You will find easy-to-fix, plentiful recipes here that will feed at least 4 people! The breakfast recipes range from a farmer's breakfast with bacon, cheese, sausage and eggs made in a skillet, to a baked French casserole made with bread, eggs, syrup, cinnamon which is layered, refrigerated overnight and baked into delicious looking French Toast, and a breakfast pizza delight which has tomatoes, sausage, eggs, cheese , bread and milk layered and baked in the oven.
There are cheese quiches, a raspberry cream cheese breakfast casserole, and scrumptious apple oatmeal pancakes to try, most of these are made in a 13 x 9 inch pan or a griddle.
The cheeseburger salad uses hamburger, pickles, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce to make a delicious topping for lettuce, and there is even a recipe for homemade dressing!
The oriental salad looks healthy with chicken, water chestnuts, chow mein noodles and a tangy homemade dressing.
Enjoy these one pot wonders and save time in the kitchen!

I love reading Wanda Brunstetter’s Amish books, so I was excited to read this cookbook. Mrs. Brunstetter weaves in stories and pictures, along with the recipes. I am a busy, working mom. I like recipes that are delicious AND easy. This book checks off both of those boxes for me. Many of the recipes use ingredients that most home cooks will already have in their house. That is another plus.
This is the book you will go to when you need something for a quick family dinner. And one pan makes clean up a breeze!
I would like to thank Barbour Books and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Wanda Brunstetter's cookbooks are widely known for their recipes based on the Amish lifestyle. This cookbook, the one pan wonders cookbook is no different. It provides recipes, from the Amish, that can be made in one pan. This is key for busy, working mothers everywhere. The recipes seem easy enough, with ingredients that can be easily purchased. There are a multitude of recipes provided across many meal categories: breakfast, supper, salads, soups, desserts, and quick breads. As they are "one dish/pan" creations, there is also not the need for additional side dishes which will excite working parents everywhere. This is another gem of a recipe book of Amish recipes by Wanda Brunstetter. Another one that you will want to add to your recipe book shelf. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the small sampling of recipes.

This sample of Wanda Brunstetter’s Amish Friends One-Pan Wonders Cookbook left me wanting to see the entire cookbook! From this sample, I believe this will be one of the best ones yet. Pictures are beautiful and recipes use normal, everyday ingredients. I highly recommend it from just the sample. This will make a great Mothers Day, bridal shower, or birthday gift as well as an addition to any cookbook collection!
A copy was provided by NetGalley but these are my honest words.

I received an ARC of this cookbook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a fantastic cookbook. It contains delicious, homestyle recipes that would please a wide variety of people.

Based on the sample, this cookbook features recipes that are high in animal fats, sodium, refined sugar, and processed ingredients (like canned soup). I'm not interested in those sorts of recipes. .However, a complete ARC might reveal a cookbook with more variety and nutritional heft, so I do wish the sample had been bigger.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. This was only a sample book so just the first 50 pages. But I loved the recipes. They are very easy down home cooking. I can't wait to read the entire cookbook and highly recommend.

This review is of the sample of this cookbook. The breakfast recipes look mouthwatering! Hailing from Pennsylvania, these recipes are a slice of home. I’m already planning to make the French toast casserole for my family this weekend. I believe the blueberry coffee cake will be flawless as well! I like how the recipes are organized in the book, as well as the insightful introduction to the authors culture. The photographs of the dishes look appealing and to be honest I’d love to access the entire book - casseroles and skillet pan meals are especially appealing to me with a busy life. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the preview sample view.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC sample of this new cookbook. The photography is beautiful and many of the recipes in the 50-page sample have photos of the completed dish. The photos at the beginning of the sample of the Amish countryside made me yearn or a drive through that beautiful area of the country. The sample pages I received to review were the first 50 pages of the book, so almost all of them were breakfast casseroles containing eggs. I'm not much of an egg person so I moved on to the next session: Plentiful Salads, which was much more my style of things I'd like to eat. The Delicious Macaroni Salad is definitely one I would make, minus the boiled and chopped eggs. The Pasta Salad on the next page also looks delicious and relatively healthy except for the dressing which starts with 1 quart of mayonnaise (can that be right, FOUR CUPS of mayo?).

I'd love to see some of the recipes for the main courses, especially the baked chicken featured on page 5 of the sample! That really looks delicious!

I found this cookbook to be very well thought out. I really like the composition of the photos used. I did notice a few spots where clarification or substitutes could have been listed for unusual ingredients but nothing a quick google search can’t answer. Of the available recipes in the sample I think my favourite was the blueberry coffee cake. It is well thought out in progression and I’m excited to try the rest of the recipes.

A SAMPLE is always a tease but it was enough for me to know that I want this book for our library and for our home cookbook shelf. Easy recipes with ingredients that you will probably have on hand and one dish is awesome as it means fewer dishes...I am the only one who does the dishes in my home so I feel the pain!
A wonderful book, which along with her other cookbooks, I recommend far and wide despite the few pages that I read.

The sample was short but gave enough of an idea of what the recipes are like. This seems to be standard Amish type cooking. The recipes are not low fat or stylish. Just plain old fashioned cooking. Although I don't cook this way I enjoyed the pictures and taking a tour of Amish Cooking.
