Thank you Netgalley for letting me review this book in exchange for a review!

This book has so many great tools to help build confidence. It helps you understand your thoughts and feelings and how to make them more positive and confident. I loved all the tests you could take and the activity workbook.

I found this a Great book that provides an abundance of helpful ideas on how to improve confidence. The activities that make you look at how you could grow and challenge yourself. I enjoyed learning about assertive skills and ways to step out of your comfort zone.
Highly recommend!!!!

Every once in a while you just need to brush up on you. This story is one of those where I could pick up and read small parts here and there when I just need to take a moment to reflect, breathe, and recenter my goals and priorities.

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, what I need is a work/life coach but is an indulgence I could never afford, then this book is for you. For the price of a book, you will have yourself a mentor, a voice that will help you establish where you are now, where your strengths are, and how you can improve on them.

Like all self help books, this isn’t a quick fix magic wand. The reader does all the work. And you’ll be doing a lot of that. So grab yourself an A4 size notebook and some of those index tabs and sticky notes and get your thinking cap at the ready. Throughout the book there are quizzes for you to complete, which will help you analyse different aspects of your levels of confidence. There’s lots of helpful tips and advice on how to talk yourself up rather than putting yourself down. Recognising the skills you already have and how you can improve on them. Relaxation tips and short breathing exercises is a really helpful section in the book.

We could all use a boost to our confidence from time to time, and who better to give that boost than you! Gary Wood and Confidence Karma will show you exactly how to achieve it.

I chose to read the book as I’m a terrible procrastinator. I will put everything off right until the last minute, until the pressures of time force me to get on with things. They do say procrastination happens as a result of fear. Fear of getting it wrong, fear of not achieving what you set out to do, and for me a fear of getting bored and not seeing something through to the end. After reading this book, I honestly think it could help with all of that. It’s an interesting, informative and helpful book, easy to read and digest. However this is the kind of book you’ll want to keep by the bedside to dip in and out of regularly, after all, confidence doesn’t just happen, you have to work at it.

I thought this was really interesting and had some really good snippets of advice. As with a lot of self help books a lot of it is common sense but it’s framed in east manageable nuggets of advice. It’s the sort of book I wish I’d read ten years ago.
