This was a great selection of excerpts from books to come. I am really excited about most of these--a good selection of various authors, some I was familiar with, some I was not. It is always great fun to curl up with stories that are unexpected and hear voices and perspectives that are completely new to you.

It's been a while since I've read one of these, but it's just as delightful as I remember! It's great to get a taste of what's coming up, and I ended up adding several upcoming novels to my list on top of the ones that were already on my radar. I love that there's a mix of debut and established authors.

Buzz Books 2023: Spring/Summer is the 22nd volume in the popular sampler series. As always, Buzz Books presents passionate readers with an insider’s look at 55 of the buzziest books due out this season. Such major bestselling authors as Ryan Holiday, Nancy Horan, Kate Morton, and Abraham Verghese are featured, along with literary greats Jamel Brinkley...

Fiction is broken down into categories such as Notables; a very long list of Debut authors; and Commercial Fiction. A whole range of non-fiction categories are included as well as several Young Adult titles.

There are so many enticing new titles and authors in the Spring/Summer edition, that although I tried to be selective, it remains to be seen whether I was successful. I've requested a number of titles already!

First introduced for the 2012 Book Expo America, the FREE digital Publishers Lunch Buzz Books has become the place for both industry professionals and book lovers in general to discover and read about the books expected to spark high demand BEFORE they are published!

What's really great is that after many selections, you have the option to follow a link and request the complete galley copy from Net Galley if you qualify as a 'professional' reader.

Check out Buzz Books on Amazon. Did I mention it's FREE!

Be sure to look out for Buzz Books 2023: Fall/Winter, coming in May!

This was a really cool concept. I enjoyed getting to peruse the upcoming releases! I haven't read anything like this before, but enjoyed it. I will not be posting online about this though. I am not quite sure how to review it.

How is this my first BUZZ and I missed the 21 Samplers that came before it? This publication is exciting and overwhelming in all the right ways. There are SO many upcoming titles captured in one place, plus bonus content for specially selected 55 titles:

* Buzz Books is extremely well formatted, and it organizes the 55 excerpts into four main categories - Fiction, Debut Authors, Non-Fiction, and Young Adult
* You can click-through to a specific excerpt directly from the Contents page if you get excited right from the beginning and can't wait to page through the other stories.
* The excerpts begin with a color shot of the cover. Each excerpt includes a blurb about the author and publication details at the end.
* There's a super convenient link at the end of each excerpt that allows you to request the full Galley from the publisher & NetGalley.
* Buzz Books gives you a substantial chunk55 from each book to sink your teeth into and really get a feel for the work.

Works I’m excited to read more about:
- How To Love Your Daughter, by Hila Blum
- Throwback, by Maurene Goo
- The Librarianist, by Patrick Dewitt
- Witness, by Jamel Brinkley

Buzz Books is easy to navigate, provides a lot of great content, and gives a fantastic peek into what's to come.
