This was such an easy book for me to read. I really enjoyed the tropes in this book. I can never get enough of workplace romance. Plus many more tropes that I love. Definitely give this romance a read, you won’t regret it

I don't generally love the accidental pregnancy trope, but Pretty Little Mistake was actually pretty cute! This is a good grumpy-sunshine, second chance story with a lovable FMC and a MMC whose adorable gestures showed how much he really cared for Lennon and made him my favorite kind of grump. The development of Lennon and Beckham's relationship felt realistic, though this could also cause the story to feel a bit too prolonged, and I was really rooting for them. This was a cute, quick read that I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed Pretty Little Mistake by Micalea Smeltzer. Beckham & Lennon were so great together. I loved their chemistry and connection. These two were so fun to read about.

I was honestly so invested right from the start and all the way through their story. I couldn't wait to finish and see what happened and didn't want to put this book down, but also I kept wanting to slow down to savor the story because I didn't want to leave this world behind.

These characters were so good, and I felt like they were so genuine and real. I just loved them so much. I highly recommend this one, I think readers will love Beckham and Lennon as much as I did.

This book was unexpectedly heartwarming. I went into it blind, and I had not read any other works of the author, and I was blown away by how much I liked this book. The banter between the characters was *chef's kiss* and I especially loved how the Lennon and Beckham dealt with their surprise baby.

This was unfortunately not my cup of tea. The plot and the characters did not resonate with me and I did not enjoy the story as much as I hoped.

tropes: grumpy sunshine, fluffy, and surprise pregnancy.

I've long been a fan of Micalea Smeltzer so when I heard about this book, I knew it was a no brainer that i'd need to read it. Pretty Little Mistake is a contemporary romance with all the tropes. Grumpy/sunshine, childhood friends, enemies to lovers, unrequited love, brother's best friend, forced proximity/workplace romance, surprise pregnancy and second chance.
In this story we get characters Lennon Wells and Beckham Sullivan. These two have a shared past where they both thought they had moved on. After a decade, these two are now stuck together working for the same magazine and to make matters worse, their bosses pair them together on the same project. They now have no choice but to work together and interact with one another.
Slowly, you can feel the tension, connection and chemistry between these two. Beckham didn't have a great childhood and owes alot to the Wells family who were his saviors. He believes he has nothing to offer and isn't good enough for Lennon, but she has a way of getting under his skin.
Overall, this was a great read. I loved the characters in this story, the witt and banter.

Do you know Ms. Smeltzer who has broken records with her Wildflower Duet, and now she's back with Pretty Little Mistake - second chance romance in the office? So who is ready for some emotions? Not as big as in The Confidence of Wildflowers, but I can vouch that the style and storytelling got definitely better.
Our main characters knew each other a long time ago, and due to some circumstances were not in favor of each other, to say the least. Now they are together on an assignment... and this will bring out action into a rollercoaster! Sento on a trip together... one evening full of somewhat mistakes - and then BAM - Lennon gets pregnant (this is not a spoiler - mentioned in the blurb), and now all hell breaks loose for her and Beckham.
We are joining them on the way to understand each other, getting together, and how they can explain what is exactly between them. I think I can say that in this story I connected with the hero much better, as the heroine was only okay as sometimes she was annoying me with her comments on the baby (but I got it as her coping reaction). In the end, I can say that it was a nice story and I can see that the author is growing with it!

This is a good book. The two main characters are Lennon and Beckham. They have known each other for all their lives. They had a one night stand when they were teenagers and then didn’t see each other for years. Lennon get a job at a magazine in New York. On her first day, in walks Beckham, he is the photographer for the magazine. They fuss at each other. They start dating and Lennon finds out she is pregnant. They have a girl and fall in love.

This book has the second chance, pregnancy trope. I usually dont like these that much but I absolutely adored this story!

The author really kept me interested in the story between Lennon and Beckham.

Also, the fact the author used my horse’s name in the book is a bonus for me 🙈🫣

4.5⭐️

One of the best pregnacy trope Romances I have ever read. I adored this story, it's so underrated! Micalea Smeltzer was a new author to me but I will check out her other works for sure. Her writing is sharp, hilarious, heartwarming and has such an addictive quality to it. I read this book in like two sittings and it left me with that fuzzy feeling after.

It's giving me The Hating Game vibes, what with all the banter, witty smart characters and office rivarly shenanigans.

Despite the usually not a favorite trope, this was such a light, fun adorable story. It made me giddy and kick my fert in the air and giggle and swoon over these characters and their unlikely, unwelcome but perfect Romance. The way they went from shocked to what did we do to taking full responsability and trying their best to make it work with their new situation was very mature, natural and inspiring, as they tried to battle work, new feelings, new adulting situations, living together and creating a strong family.

Also, the tension, the spice, the growing, the one liners, it was all fun. Loved the dual POV, he fell first, "she is mine", "anything for you" vibe. Beckham is top book boyfriend and makes it impossible not to fall for him, despite the alpha hero growsy tendencies at the beginning. He was such a goner and Lennon was a total badass. They kept each other on their toes and I lived for it.

Low on drama, high on sexual tension, biting remarks, growing and falling in love in the most intense but natural way, this story gives a whole new spin to the billionaire Romance vibe.

Totally recommend it! 4.5⭐️

Memorable quotes:

“Life, I guess. It’s ironic, hilarious, and sometimes downright cruel.

”He rubs his jaw. “It’s nice to have a worthy opponent.” I turn to him with narrowed eyes. “You’re so weird.”
“I’m aware.”

Beckham Sullivan is dangerous— for my mind, my body, but most importantly my heart.

Is this what it means to be whipped?

This was a really interesting and entertaining take on the accidental pregnancy trope, which i don't think is an easy trope to pull off. Michaels Smeltzer does it again!

The book is good and relates to everyday life and people in the best way, I love that they got a reunion and fell in love. But I have to say this is not one of your best books. Like to see more books like the boy who crept through my window.

I highly suggest this book if you’re looking for grumpy sunshine, fluffy, and surprise pregnancy. It’s also an office romance and second chance. I will say that some of the side characters annoyed me but nonetheless it was great

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC.
