A great Christmas read. Loved that you get to see Gannon and Paige from the previous book.
And just like the previous book it has a grumpy sunshine trope.
Cat and Noah are dynamic and there are so many witty retorts. Really enjoyed the holiday spirit and the town of Merry.

I have fun with Lucy Score's writing and world-building, but every book I've read by her has felt about 100 pages too long. This was a fun, steamy Christmas romance, but at a certain point the slice-of-life storytelling gets a little tedious and I'd rather move the plot along faster. I picked this up not realizing it was part of a series, and some of the characters mentioned had backstories I didn't quite understand, but it still was easy to read as a standalone.

I loved this book! Such a Hallmark vibe with some extra spiciness. So cute! It was heart warming and so fun!

Ending my 2023 holiday reading with a bang! This is my final book of the year and I loved it! It was the perfect pace for me, had the holiday vibes that I know and love and a cast of characters that I could root for.
Featuring the grumpy/sunshine trope, Noah was the town leader/grumpy guy who was too focused on his work and keeping the people in his town safe. Cat was the bright, fun, independent workaholic in charge of her own home reno show and determined to bring Christmas back to the small town of Merry after a devastating hurricane tore through the town, destroying homes. Even though Noah wanted no part of it, Cat managed to win him over.
It had Hallmark vibes, but also some after dark because there were definitely some steamy scenes. I really liked the two mains and the way their personalities clashed but also worked so well together. The writing was great!
So much to love about this book:
Small town
Christmas season
Home reno
Divorced co-parenting that works
Strong female lead
Sense of community
Spicy steam
Sweet love story
This was a great read and I hope you'll check it out! Thanks to the publisher, author and netgalley for my copy.

Thanks to the publisher for the gifted e-copy.
A DIY tv star rolls in to save the day after a late hurricane demolishes a conveniently named town (Merry) in order to get it ready for their annual Christmas Eve Festival. Noah, the grumpy city manager, doesn't want her help, but begrudgingly realizes that she can actually save the day. Surprisingly (not) they have chemistry and then there's an HEA.
A fun steamy holiday read for fans of this author. Fairly predictable, kind of long, but fun and festive.

The Christmas Fix was a fun and sweet romance that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Ever since I read the Knockemout series I’ve been trying to read more Lucy Score. This book did not disappoint! I loved the town of Merry and the strong female figures in the book. I thought it was great to see a book where the male was divorced but still had an amicable relationship with his ex wife and that the women were not pitted against each other. The relationship with Cat and Noah was great although I got a little annoyed at how long it took Noah to come around to how great Cat is. I think this book was great, but it didn’t quite rise to the level of the Knockemout series books for me. (I found that series very addicting) Overall, I loved this book and have already ordered the first of the series. Thanks to Bloom Books for the ARC!

Loved it! Unwraps a delightful holiday romance with a spicy twist. The enemies-to-lovers trope comes to life with fantastic banter, steamy encounters, and the perfect dose of denial. The unique touch of reality television adds flair, showcasing the normal side of Catalina. While the relationship progression and single-dad angle are commendable, some readers may find parts a tad slow. Overall, it's a super cute, spicy romance perfect for the winter season.

This is probably my least favorite of the Lucy Score books I have read. It was fine, but the characters weren’t my favorite and I feel like you can tell it’s one of her earlier books rather than her more recent series.

Small town in trouble. Needs saving in time for Christmas.
Baddie tv personality coming in to save the day. Kinda grumpy single dad town manager who doesn’t want her help.
Cue up the enemies to lovers (which is my favorite!). Cat and Noah had amazing banter, steam and denial galore. Such a fun read!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this small town romance!! The characters were so fun, especially Cat. I loved the ending and how it all came together. I need to go back and read the first one, but this can totally be read as a stand alone!

I absolutely loved this holiday romance from Lucy Score. I just finished Mr. Fixer Upper so hav9ng part 2 was perfeft!
I loved Cat in Mr. Fixer Upper so I’m glad she got her own storyline. As much as I loved her brother and Paige, I think I loved her and Noah more. I loved their grumpy sunshine vibe. A cute Holiday read.

I have to start by saying that I had not realized that this was a follow-up to a previous book, so I really struggled with Cat at the beginning. I felt like I was being told to like her because she was great, but I needed time to see just how great she was. It didn't help that every chapter from Noah's perspective tore her down, so it took me awhile to really get into it. Once I did, though, I wholeheartedly enjoyed this read. Cat and Noah are an excellent couple that I really found myself rooting for, and I loved that Cat has her own ambitions that drive her actions and choices. The resolution was truly a compromise between her different goals, and I loved that the only sacrifices she had to make were the ones that she needed to make anyway to grow as a character, rather than being forced to fit into a smaller role for the sake of a relationship that she had resisted from the beginning. I think most romance readers will love this, and there's enough plot and character growth to attract non-romance readers as well.

I mean.. has Lucy Score ever written a less than 5 star read?? This one was sooo good! I loved the characters, I loved the spice, I loved the love!! Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this holiday romance from Lucy Score. I read Mr. Fixer Upper last summer. I do wish that storyline was a little fresher, but otherwise I loved this!
I loved Cat in Mr. Fixer Upper so I’m glad she got her own storyline. As much as I loved her brother and Paige, I think I loved her and Noah more. I loved their grumpy sunshine vibe. Cat is so determined to help the town of Merry and help them recover after the flood. I loved her big heart and determination to help despite Noah attempting to block the show. Their chemistry was undeniable. I also loved his daughter Sarah.
I loved them being open and the things Noah did to hair show he cared. I loved the tight little community of Merry and how they came together.
This reminded me why I love Lucy Score’s writing and made me want to pick up another one of her books immediately!

This is a great Christmas- Spicy romance easy read for the winter!
Cat is a bold woman who knows what she wants and won’t stop until she convinces the stubborn town mayor, Noah, to let her help the CT town save their Christmas festival. She is a tv personality who does home improvement.
The small Connecticut town just suffered damage from a hurricane and the busy mayor is not interested in her ideas.
The writer, Lucy Score does a great job building the relationship between these two characters.
I loved the banter and flirting between them!
Love a good romance!
Thanks to netgalley for the eArc for my review

This one is super cute. I loved the reality television side of it all, this was a really unique turn on that. I enjoyed seeing the other side of it and how normal Catalina was. Noah is the grumpy, fixer MMC that we all want to have in our lives. Their relationship progression was well paced and the single dad side of it was *chefs kiss* perfect!
The only downside is that it felt really slow. We could have skipped a lot of the boring parts!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 (4 Stars)
Steam: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 (multiple steamy scenes with description)

This was a great read for the days leading up to Christmas! Basically like a hallmark movie with spicy scenes! It also had some really funny scenes which I enjoyed.
This is the second book in a series but can still be read as a stand alone. I didn’t read the first book but understood this well. This book was originally published in 2017, but re-published this year with Bloom Publishing and a new cover.
This book follows Cat, she is a reality tv renovator, tasked with fixing up the town of Merry for Christmas. Noah is the grumpy city manager. It’s a great hate to love story. It took me a bit to get into this but overall it was a fun Christmas romance read! If you love Lucy Score like I do, I recommend this one!

Yes Lucy score!
I really enjoyed this series! So fun and steamy!
I loved Cat’s character! She was confident and unforgiving.
Great character development and storyline.
Definitely recommend this and the series!

This is the perfect holiday book. It felt like I was reading Hallmark movie. At times, it felt a little predictable but it also felt right. The book mostly takes place leading up to Christmas. Noah may be a new book boyfriend. Him and Cat are perfect for each other.
This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read book 1 yet but still enjoyed this book.
I was given an Advanced Reader Copy by NetGalley for an honest review.

After filming her hit home renovation show there, Cat has a soft spot for the town of Merry, Connecticut. So when a hurricane hits, destroying much of the town, Cat is the first person who wants to go help. She convinces her network to make it into a show - getting the town back on its feet in time for the spectacular Christmas celebration the town is known for. But there’s one major hurdle: Noah, the city manager, does not want the show, or Cat, in his town. She’s set to prove him wrong and bring Christmas back to Merry.
First of all, I was very excited for a main character named Cat! And I especially loved that she was a bit sassy and tough! She and Noah made the perfect enemies to lovers pair and I adored their relationship. This book really was exactly the slow burn, steamy holiday romance I didn’t know I needed in my life. I loved the reality TV show storyline and that Cat was there to help rebuild. I adored the sweet town of Merry and the various side characters in the story. And I loved the holiday vibes. This one left me feeling so happy!
Thanks to Bloom Books and NetGalley for the advance copy.
