Lucy Kendall is unable to turn her back on cases of child abuse. Having to follow procedure took her from being a social worker to qualifying as a Private investigator, although she is not adverse to bending the rules there either. When she finds out about a child sex trafficking ring she is determined to cut it off at the head. Her last case had left police officer Todd Beckett suspicious of her methods & as she tries to navigate through the murky waters of the case events cast her as a suspect in a murder. Along with Chris & Kelly she struggles to find answers without getting arrested.

I really enjoyed the first in this series & it was great to be able to get back to these quirky characters so quickly. Another five star read & the next two to enjoy! Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this book.

The second book in the Lucy Kendall series by Stacy Green did not disappoint! It's called Little Lost Sould and just came out, the 30th of January. I received a copy from Bookouture via Netgalley.

Again, we follow Lucy Kendall as she fights for the lost children, the children who are being sold online and trafficked around the country. She can go beyond the laws the police has to abide by. However, danger lurks everywhere and Lucy really needs to be careful.

The books starts out absolutely brilliant. Your attention is caught immediately and I for one just needed to keep on reading to find out what Lucy would do and what would happen. The story itself is high-paced and filled with suspense. The characters are worked out well because this is a second in a series and now you get to know them even more.

I would recommend reading this book and this series in general as the main characters are extremely interesting and the stories grab your attention instantly.

4,75/5⭐

Undeniably unapologetic Lucy has become judge, jury and executioner when it comes to ending the lives of the pedophiles she manages to trap. She has become a vigilante and executes her mission despite her conscience not being clear. However, her self-appointed job that goes much further than being a PI, as the former CPD Social Worker is now facing something huge - there is a sex trafficking ring at large and Lucy is determined to bring it to an end.

Meanwhile, her new friend Chris tries to steer Lucy in another direction, and this is due to his disturbing past. While Lucy and Chris are drawn to one another there are several issues that take more importance than a relationship. Meanwhile, there is a detective named Todd Beckett who just might be on to Lucy and her dark activities. Both Todd and Lucy recognize that recent women that have been killed worked for a local Senator. As this second book in the Lucy Kendall series shows, there is a connection between Todd and Lucy that is explored.

The serious nature of this series is one that bodes the reader's attention as Lucy has her methods of achieving justice, but also the connected characters bring the story along as well. As this series continues, Lucy continues to work her own form of justice while other characters such as Chris, Todd and Kelly add an additional layer to this intriguing and sensitive crime thriller series. This thrilling book brings attention to the depravity leveled on children and other innocent victims. Although Lucy's methods might be unorthodox, she presents herself as someone to root for, while this book and all the books in the series prove to be stunning reads.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Thank you to NetGalley, Stacy Green and Bookouture for an ARC copy of Little Lost Souls (A Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller Book 2).

This book was fantastic. I really love Lucy Kendall. In this book she continues tracking down pedophiles and seeking justice for the victims.

There is a lot of unexpected twists that kept me interested in the story. Just when you think you figured it all out, something else happens.

I really like the friendship between Lucy & Kelly and Lucy & Chris. It's interesting to see how her relationships with them impact her. I also like learning more about Lucy and how she views herself. She has a lot of unresolved trauma and is dealing with her views on right and wrong.

It is easy to relate to her and understand where she is coming from. It makes the character more realistic.

I highly recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Lucy is back at doing what she does best, bringing down predators in Little Lost Souls (A Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller Book 2) by Stacy Green. Lucy’s character is developed more in this addition, showing some of her past and the demons that torment her. Darker, edgier and more chilling than thriller as Lucy goes against the vile underworld which has crossed over into other areas of life.

Lucy will stop at nothing to bring the vile ones down even if she is accused of murder. A twisty plot that left me off balanced for most of the story. Is Lucy a as sociopath or an avenging angel? The answer is hard to come by at least for me. However, this character will try by any means to save the vulnerable. Little Lost Souls will keep you guessing and reading.

Please note Little Lost Souls was previously published as See Them Run.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow, Stacy Green, you had me from page one in the latest installment of the Lucy Kendall series. Lucy is a former Social Worker turned P.I. who will do whatever it takes to bring child sex traffickers to justice or possibly death. She doesn’t play by the rules and disregards the law at every turn. She is determined, tough, strong and marches to her own tune when it comes to her investigations.
This series is not for the faint at heart. It is an extremely intense psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat with lots of twists and turns.
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.

My thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for these ARCs
📖📖
First of all, let me talk about our eponymous heroine. I don't like her and her intentions. She makes such a huge deal about what she does, but I felt like it was more about her than the kids. I also felt like she should have had a law enforcement background rather than being an ex-social worker. I felt like she was not equipped enough with abilities to carry out the acts.
📖📖
However, those criminals deserved what they got, if only they could get a stiffer punishment. This book really opened my eyes to the failings of the law, the law protects criminals more than they do children and it was really heartbreaking to read.
I'm all for innocent before proven guilty, but the law should be stricter if there are children involved.
While I would not advise anyone to practice what Lucy did, it was understandable, and my heart broke for what lucy went through.
📖📖
For the second, it was better than the first, I saw some character development in Lucy and I loved that. I understood her motives and I also loved the mystery. We had two mysteries here, can't wait to read the continuation of the second book. I also loved the cliffhanger ending .
📖📖
I'll definitely be reading more of this series because I've come to like all the characters

Little lost souls is Book 2 of the Lucy Kendall series and the story continues seamlessly from the first, Lucy continues to track down child traffickers & paedophiles and hand out her own brand of punishment but is she getting out of her depth and putting herself at risk. The sequel does build on the main characters going more in depth to their back stories and of course it has been left open for another sequel.

Former Social Worker and current private investigator/vigilante, Lucy Kendall is willing to put herself in danger to save the little lost souls being sold in Philadelphia. She puts herself in dangerous situations with violent people to find who is selling children. When a witness is found dead, with a strand of Lucy's hair near her body, the police name her their chief suspect. Working undercover Lucy makes contact with a young prostitute named Riley, who claims she knows the identity of the killer.

Stacy Green continues to dazzle and amaze me. I am a HUGE fan of her Nikki Hunt series and it has been just as fun getting to know Lucy Kendall and to dive into this series. Stacy Green knows how to write high tension investigative books. I loved being a fly on the wall as Lucy hunted down a killer while interacting with Chris from the previous book. If you have read the first book in the series, you will see some character development. Readers are reminded of Lucy's background and personal grief over her sister's suicide after being sexually abused.

Lucy is a champion for children while taking the law into her own hands. She does bad things for the great good or so she tells herself. She is flawed, tough, determined, strong, and never gives up.

Book Two in the Lucy Kendall series was just as gripping, tense and pulse pounding as the first book in the series, The Girl in the Pink Shoes. This one had me turning the pages at breakneck speed, wanting to know who was pulling the strings behind the scenes. Like Stacy Green's other books, this was well written, perfectly paced, and intense! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Riveting, tense, and well written.

Little Lost Souls is the second book in the Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller series. This picks up shortly after the previous book. It can be a stand-alone read, but I think it is so much more enjoyable starting at the beginning. There is so much history that is shared and continued into the next book.

Vulnerable teenagers are being taken off the streets in Philadelphia. Private Investigator Lucy Kendall can't help but feel as if she needs to do something to save them.

Lucy goes into the dark places where the police cannot with the help of her team. Sarah, a key witness is found dead, with Lucy’s long red hair located near her body, Lucy finds herself in the cross hairs of a killer and under suspicion.

Detective Todd Beckett is investigating Sarah's murder and Lucy's involvement. He suspects Lucy may be more involved than she admits but he also understands what she is able to accomplish.

Lucy may have underestimated her adversary as she dives deeper into the trafficking of children.

With each book it seems as if Lucy is getting bolder and taking more risks. She is putting herself in more danger and risks being caught. I really enjoy this series. It is an exciting thrilling ride along with Lucy.

Lucy Kendall is at it again in book 2. This one has her trying to save street kids being exploited for child sex trafficking. A well written story, but the content did make it hard to read at times. So sad what others do to others, especially kids. Would recommend.

Lucy Kendall is back flushed from her recent success and having got away with murder. She's determined to go after the trafficking ring that nearly got its hands on Kailey Richardson.

But to do that she's going to have to play a dangerous game and possibly expose her secret to the one person who is already suspicious of her Detective Todd Beckett.

Yet, Lucy doesn't care what risks she takes to bring down this ring. Only it seems she may have inadvertently trusted the wrong person.

However, with Chris and Kelly to back her up Lucy may find herself once again getting away with murder.

( A Lucy Kendall Crimme Thriller Book #2
5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After reading The Girl in the Pink Shoes which I thoroughly enjoyed, this is even better.
To save the lost children of the city, Lucy must put herself into terrible danger…
Indeed this is "A gripping, page-turning thriller full of mystery and suspense"

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and the Author for this ARC.

I flew through this book... such a Page turner.
Plenty of suspense to keep me guessing I love that the twists that come right down to the end.

The character development in this book is outstanding,

Though i dont agree entirely with Lucys methods, killing child molesters, traffickers and other bad people who hurt, use and abuse young boys and girls isnt the worst thing that could happen.

The story will have you wanting to know more about Lucy and now I can't wait to read book #3
I can't recommend this author enough.

It's still hard to believe that such awful things are happening to young children in this world.

This is book 2 of The Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller by Stacy Green. In order to save the lost children of the city of Philadelphia, Lucy goes into dark places that the police can't go but a strand of Lucy's long red hair is located near a body and Lucy finds herself under suspicion. Riley claims to know who the murderer is but Riley is now missing. This is a gripping page-turner. The book has great characters. Chris Hale is a friend of Lucy's and Detective Todd Beckett isn't sure about Lucy and thinks she may be a killer. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you love emotional reads then you will love this book. Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for a copy for an honest review.

First, thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy. Next, this is the 2nd book in the series and I am not sure if I will be reading any more. I found this slow and boring until basically the last chapter. I like the people around Luc.y. Kelly, Freddy, Todd,Chris, Justin, I just don't care for Lucy. I don't like the way she takes justice in her own hands. Just my thoughts and opinion

After having read the first book in this series I couldn't wait to start reading this to fin out what happens next. You can read this as a stand alone book as it updates briefly what happened in the first book. The work of Lucy along with other people that are involved in her life carries on. She is ruthless and won't stop at nothing to try and help the innocent children and try and free them .
I am now reading book 3 in the series and highly recommend them.

And the action just keeps going....

In book 2 of the Lucy Kendall series, Lucy who is an ex CPS worker turned PI/vigilante, has graduated from targeting individual child predators to a trafficking ring after seeing the young girls she saved in a previous being auctioned on the dark web, but has she bitten off more than she can chew? We also see Lucy succumb even more to her darker side, what she is willing to do for her cause.

I love the dynamic between Lucky and Chis and Stacie has me speculating what direction their relationship may take in the future. When a key contact Lucy has targeted for information is found dead, she finds herself under suspicion for one murder she did not commit and Todd Beckett continues to be a surprising alley considering his suspicions of her having murdered two brothers.

This will be a series that you will need to keep reading as the end in book 2 is a nice set up for book 3, the next target on Lucy’s list and an extra twist leaving it open to an additional story line to continue.

Luckily, all 4 books are being released on Kindle Unlimited on January 30, 2023 so you can download and binge read them all at once, or you can order in paperback which has just been released.
