Don't Call Me Home by Alexandra Auder is a better than fiction memoir that I absolutely devoured. The author's story is wild- born, (almost literally at the Chelsea Hotel) to a model/Warhol favorite mother and a filmmaker father, she spent her formative years bouncing between downtown NYC & Connecticut. But mostly, it's a tale of moving beyond your origins to become a whole person in your own right. Highly recommend!!
