I found this to be an excellent devotional for teen girls, and anyone else. The title is appealing, for who doesn't face hard times in life sometimes? The devotionals are a page long, with a Bible verse, short paragraphs following, and a prayer. Some of the issues addressed are having fun (accepting joy when things are tough, even), handling worry with prayer, knowing that God has great plans ahead, being wrapped in God's love, learning as much as you can, etc.
I appreciate being able to read this e-book, compliments of the editors. The thoughts expressed are my own.

180 Devotions for When Life is Hard by Rae Simmons is perfect for teenage girls! I was interested in this copy to add to my school library, but then I realized that since we have a 2-week checkout, a devotional might not be the route to go. However, I continued reading it to recommend it to students who might ask about religious content.

The digital copy includes copy that is teal blue and pink, which will attract many teen girls. Each devotion is set up with a Bible verse and commentary, followed by a prayer. The devotions are quick and easy reads, a factor important in today's digital natives who digest social media content in short snippets. The author addresses topics important to teenage girls, such as relationships, fear and anxiety, peer pressure, and more.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

While the devotions were relevant to today’s world I found them to be a bit simplistic for teenagers. I decided to have my 15 year old granddaughter read as well. She also felt it was overly simplified.

Any Bible reading by teens is good but I am not sure this would keep their attention.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an E-arc in exchange for an honest review.

The perfect bite-sized devotions that deal with real life topics and provide strong, biblical answers for countless things a teenage girl might encounter.
Rae Simons does an excellent job explaining and connecting scriptures to situations in a way that is enticing and easy to read for young teens.
The devotions are a bit short for me but I think would be perfect for younger teen girls wanting to start a relationship with God and/or start a habit of spending regular time with Him.

What I liked most about this devotional was how relatable the devotions were. I thought the author did really well at explaining the verses in a way that a teenager could understand. I liked how there were different subject matters and how every devotional points the reader to the Lord. A great gift to encourage a teen to begin or continue the habit of daily devotions.

An attractive and inviting devotional for teen girls, this book engages and encourages. Each day’s reading has a catchy title and a brief description of a typical teen situation, issue, or concern. Then a paragraph follows with a Bible reference that relates to the problem. The title will appeal to Christian teen girls.
