Great book! Wow! I loved that ending! What his mom did!
This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder serial killer, and a great big game of cat and mouse! So many crazy twists and turns! The storyline was so very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book! Definitely don't miss out on this one! Its so worth reading! Bad Mother is a quickly-paced romantic thriller steeped in second-chance energy that is heavy on the suspense… which doesn’t let up until the novel’s conclusion.

When detective Sienna Walker finds herself back in the one place she fled eleven years ago and swore never to return, she’s determined to do her job and stick to her plan. Including avoiding the man who shattered her heart, Gavin Decker. But when a murder case draws him back into her life, old feelings and unanswered questions arise.

Having read some of Mia Sheridan’s other contemporary romance books before, I was excited to read her spin on romantic suspense/thriller. I was not disappointed. The story went a little heavier on the murder case than the romance, which I didn’t even mind because it made sense for the plot. I’m a sucker for a second-chance romance. Add in higher-than-your-average-contemporary-romance stakes and I’m all the way in. I will have to give Sheridan’s other books in this style a read, because she definitely delivers!

Fans of this subgenre and of second-chance romance (as well as anyone who loves a tightly woven story) are in for a real treat with this book.
