This is a good children's book, which shows a monster called Max who is very messy. The mess he makes while he has fun has taken over his life, and he has to learn to fix it, so that he can feel better.

The images in the book are quirky and fun, and children will love them. The text is in rhyming fashion, which my daughter enjoyed.

This book is part of a series. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic rhyming picture book full of gorgeous full color illustrations. It’s a fun read and seems even funnier when you read it out loud. I can’t wait to share this with my grandmuffin! Read this one with the little one, we both enjoyed it. Great illustrations, imaginative story - a good one to encourage the little one to be mindful of staying tidy!

This book was the perfect read with my four year old today right after we had a big talk about cleaning and leaving his toys everywhere. He was following along asking questions like why didn’t he pick up? And ewwww at the grossness. I imagine it will become a regular book in our household. If you have kids that don’t like to pick up I 100% recommend this cute book.

The Messiest Monster on Mill Street is the hilarious story of Max, a little monster who is too busy having fun to clean up after himself. After a while, his mess grows so big and gross that it starts to grow its own ecosystem. (Seriously, this reminds me of the room I shared with my sister when I was a teenager, but my clothes never started dancing! But I digress.)

This is a wonderfully fun book written in verse and delightfully illustrated to teach kids that sometimes it's worth taking a little time to clean up after themselves and not let everything get out of control. Thankfully Max learns his lesson. He might not be the cleanest monster on the block, but he's come a long way! Super fun story for your messy kid!

The Messiest Monster on Mill Street is an entertaining book full of playful rhymes about how easy it is for a mess to get out of hand. Max showed determination and turned his bad situation around. This book helps young readers understand how much fun it is to make a mess, and how much better everything is once it is all cleaned up.

The Messiest Monster on Mill Street teaches Max what happens when his mess gets out of control. Max gets trapped in his mess and discovers all sorts of things. His clothes come to life and dust bunnies chase him! When Max escapes his mess he takes responsibility and cleans it up, one step at a time. Max’s story teaches young readers how they can tackle a mess by breaking it up into smaller steps. His story also suggests what kids can do to prevent a giant mess from piling up.

This will be a great read-aloud book to teach students how we can work together as a class to prevent giant messes from growing in our classroom.

This is such a cute book. It would be a great book to read to little kids on the importance of picking up and being clean. I loved the rhyming and the illustrations. Perfect for school or home!

The book talked of getting overwhelmed over ‘simply’ (or seemingly simple) things, and how that makes you feel (We all know the feeling). It talked of doing things one at a time to not get overwhelmed ! Great work!!

Another Mill Street series winner that lyrically introduces young readers to messy Max. Young readers learn to identify things they can do to keep their space and common spaces clean and tidy as well as the problems that might arise if they don’t. Fantastical images that allow for search and find opportunities space out the rhyming verse throughout. Short and sweet, this tidy little number is sure to be a winner for adults wanting to broach the subject of cleanup without being preachy.
