This is a solid step by step how to self publish. It’s very systematic and is helpful if you’re new to the world of self publishing.

Really enjoyed the education from this one and went on the site to download some of the worksheets as well.

Having been a self-published author, I have been familiar with Chandler Bolt’s material for a while. But I wanted to give this newly updated version of his book a go. The audio is good, done by the author himself, and it feels a lot like his podcasts or webinars with how conversational it is. But I think that could be a style that many audiobook listeners don’t enjoy. He gives a lot of good nuggets—especially if it is your first time every writing or publishing a book. However, it is really only nuggets that work well for nonfiction. If you are a fiction author, this would probably be a skip in my opinion. He should really explain that himself. Also, Bolt is very salesy. To the point where I think it can feel a little slimy. So this book feels a lot like a sales pitch for his further programs. If that was cut out, it would be a much shorter book but also much more resourceful for the reader.
Also, I’ve heard from others that these books are available on his website for free—in exchange for your email address of course.

This book has been a great listening experience. Thanks to the author and the publisher for bringing this book to life.

Excellent advice on how to get published, well-written and highly valuable information, especially for someone new to marketing a book or self-publishing.

Whether you're an aspiring writer or already have a few books out there, Chandler Bolt's book "Published" can teach you something you didn't know. He makes it very easy to demystify the publishing process, and, maybe even more daunting, the marketing process. Highly recommend for aspiring writers out there!

Jam packed full of great and very informative tips for writing and publishing your book. I really enjoyed this one, sparked many ideas and pathways for publishing.

Chandler Bolt does a great job of breaking down the process into easy-to-follow steps, and he shares his own experiences and insights throughout the book. If you're serious about getting your book published, this is a good resource.

I'm always looking for sage writing tips. I love that the author covers a bit of everything. From blank page to launching.you an definitely find a few nuggets here.

this was okay, but i didn't find it particularly helpful. it felt like it was pushing their agenda and their business more than it was helping emerging writers, and pushed self-publishing more than anything else which is fine but not right for everyone.

I found this really helpful. If you are just starting I think this is a great start!

I only got to listen to about a third of the audiobook before it disappeared from the NetGalley app (despite the fact that I had it downloaded). But from what I did read, this book is filled with useful information about how to go about writing and publishing a book that's great for anyone who is just starting out.

I wasn't a fan, I wish I were. It might be due to the fact I've got a degree and master's in publishing but I felt that a lot of the points were common sense, obvious or if anyone has done any education or training, they know it all already. I also don't feel like there's a one size fits all approach nor a, this might work for you but not everyone. If you're new in the publishing world and know nothing at all, read this book. If you know a little about the publishing world or more than a little, give it a miss.

I was in desperate need of this book. I want to write and publish books more than I want to do most things. I need to get started. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to publish. This is the ultimate how-to. I'll be rereading parts soon.

This audiobook has some useful and informative tips for anyone who wants to learn more about writing and how to publish a book, but there is a lot of self-promotion from the author and personal anecdotes which I think distract from the subject matter. I also really struggled with this audio mainly because I found the narrator to be quite grating. It was a very chatty style and this made the audiobook feel a little unpolished, and like it needed some extra work.

As someone interested in writing, I found this audiobook interesting. I would have liked less self promotion and more practical advice.

I did find this book quite motivating and as a digital marketer found a lot of the content was very relatable for how I would recommend marketing any business or brand. I found Chandler very engaging too listen to. Would definitely recommend for all aspiring authors.
