Super cute and sweet book about Easter and springtime babies.

Fiona, the loveable hippo from the Cincinnati Zoo, wants to celebrate Easter with her friends. She decides to host an Easter egg hunt.

While placing the eggs all over, Mrs. Swan asks Fiona if she wouldn't mind watching her nest. Fiona wants to snuggle up to the eggs to keep them warm, but Fiona is much bigger than a swan! Ooops!!!! The ends roll away and get mixed in with the Easter eggs.

Quickly, they scoop up the eggs and return them to the nest before continuing their task of hiding all the colorful eggs. But sometimes accidents happen and one of Mrs. Swans eggs get mixed in and hidden too!!

Now, there is an even more important egg hunt! The hunt for Mrs. Swans egg!!

This is such a super cute and sweet book about Easter but also about making mistakes and righting them. It's a story about friends and fun. Perfect Easter book for you and your littles. Especially fans of Fiona or animals in general. It is packed with bright and colorful illustrations that your Littles will love to stare at while you read to them.

I just read this with my 17 month old all, and she wants it to have all the stars!!!!

As always, thanks to the publisher and netgalley for providing me a copy in exchange for an honest review

Fiona and the Easter Egg Hunt is a hilarious story about Fiona, your favorite hippo, and an Easter egg hunt that goes sideways! She and her friend Rico are setting up an Easter egg hunt for all the animals at the zoo. When they stop to say hello to Mrs Swan, they watch her eggs for her for a minute, and they accidentally end up hiding one of the swan eggs with the egg hunt! Luckily, they find the baby swan, who adopts Fiona the hippo as her new mommy. Such a fun story! Loved the illustrations and the story! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this advanced review copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review on the book!

The Fiona books are a favorite picture book series for my kids, and they loved this new addition!

It is Easter at the zoo, and that means new babies and Easter egg hunts. Fiona hides eggs for her friends at the zoo, and an egg that is about to hatch accidentally gets hidden too. The animals rush to find the egg before it hatches in this sweet book.

The illustrations are adorable, with vibrant colors that make you think of spring. The baby animals are too cute, and my kids loved seeing them hunt for the pastel hued eggs. And of course the storyline about the hatching egg was a big hit!

Thank you to NetGalley and Zonderkidz for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

Finoa and the Easter Egg Hunt is a sweet, lighthearted story. Fiona was a fun character to follow. All she wanted to do was set up an Easter egg hunt when an unfortunate event occurs. The illustrations were very beautiful. And while it followed a very predictible plot, it felt like a warm hug with how caring all the animals were to each other.
