I’m honestly really sad that this is the last Finley O’Sullivan novel. Following her story has been so awesome. I think I liked this one the best out of the 3 books. The only thing I would’ve liked would be an epilogue on what happened with Finley and Matt, like if they got married or had children. But other than that, I thought it was an awesome series overall.

Despite not having read the previous books, I felt that the author covered everything well enough that I wasn't lost. This was my first book by Debra Webb, and it definitely won't be my last! It was incredibly hard for me to put this down.

Finlay O’ Sullivan is a legal investigator working for a private lawyer’s firm. She embarks upon a cold case this time when new evidence pops up about the young victim and the shady clients have hired to protect themselves from any possible implication in their involvement in the case. The clients have a dark past and are involved in questionable business, Nashville police think they are the possible murderers but Finley feels there is more to this story and goes on a hunt to dig out the truth only to figure out that the truth hits closer to her home that she could ever imagine . The stakes are higher this time and seems like the murderer is again ready to do anything a second time to get away from it all !

This is your legal / cop , crime procedural action thriller. Although it’s a 3rd installment in the series you can read it as stand alone novel. The reader gets to read a lot about the main character Finley including her backstory where a brutal incident has taken place and continues to have repercussions in her present life and there is much focus to that as a side story. Other than that it’s a quick page turner and is all about the clues she places together to solve the mystery with surprising twists added in for the shock factor for the readers.
The only thing I felt at places in the story the same point of her having feeling something was wrong , she wasn’t being told the truth was dragging . For the sleuthing she does to me it felt like she wasn’t deriving at answers on her own , rather stumbling upon them and certain twists a little too far fetched.

Nevertheless if you are new to thrillers or like crime dramas , this can be decent pick for a quick read.

It’s a 3.5 / 5 ⭐️ read for me .

I’ve heard the previous installments were good reads too , so I may check them out in the future.

Absolute thriller from one page to the next and amazing storyline. This is a series so I now need to go get caught up on the novels that came before this. Love Finley’s character, she is awesome. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

This was a great book. I loved every paragraph, every sentence and every word of this masterpiece! I read it in 12 hours, which is a lot for me to do! It had everything and more laid out in the novel! I sure hope There is more to come from this author! I am totally hooked!

𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘴, by Debra Webb, is the third book in the “Finley O’Sullivan” series.
It picks up after the events in the second book, and Finley finds herself solving a cold case. The case involved a teenager being murdered; and then her mother & the prime suspect (Finley’s client’s brother) both go missing.
The case remained unsolved for 13 years, and new evidence has surfaced at her client’s old warehouse. But while investigating this crime, new evidence surfaces & the real murderer may still be a threat & want to harm Finley.


This book felt like a rollercoaster ride to me. It does start off a bit slow, then picks up at full speed; slows down then picks up again.
There was a twist I didn’t see coming, and then there was a “twist” I did see coming.
My favorite part was the part to right before the ending because it was kind of out of left field.
Overall, I did enjoy this but it is not a standalone novel & you will have to read the previous books to know what is exactly going on in this novel.

You will have to read the other books in this series to know what is going on.

Webb gives the reader a cleverly plotted tale with red herrings and diversions from any clues to the superb twist that is revealed just before an exciting climax (or two). While there are spoilers for earlier books, this one can easily stand alone, and more of this cast will be most welcome. Brilliant crime fiction.

This is the 3rd book in the Finley O’Sullivan series - don’t worry I won’t give anything away!!🤗 But I will say I think Webb did a really good job at bringing us back up to speed so you don’t have to re-read the first two books before diving back into another O’Sullivan investigation.

Just like the first two, this investigation is a roller coaster that will keep you guessing in the best way possible!! This one kept me up late a couple nights trying to figure out how everything would play out & I didn’t see it coming until the end!!

This is the third book in the series and it was just as good as the other two!

In this one, Fin has finally allowed herself to find happiness with Matt. The case she is working on is a different story. Nothing seems to be adding up with this case and the more people she talks to the more she gets tangled up in the lies.

Then there is the fact that she still has a tail trailing her and threatening her life… could it be from her dead husband’s past or from the case she is working on?

I am hoping there is a fourth book so we can find out if Fin wins and becomes the new DA and then of course how that will affect her job and personal life.

Investigator Finley O'Sullivan is at it again this time taking on a cold case. While this is #rd in the series it can also be read as a stand alone.

This was a fantastic thriller. I liked the plot and the characters were a lot of fun. Very much recommend this book.

A young girl brimming with promise full of ambition is murdered in pursuit of a story, an expose that she hopes will make her mother, a leading investigative journalist, proud. Two weeks later her father a prominent cardiothoracic surgeon is dead of a massive heartache and 6 weeks later her grieving mother disappears. The police never find the murderer and the case turns cold. Now 13 years old new evidence has come to light and investigator Finley is assigned to find out what happened.
Thirteen years is a long time, but surprising new evidence comes to light. Witnesses now added to the stories that they had originally told the police. Is someone playing Finley and directing her to a truth that is actually a lie. Certainly, there are a lot of people lying to Finley or at least not giving her the full truth. The trail also seems to hit very close to home, to Finley's father who is also amongst the people not fully disclosing the truth. In the meantime, a man in a black hoodie and sunglasses is following Finley and threatening her. Is it related to this story or is it the case she closed right before she took this one on.
The story will keep you on the edge as Finley doggedly pursues the truth. The truths will blow your mind away. An absolutely fascinating story.

This is the third book in the Finley O'Sullivan series. This book could easily be read as a stand-alone book but the series is well worth reading, and you would learn more about Finley. Finley is called in to her boss, Jack's office; she is currently working as an investigator for his law practice. Jack's new client, Ray Johnson, is reportedly a gangster, of ill repute. He is possibly being charged in the thirteen year old murder of student, Lucy Cagle. Lucy's murder was never solved and not long after Lucy's death, her father died of a heart attack and her mother then dissappeared, never to be heard from again.

Finley remembers this case and urges Jack not to take it, but he owes his client's father a debt and now it is time to repay it. As Finley looks into the matter, she realizes that this case hits much closer to home than she thought it would and although her only desire is to find the truth, she is scared of what that truth might be. Finley also notice someone tailing her, is it regarding this case, or is it related to her late husband's murder.

This was a great read with lots of twists. I will say, I kind of guessed a few of the twists but still really enjoyed reading the book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

The Finley O'Sullivan series is unlike other mystery series out there. Fun twists and turns and relatable characters helps draw readers in. I have enjoyed this series from the start and can't wait for the next.

"All the Little Truths" is the 3rd book in the Finley O'Sullivan series of books but this is my first experience of the series. As I understand it, Finley used to be a successful State Attorney. But when she and her husband are both attacked in their homes, during which her husband is killed and she is gravely injured, Finley has to go through hell to put her life back together. The circumstances had greatly affected her mental health and she even gets temporarily banned from the Attorney's office due to a breakdown she suffers while in court.

Currently, we see that she works as a legal investigator for her mentor and close friend Jack. And she is asked by Jack to help their new client Ray Johnson, a notorious businessman suspected of various illegal activities, when he is suspected in the murder of Lucy Cagle that occurred 13 years ago. Though sceptical about his innocence retarding the crime, she launches her investigation into the murder.

The fact that both Ray's brother Ian and Lucy's mother Louise had disappeared with a few months of the murder seems interesting to Finley and her investigation into the murder leads her to unexpected avenues, some that of people closer to her. Who is the murderer? Will Finley be able to overcome her personal trauma and make herself more forward further?

Finley is the typical tortured soul most of the thriller series feature; she has had a trauma in the recent past, is still trying to overcome it and she also needs to reconcile herself to life as it is presently. However, Debra Webb has a more unique style of storytelling. All her characters are very relatable and mostly likable too. And there is a continuity to their role in Finley's life.

Webb has managed to bring all the different elements of the story, that have carried over from the previous books, in a clever and cohesive narrative. Not to say that all the mysteries when revealed were shocking. I had a fair idea about certain twists very much earlier but still the structuring of the story and the events were so very enjoyable that I didn't lose interest at all.

I must say Debra Webb is another author who has joined my list of most favourites and I just couldn't wait to read more of her works.

Although I felt like the basic plot and premise was an interesting one, I didn’t love the tone and writing style of this book as much as I’d hoped. Some of the dialogue felt a little unbelievable and the end felt like a very long list trying to wrap up every twist and turn in the book rather than having a natural flow. Will definitely try another of the author’s books though!
