I also liked the secondary characters that surrounded the couple, especially the heroine's unique grandmother. This is a fun romantic read full of Jennifer Bonds' distinctive writing style. I would have liked some more details in certain areas of the story, but my personal preference wasn't a deterrent in my enjoyment of the book. Overall, an entertaining read and looking forward to reading more The Harts books in the future.

What a beautiful and vibrant book cover!!! This book was so sweet & fun to read!

Lucy has been in love with her boss, Miles, for the past two years. He undervalues her and doesn’t appreciate all that she does for him. During their latest meeting, Miles is not listening so Lucy decides that she has had enough, hands in her two week notice and decides to become a travel influencer. Miles tries to talk her into coming back but she stands her ground and is scheduled to leave the next day for her trip down Route 66. The next morning Miles comes back again with a plan - he will go on this two week trip with her and even brings a wager to the table! They both did what they could to get the other to lose the bet. Lots of mishaps, lots of adventures, lots of fun!

I really enjoyed this book!.There are parts that I thought could have been a little shorter and others where I thought that it dragged out a bit but overall, it really balanced out really well. It was funny, sweet - even sad at times. I found myself feeling all the feels with this book! The characters are well developed - I especially love Grandma Celeste! I do think that Lucy looks a little desperate in the beginning with her unrequited love but without it she probably wouldn’t follow her dreams…I love the road trip aspect of the story. I would love to take this same trip one day!

I am so excited to find out that this book is a first in a series! I look forward to reading more about the Hart Brothers!

Thank you to NetGalley, Entangled Publishing and Jennifer Bonds for the Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

Tired of her boss Miles taking her for granted, Lucy quits her job to become a travel influencer. Hoping to win her back, Miles joins her on her cross-country Airstream journey. She tries to fight her unrequited crush on him, but he begins to see her in a new light. Will they part ways once they reach their destination?

I love Jennifer Bonds' brand of fun and flirty rom coms. Lucy and Miles are adorable together. The characters are well-developed, the plot whimsical, sensual, and emotional. So cute!

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

2 stars for this mediocre contemporary romance. The main issue here was the lack of depth to both the characters and their relationship. The first part jumped into the narrative too quickly, without enough background to the characters to make the reader invested. The setting of the airstream and route 66 was the most interesting part and is what kept me reading.
