From Bitter to Sweet is book 3 in the "Coming Home" trilogy (which is part of "The Way to a Woman's Heart" series. While this book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel, I believe you would have more insight into side characters if you read the others, especially in order. I read this as my first in the trilogy and will go back for the other two.
Lianna's life exploded a year ago when she found her husband cheating on her. Now, she has moved to a new home, is happy in her work life and is ready to take a chance at dating again. Kincaid is a construction man who won the bid for the addition to her home and will consider starting something with someone special. Will their connection last through the ups and downs of life?
I enjoyed reading this book. The main character build was good. Overall, it was good and I was able to immerse myself in the setting. The ending wrapped up a little too quickly for me. I would have loved to see a bit more conflict before the HEA.
There were discussions of infertility, pregnancy loss, fake pregnancy, and lies.
Thank you to Sheridan Jeane, Flowers and Fullerton and NetGalley for allowing me to read this advanced copy.
