The reader gets to know everything the killer thinks right from the beginning. Next mind invasion is into that of Birdie Kelley. Thus, the reader knows the answers to all of Birdie's questions about the killer. She is a former Pinkerton with prior history with one of the Homicide Detectives as well as having been an actress until a stage accident nearly ended her ability to walk. And now there's the addition of the Russian Mob! Very interesting plot and characters.
I requested and received an EARC from Black Rose Writing via NetGalley. Thank you.

Sounded like an interesting read, so gave it a try. Unfortunately, it didn’t tick the boxes for me and I failed to finish it.. Having other books to read, I may well go back to this one, but it remains on the shelf for now.
